Schluter KERDI-Board-SN: Shower Niche (with Shelf) 12"x28" (1) Review:

I installed this niche with the Schluter Kerdi 32-Inch X 60-Inch Shower Kit. The Niche looks and feels like quality. The middle shelf is not attached and can be removed or positioned were you like within the niche. I installed the niche without the included middle shelf. I cut to size 2 pieces of 3/8 inch thick glass and used them as shelves. The height of each shelf after completion of the installation was adequate. The height of the bottom shelf is a little more than 3.5 inches. The height of the middle shelf is about 12 inches. The height of the top shelf is about 10 inches. The niche was used in a new shower install so I did make a frame in the size of the niche made with 2x4 studs. The niche install was relatively straight forward and simple. The niche is made of some sort of foam so the niche wall does have some flex to it. If there is a gap from the back of the niche to the wall behind the niche, then I would suggest during the install to use some sort of solid backing at the back of the niche. I used spray foam to fill the gap and give it some sort of support so there's no flex. Make sure not to spray too much because the stuff does expand and my push the niche wall outward. I am happy with the overall out come of the finished niche install.

PULSE ShowerSpas 1011-III-BN Kauai III Shower System with 8" Rain Showerhead, 5-Function Hand Shower, Adjustable Slide Bar and Soap Dish, Brushed Nickel Finish Review:

I really like this shower head and would have given it a perfect 5 star review if it wasn't for 2 things. First, unless you live in a water savings community remove the flow control discs. When I initially installed the unit the flow was good but not perfect. After removing the discs the flow is much better and a great shower experience. Secondly, after the initial instillation I noticed a small leak where the down rod met the control valve. It was enough that it needed to be repaired so the next day I removed it and tightened all the fittings. Moral of the story is that before you install this I recommend removing all parts, lube the o-rings, and carefully tighten. It is easy to do and will save time upon instillation.
This unit is really well made and should work for a long time. The shower experience is awesome and I plan on upgrading the other bathrooms in our house with this fixture. I would recommend this to anyone.

Blue Ocean 52" Aluminum SPA392M Shower Panel Tower with Rainfall Shower Head, 8 Multi-functional Nozzles Review:

I have had the panel for about three months now. I am really happy with it. There are a couple of items worth mentioning

I installed the unit in a typical construction grade tub/shower arrangement with curtain. This was a bit like installing a diamond in a piece of coal but my plan was to prototype a panel in the guest bath for eventual installation of a similar or nicer unit in my master bathroom. The net result is I now take all my showers in the guest bathroom.

Why? Well, the panel has a temp gauge so I can easily see where I'm at when I get the shower warming up. I know what my best temps are fo post workout shower and normal evening shower. I can set the faucet up and get exactly the right temp before I step in. Very cool.

The panel looks great in the shower. It really looks high quality for the price. If you have hard water, be prepared to give the fascia a wipe down after your shower in order to keep it shiny. No biggie, takes me about 30 seconds.

The shower head is a fixed spray but I love the rainlike quality of the shower. Water flow is very evenly distributed across the large square shower outlet and is just feels great without splashing all over the place. You could almost shower without a curtain. For those who want a massage effect you can use the hand held shower fixture which provides different spray patterns.

The small spray outlets on the fascia work OK but I find them somewhat superfluous. Some people would probably like them.

The install was a bit of a pain but that had to do with ancient plumbing at my place, all f which I had to cut out and replace. Good news is I was able to find all necessary parts on Amazon.

Finally the shower fascia is like a mirror so you can use it to shave in the morning. There is a small flat area on top of the panel which is perfect for shaving cream and razor storeage.

Overall I am really happy with this shower and consider it a great value for money as of the three month point.

Edit at the one year point. Still very happy have not remodeled yet but shower still looks and operates beautifully.

Sanliv Wall Mounted Corner Shower Foot Rest, Modern Bathroom Shower Step Knurled Surface Texture in Brushed Nickel Finish Review:

I was going to buy a shower stool/seat for my shower but just couldn't justify a WHOLE seat in a 48" shower just to shave. I didn't want it to turn into an enormous shelf either. Then I found this product! It is perfect, works great and has a very nice look, I love the knurled texture. A few people have thought it was a weirdly placed grab bar when I explain what it is they are blown away. This came very nicely packaged, my only complaint is that it has plastic backing, but because of where it gets screwed through the metal pole it does not effect the durability. I think the cost is a little high, but its only because this is a relatively new product with minimal options available. I am not against paying a high fee for good quality but this didn't feel like a heavy brass like i was hoping. Still, completely worth the buy.

ELLO&ALLO Stainless Steel Shower Panel Tower System,LED Rainfall Waterfall Shower Head 6-Function Faucet Rain Massage System with Body Jets, Brushed Review:

Right after buying my recent home I set out upon the task of walking thru the house making my plans for ALL the renovations that were to take place; knocking down walls, new roof, new wood and tile floors, kitchen remodel, 4-season room addition, electrical/plumbing upgrades and building two bathrooms that would be the Oasis in my "hidden in the woods" home.

