This excellent gadget has performed much better than I had anticipated. The built-in LCD screen displays the song titles and lyrics while it plays the karaoke CD G disks flawlessly. It came with a single wired microphone, cables for an audio system and television, and a CD G disk containing five tracks. This device is lightweight and portable. You can turn on or off the front-facing LED light display. I really enjoy karaoke and love to sing, especially when no one else is around to hear me... LoL I am actually singing more in tune since acquiring this machine.The volume of sound this device produces is astounding. Although the size of the built-in speakers makes the bass weaker, the device still sounds decent overall. The device itself has a slightly "plastic" feel to it and could possibly be destroyed if not cared properly, but it is enduring and serving my goals fairly well. The best Karaoke machine I've ever bought is this one. For $500, I purchased equipment for 2,000 songs. It was terrible! I'd rather spend a little more on karaoke CDs and less on this machine. The sound is of excellent quality. I invested approximately $200 in equipment, CDs included, and I adore it! The CDs can be a bit pricey, but they are really worth it. Therefore, yes, it is a decent machine overall. However, because it only comes with one mic, be sure to also purchase a second one.

Great results! Although we don't use it much because neither of my girls can read quickly yet, it plugs into our TV for lyrics. Mostly, they keep it in their room where they sing.I bought a second mic to connect, and it too performs admirably. It takes a little while for the CD reader to start up, but it always functions. I haven't owned a CD player in a long. I'm not sure if they were always a little slow or if the digital age has made me spoilt. However, it functions well, and my 5- and 7-year-old children can use it independently, so that is a success!They enjoy shutting off the lights in their room and letting the flashing lights from the karaoke machine take over.

I noticed something that you might find useful that I didn't see in the product description or other reviews: I would suggest purchasing a 1/8" (3.5mm) Stereo Cable ($9.99 at Radio Shack; probably cheaper if you shop online, but I didn't know I needed it.) that will connect to the signing machine via the Audio IN (marked only by a musical note) spot in the back of the machine next to the spot where the video OUT cables attach. This cable will work with most personal audio devices, including the iphone, ipod, and ipad.This is great because it lets you from buying a ton of Karoyke CDs that your kids will want today but never listen to again by next month. 2) Connect your iPad and use the countless karaoke song and video lyrics available on YouTube. 3) Connect your iPhone or MP3 player, especially if it has a streaming service, and find just about any karaoke song you could ever want. Blast it through the singing machine.Since the lyrics currently only scroll on the iPad and not the TV, my next project is to use the chromecaster to broadcast the YouTube karaoke lyrics on the TV. This is a negligible trade-off, though, as YouTube offers a sizable karaoke library without having to buy numerous CDs, some of which will lose favor with the group. For the finest sound quality, turn the iPad volume all the way up.One more thing that makes this cable a good idea, especially for young children, is that the songs that young children frequently want to sing from their favorite recording artists are challenging. It's not the worst thing in the world to sing along WITH their favorite recordings, as the microphone easily allows the child's voice to boom over the singer's voice, but the singer is there as a guide; it can be challenging for young children and even some adults to follow scrolling lyrics. The ability to record your performances and save a sizable library of MP3 G files on a huge SD card is a fantastic addition, but it isn't as user-friendly as I would have wanted. This is the only issue I had when using it; otherwise, it operated flawlessly with CD G discs. If you utilize the SD card, you should be sure to use an external lookup reference and abbreviate the filenames to short codes (for example, "FS1002.mp3" and the accompanying lyrics file "FS1002.cdg"), since otherwise you may have difficulties determining which file to select when you scroll through the list of files. The switches on the mics are an interesting and convenient addition. The included disc, which contains well-known folk, kids', and holiday music, is suitable as a beginner package, but you'll undoubtedly want to buy extra songs that are more in line with your interests. You would be much better off purchasing software (and a laptop computer) to store the music, coordinate the karaoke tracks with artist and full name, your performer's names, and the order in which they will play and appear if your karaoke needs are more public performance-minded than home use-minded (i.e., you're truly a budding professional karaoke DJ). System has composite output only, which may not work well with many of the most recent flat-screen TVs and projectors, but it also plays DVDs but not Blu-Ray discs, which could be a benefit if you need to present a DVD. When you want to project the lyrics onto a big screen, you are still subject to the same restriction. In order to convert output to an HDMI signal, you will need to buy an adaptor. But if you're searching for a practical home system to prepare for karaoke night at the bar, to host a little party at your house, or just to enjoy singing karaoke tunes at home, this could be a great option for you.

My rating for Croove is 4, as my family truly likes using it. The machine's portability is excellent and the Bluetooth connection is simple due to its medium size. However, we do observe several areas for development, and we wanted to share these with you:* The mic stand may be made a little bit more durable in future models. It has some trembling. The master volume control and the two microphones' volume settings are already high, but you must sing louder for the mics to take up the sound. The echo feature is subpar. Even though it is already on high, this also does not appear to function well.The machine is nice to have for play and practice because the price is reasonable. I just wish the sound quality was a little bit better; if you could address the above, that could help.
