If your inflatable pool has a hole in it, you can try to patch it up with duct tape. Duct tape is not a permanent fix, but it may hold long enough for you to get some use out of your pool. Make sure the hole is clean and dry before applying the duct tape.
Yes, you can leave your Bestway pool up all year, but you will need to take some steps to winterize it. You will need to drain the pool and remove the liner. You will also need to clean the pool and add a winterizing chemical to the water.
A soft sided pool can be left up in the winter as long as it is properly covered. If the pool is not properly covered, it can collapse under the weight of the snow and ice.
Yes, you can leave your Intex pool up all winter, but you will need to take some extra steps to winterize it. You'll need to lower the water level, add antifreeze to the pump, and cover the pool.

At the end of the summer, I finally got around to purchasing the floaties I've needed for the lake and pool. I really like these; I've used them at our pool and they work great. I adore the fact that you can float while still having your body submerged in the water. The pumping portion is made of a stronger plastic than the conventional floats, so it appears to be of high quality. I hope they endure. I appreciate that there are two, one for my husband and one for me.

My son, who is 7 years old, loves the pool that I bought for him. The listed size is accurate, but it was considerably larger than I had anticipated. It feels like it would take a lot to break it in any way because it is so strong. The top's inflated ring does occasionally deflate, but I believe this is simply a result of spending so much time in the sun. Although I would have preferred a larger or more powerful pump, for the price it is adequate and we haven't had many problems with it. Overall, this is an excellent product at a good price!

As of now, so nice! It has pump attachments but no pump and is beautiful and robust. Prior to filling, make sure the bottom is completely flat and taught. We didn't, and getting it flat to stable so that it wouldn't swell and topple over was difficult. Additionally, be careful because the pressure will kill your grass, so plan where you want to keep it from the start.

In there for an afternoon of cocktails and sun were five adults and one boisterous child. And it was fantastic! I had trouble using the pump and filter, but that might have been because I don't normally follow directions and I was ready to go in the water. I didn't even bother with the pump or filter; I just utilized the plugs that came with it. I'll just have to put it back up. That MIGHT have been the reason my fiance took it down the next day.It was quite simple to set up. It merely took a few minutes to inflate the top using an air pump we had for another use. The sides of the pool then automatically rise as you begin to fill it with water. We set it up in around 10 minutes from beginning to end (although keep in mind, we didn't connect the pump/filter contraption). That entails setting it up, attempting to smooth out any creases on the bottom, inflating the top, and attaching the water line. It took around two hours to fill up. I merely sometimes peered out the window because I was inside getting other things ready for our Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous celebration.Anyway, there was a patch kit included in case it was punctured, but ours arrived whole and without any holes. Surprisingly, even after all of us sat in it for an afternoon and drank, it's still in good shape. So it must be fairly durable, right?I'd estimate that it comfortably accommodates 6-7 adults (along with the same number of inflatable drink holders). It was the ideal height for me to sit in and relax against the side while still having my head above the water because I was the shortest adult there at just over 5'.Additionally, this same pool had previously been ordered when one of my pals left. We'll probably alternate homes for our upscale pool parties throughout the summer.

