The Schluter Kerdi 32-Inch X 60-Inch Shower Kit is what I used to install this niche. The Niche has a premium appearance and feel. Since the central shelf is not fixed to the niche, it may be moved around however you desire. I put in the niche without using the center shelf that came with it. Two pieces of 3/8-inch thick glass that I had cut to size were utilized as shelves. After the installation was complete, each shelf's height was suitable. The lowest shelf is little taller than 3.5 inches. The middle shelf is about 12 inches high. The top shelf is about 10 inches tall. The niche was used in a new shower installation, so I created a frame out of 2x4 studs that was the right size for the niche. The niche installation was fairly easy and straightforward. The niche wall does flex slightly because it is composed of some form of foam. I would advise using a strong backing at the back of the niche during installation if there is a space between the back of the niche and the wall behind it. To close the space and provide some support so it won't flex, I used spray foam. Be careful not to spray too much as the substance does have the potential to expand and push the niche wall outward. I am pleased with the finished niche install's overall results.

The unit's flow was good but not ideal when I first placed it. The flow is significantly improved and the shower experience is fantastic after the discs are removed. Second, after the initial installation, I discovered a tiny leak at the point where the down rod and control valve came together. The following day, I took it out and tightened all the fittings because it was enough that it needed to be fixed. The moral of the story is that you should remove all the pieces before installing this, lubricate the o-rings, and then gently tighten. It is simple to implement and will save time.This device is very well made and ought to last a very long time. The shower experience is fantastic, and I want to install this fixture in the other bathrooms in our home. Anyone should do this, in my opinion.

My possession of the panel dates back about three months. It has really made me happy. There are a few things worth pointing out.I set up the appliance in a normal tub/shower combo made for building with a curtain. Installing a diamond in a chunk of coal was a little bit like what I was doing, but my goal was to prototype a panel in the guest bathroom for a later installation of a comparable or nicer unit in my main bathroom. I now exclusively shower in the guest bathroom as a result.Why? I can readily observe my current temperature when the shower is warming up because the panel has a temperature gauge. I am aware of the ideal temperatures for both a post-workout shower and a regular evening shower. Before I enter, I can adjust the faucet to the ideal temperature. really coolIn the shower, the panel looks fantastic. Really good looking for the price, I should add. Be prepared to give the fascia a wash down after your shower if you have hard water to keep it shining. No big deal; it only takes me a few seconds.Although the shower has a fixed spray head, I adore how it feels like it is raining. The large square shower outlet's water flow is quite evenly spread, and it feels amazing without sprinkling everywhere. Nearly no shower curtain is necessary. You can utilize the hand held shower fixture, which has various spray patterns, to get a massage effect.The little spray outlets on the fascia are functional but I believe they are unnecessary. They probably would appeal to certain folks.The installation was a little challenging, but it was because my home had outdated plumbing that I had to tear out and repair. The good news is that I was able to locate all required components on Amazon.Last but not least, the shower fascia doubles as a mirror so you can shave in the morning. On top of the panel, there is a tiny flat surface that is ideal for storing shaving gel and razors.Overall, I am really pleased with this shower and, as of the third month, think it represents excellent value.Edit after a year has passed. Although the shower has not yet been renovated, it still looks and functions nicely.

I was planning to purchase a shower stool or seat, but I just couldn't see the point of using the WHOLE seat in a 48" shower to shave. I also didn't want it to grow into a huge shelf. Then I discovered this item! It is flawless, excellent in function, and gorgeous to look at; I adore the knurled texture. Some people have assumed it to be an oddly positioned grab bar, but when I explain what it is, they are astounded. My only criticism is that it has a plastic backing, but because of how it attaches to the metal pole with screws, the longevity is unaffected. This item arrived in very beautiful packaging. Although this is a relatively new product with few available options, I feel the price is a little high. I don't mind shelling out a lot of money for high-quality items, but this didn't seem as substantial as I had hoped. Still, the purchase was totally worthwhile.

As soon as I closed on my most recent home, I started making plans for ALL the renovations that would be made: knocking down walls, installing a new roof, new wood and tile floors, remodeling the kitchen, adding a 4-season room, upgrading the electrical and plumbing, and creating two bathrooms that would serve as the oasis in my "hidden in the woods" home.All I can say is WOW now that I've finished the first bathroom and this little jewel is operational.The panel is sturdy but still somewhat light-weight (mainly plastic and pressed sheet metal components). Because I built my bathroom to fit THIS SPECIFIC panel, the stud work behind the wall and tiles was planned out to provide the necessary support required to essentially hang this product up like a large picture. The installation is quite simple. To suit the height at which it would be mounted and to make it simple to connect to the hose work on the back of the unit, plumbing was run. The item is secured in place by two supporting wall hooks that are integrated into the back of the unit, which also has two cross members.Tile work started after ensuring that all plumbing was up to code, leak-free, and tested (which is another story in itself). It was definitely a work of art:-) Once that part of the renovation was over, I hung this little puppy, linked the cables, and tested it out. The handheld wand, spicket/bucket filler, body shower, body jets, waterfall feature, and body shower all functioned perfectly:-) Additionally, I can run two features concurrently with respectable results because I have pretty good water pressure. Oh, I forgot to mention the mood lighting. Talk about enhancing my showering experience with a soothing, relaxing atmosphere:-)I have nothing but praise for this shower panel. It was amazing from shipping to installation to use. So much so that I'll be purchasing a second one for the renovation of my master bathroom:-)Oh, I almost forgot to mention that assembly was simple because there wasn't much to put together; the portable wand is the only component that needs to be installed. There isn't much to tell, hence there are very few instructions. The several ways to hang the device are briefly explained, and the controls are also mentioned. The controls are very simple to operate and understand because each dial has embossed icons that indicate which feature is being used. To that end, there are three dials: one for turning on/off the water temperature, one for controlling three functions, and a third dial for controlling the final three features. On/off switches for your lights and digital temperature display are placed near the top on the rear.My panel has been in operation for five months so far, and during that time it has performed admirably and dazzled anybody who has stopped by to view it. I bought the panel to replace an old one that started to leak and could not be repaired. The ordering process was simple, the product arrived on schedule, and there were no broken pieces. For a true DIYer, the installation instructions were sufficient. Given that I had all the plumbing ready and support clips in the wall from a prior panel, installing the panel was fairly simple and it looks great. The fact that the blue lights don't require batteries makes them fairly cool in my opinion. The configuration of the jets and control knobs is practical, and the pressure is good. The product will function as expected despite the quality being that of a less expensive one. Although it was not necessary, I would have preferred a rubber edging between the unit and the wall. Overall, the installation was simple, and my shower is pleased with the outcome. My daughter stated the shower was incredibly "awesome," but I haven't used it yet. The temperature readout is another feature that I truly appreciate, but it's not essential for making a purchase.

I therefore set out to discover the ideal shower head when we renovated our main bathroom. Located it!This system satisfies all of my requirements thanks to its many settings and slick appearance.