Now that I'm finished with the first bathroom and this little gem is up and in use, All I can say is WOW!!!

The panel is well constructed and yet relatively lightweight (mainly plastic and pressed sheet metal components). The installation is pretty straightforward and because I built my bathroom to fit THIS SPECIFIC panel, the stud work behind the wall/tiles was laid out to give the necessary support required to basically hang this product up like a large picture. Plumbing was ran to accommodate the height at which it would be hung and to easily connect to the hose work on the backside of the unit. The unit is built with two cross members on the backside where the supporting wall hooks hold the item in place.

Once insuring all plumbing was run to code and leak free/tested, tile work began (which is another story in itself). Once that portion of the reno was completed I hung this little puppy, connected the lines and gave it a test run; it was truly a thing of beauty:-) The rainfall feature, waterfall feature, body shower, body jets, handheld wand and spicket/bucket filler all worked flawlessly:-) And because I have pretty decent water pressure I can run two features simultaneously with decent results. Oh!!! did I mention the mood light? Talk about adding a calming hypnotic ambiance to my shower experience:-)

I can't say enough great things about this shower panel. From delivery to installation to usage it's been wonderful. So much so that I'll be buying a second for my master bathroom remodel:-)

Oh almost forgot, assembly was a breeze because there was very little to assemble, the unit comes assembled except for the handheld wand. The instructions are quite minimal because there isn't much to tell. A quick explanation is given as to the various ways to hang the unit and mention is made to the controls, which are very easy to use and figure out seeing as how each dial has embossed icons letting you know which feature you're using. On that note, there are three dials; your water temperature on/off dial, a dial for three features and a third dial for the remaining three features. Near the top located on the back are on/off switches for your lights and digital temperature screen respectively.

My panel has been in use for 5 months so far and it has worked great as well as impressed everyone that has been over to see it. It really is a beautiful modern-like piece of art:-)

If you're still on the fence about this item my advice; give it a try and i suspect you'll be as pleasantly surprised with yours as I am with mine.

Thanks ELLO & ALLO:-)

ELLO&ALLO LED Shower Panel Tower System, Rainfall and Mist Head Rain Massage Stainless Steel Shower Fixtures with Adjustable Body Jets, Brushed Nickel Review:

I purchased the panel to replace an existing old one that started leaking and was not fixable. The ordering process was easy, the product came on time and did not have any damaged pieces. The instructions to install were adequate for a person who is a true DIYer. The panel looks really nice and was very easy to install given I already all the plumbing ready as well as the support clips in the wall from a previous panel. The blue lights are pretty cool - I like the fact they do not need batteries. The pressure is good and the layout of the jets and control knobs are functional. The quality is what would be expected for a less expensive product, but will work fine. I would have liked a rubber edging between the unit and the wall, but certainly not required. All in all, it was easy to install and the results look good in my shower. I have not used the shower yet, but my daughter said it was really "cool". I also really like the temperature readout, although certainly not a critical buying feature.

Kind of pricy for what it is until you realize the time savings on installation vs making your own niche. Installs easy and the overall design makes timing a snap. Definitely worth the price.

ELLO&ALLO LED Rainfall Waterfall Shower Head Rain Massage System with Body Jets Stainless Steel Bathroom Shower Panel Tower System, Brushed Nickel Review:

I’m a shower snob. I’ll almost always pay more for a hotel just based on what I know about their shower heads. So, when we remodeled our master bath, I was on a mission to find the absolute perfect shower head. Found it!

This system, with its multiple settings and very sleek look, is everything I wanted. We love the temperature control and watching the LED screen get up to temperature is just flat cool. The main setting we use is the overhead “rain” setting. I was quite nervous the first time I turned it on because I have to have the water pressure strong to really like it. I was ecstatic to feel the water beating down on my head! The “massage” part of the description is accurate. The waterfall setting is awesome as well. I’ve found combinations I really love. As an added bonus ( if you want to call it that) I’ve had to give my dog a bath after a muddy romp in the back yard. The handle and hose feature made that much much easier than the old bath tub method.
I thought the blue LED lights were a bit overkill in the cool department until I found the best use for them. Was a long day, feeling like crap and wanted a hot shower. Bathroom Lights off and only the blue shower LEDs on. Most relaxing shower of my life.

Just so no one thinks I work for the manufacturer, I will say that most will find that the handheld wand and middle jets feel cheap. They’re made of plastic and will remind you why this cost around $200 instead of $500. Function is just fine though.
I’ve seen reviews say the LED lights work on a battery that can only be changed by taking the system off the wall. Um...no. There’s a turbine inside hooked to a tiny generator that uses water power to charge and light up the lights. Not exactly sure how that works but it sure is cool!
It’s been about a month now that we’ve had it and I love this thing! If we ever sell this house, it’s coming with me! (Probably not, but I’d buy another one.) I suppose if something happens down the road I’ll update this review, but this shower snob is one happy dude!