Please read this if you're new to pools, have well water, or want to know how much work is involved in owning and maintaining a pool.First off, those who fall into the "in-between" category and don't want a blow-up-by-mouth pool for youngsters but aren't ready to commit to a "authentic" above-ground or in-ground pool may consider this alternative. But it clearly needs preparation, awareness, and upkeep. If you buy, inflate, and fill a weekend, you won't do well.PLANNING: A level location is a crucial necessity. Even a six-inch difference from one side to the other is excessive. We discovered how badly it swayed after learning the hard way and filling it completely. So we started afresh after emptying thousands of gallons of water. Although it is still far from ideal, it will see us through the summer. We are building a substantial sand pad to level the pool for next season. Please make a strategy in advance to save time and resources. A level site is required! Also, please be prepared with your pool chemicals. Visit the free online pool school to learn how to maintain your pool's water (it saved us). If you don't do this, you'll have contaminated water in about a week! When it gets unpleasant, you can't just empty and refill it because it contains so much water. An on-site chemical calculator is available. Additionally, you need test strips. Additionally, you will require chlorine (liquid is preferred); the perfumed and splash-free varieties are not suitable for use. Real liquid chlorine is required. According to the Pool School, this is the least expensive technique to adequately clean the water. This brand of bleach is reasonably priced on Amazon. Cyanuric acid will also be necessary. It functions for the chlorine much like a sunblock. Chlorine is degraded by sunlight and loses its cleaning effectiveness. CYA protects against chlorine. Even so, I still find that I need to add fresh chlorine every day to maintain acceptable levels on hot, sunny days with high temperatures.WE USE A COUNTRYWIDE WELL WITH HIGH IRON. really high. However, the home filter is not used by our outside faucets. As a result of the free iron particles floating around, we ended up with dark brown water (imagine water that is as black as Coke). To fix this, we built our own filter based on YouTube tutorials from individuals who had the same exact pool and problems on a well because the Intex filter is too small and complicated to handle it. In essence, you purchase a 5-gallon lidded bucket and fill it with pillow poly-fill. The water passes through there and is remarkably pure. It is a simple, wonderful remedy for iron water. Our Coke-like water transformed into breathtaking clarity in about 3 days. Please search for "Intex pool and well water with iron" on YouTube. The cover that is offered is a joke. Sorry. 2-stars. We don't use the cover because there aren't any trees close by.LADDER: Though incredibly durable, it's not wide enough for an adult to utilize. I felt unsteady as I descended the top steps into the lake since I have broader hips. But it's okay for kids. 3-stars.PUMP: No worries. It seems powerful enough to carry out its duty. 4-stars.There are various types of filters; you should upgrade to a polyester one. AND if you're on a well with iron, build your own.DURABILITY: The sides and bottom are very sturdy. I believe it will be alright as long as it is not pierced or on rocks. The sides do, however, cave in further if you're not level, and the circular pool becomes more oval-shaped. We live in Minnesota, so I'm not sure how it will fare throughout the winter months when stored. I believe it will be okay if we thoroughly clean and dry it before wrapping it up.ADDITIONAL SUGGESTIONS: Purchase the chemicals, test strips, and a pool vacuum in advance. I believe that Intex sells a vacuum kit. Make a plan. Our children ADORE this pool. We will be pleased if it persists for two summers. Every day they are there. 8, 6, and 5 years old. Nowadays, there are so many poor quality toys that youngsters lose interest. We have found that keeping kids entertained during the hot summer days when school is out has been made possible by this pool. Although we don't regret anything, we wish our site had been better planned. Additionally, if I had to do it over, I would probably purchase the Intex pool with the strong sides. This soft-sided one turns more oblong and oval, which I find objectionable. It cannot be filled any deeper than 3 to 3.5 feet due to this.We do suggest it.

As stated by a prior reviewer, "The pool is the perfect size for relaxing and cooling off. There is space for a few adults to sit and watch some children play." I've owned it for four summers. I don't have much flat space, but little I do have is ideal. The water heats up quickly and stays warm due to its small size. My four kids adore it. The two of us adore it. I find it incredible that it has lasted four years of rigorous use without leaking. My kids beat it to death and invite their friends over to do the same. We are on our second pump after the first one died after three years. You must add chlorine daily; else, the pool will get hazy and disgusting.UPDATE: Well, our pool started to develop holes after six seasons of use. A sluggish seep was the first one, and a pinhole was the second. I repaired them both (one on the outside and the other from the inside and under water). When I tried to set it up this spring, the hoses were fractured, so I bought some inexpensive ones. We're planning to replace it with another after the summer is through since I can see weak patches in other locations where the sun strikes it. Thankfully, the swim season is almost over.

Even for a 5'7" girl with extremely long legs, the large size is enormous! It is fantastic and instantly caught fire. The electric air inflator operated without a hitch. Unfortunately, it does not fit in my shower space, even though I ordered it to replace a tub I don't have. For a very long time, it did smell like plastic, and I had to constantly air it out. There are only three or four photos that serve as directions instead of written instructions. If you plan to use it indoors, you might want to measure it first and then double-check the exterior dimensions because after it is full, the siding extends an additional 3 to 4 inches on each side and both ends, taking up even more space. You can call and inquire, like I did after the fact, if the measurements they provide are for inside the tub or outside. I don't know.
Inflatables can lose air in cold weather, but it is not necessarily a cause for concern. The air inside the inflatable will contract as the temperature drops, causing the inflatable to deflate slightly. This is perfectly normal and will not affect the structural integrity of the inflatable.
If you're looking for an easy way to patch up an inflatable pool, Flex Seal is a good option. This rubberized coating can be applied directly to the leak, and it will quickly dry to create a watertight seal. Flex Seal can also be used to repair holes and cracks in the pool's vinyl liner.
If you have a hole in your inflatable pool, the best way to cover it is with a patch kit. You can purchase a patch kit at your local hardware store.
You can keep your inflatable pool clean by using a pool cover, keeping the area around the pool clean, and by using the right chemicals.
Inflatable pools are a great option for those who want to enjoy the summer without spending a lot of money. However, inflatable pools don't last forever. Here's a look at how long inflatable pools typically last. Inflatable pools are made from a variety of materials, including PVC, vinyl, and polyester. These materials all have different lifespans, so the lifespan of an inflatable pool will depend on the material it's made from. PVC inflatable pools tend to be the most durable, with an average lifespan of 5-7
A pop up pool can last for many years if it is properly cared for. However, the average lifespan of a pop up pool is about 5 to 7 years.
