I'm really happy with this blanket. We have frequently used it during soccer matches and at parks. The fields have been wet some mornings, so the base material keeps you dry, and the top is quite plush and cozy to sit on. We once utilized it as a cover when it started to drizzle a little during one of the games; I was able to sit under it with two of my kids and we stayed warm. Since there is an additional surface to sit on without sitting on a strap, the absence of the strap is not a problem for me as it would be for others.

It will be useful for my family's outings to the zoo, beach, picnics, soccer games, etc. It is compact and portable without being heavy or cumbersome. This was a wise investment! We adore the blanket's size, its softness and comfort for sitting, and the fact that it is waterproof on the bottom. It genuinely poured rain when we utilized it for the first time last week at an outdoor performance. Since the Scuddle was waterproof on the bottom, we really utilized it to cover our food and chairs. The Scuddle's blanket side was dry, and none of our belongings ever got wet. Even though the ground was wet, we lay it back out after the rain stopped and continued to enjoy the performance on a wonderful, dry blanket. Additionally, it never leaked through the bottom. It really saved us a ton of room in comparison to having to carry old blankets in our arms all rolled up and cumbersome, plus we got wonderful compliments on the color. We placed this order just before leaving for Hawaii. We previously used a blanket, but we knew we needed something that would function reasonably well because the sand would gather on it (and wouldn't come out easy). Even after reading the evaluations, I had some reservations about the purchase, but boy was I mistaken! This blanket doesn't hold on to sand after use (just give it a couple of light shakes), is incredibly lightweight, portable, and durable (we placed it on top of a section of the beach where there were a lot of broken shells and other beach items and after picking it up and dusting it off - it was like new)!In all honesty, this was the best investment we made on our trip. And given that we traveled for two weeks and packed three suitcases, I'd say it's saying a lot.

I had to refer to the folding directions the first few times I used it. After folding it a few times, it gets relatively simple to do without looking at the directions. I appreciate how soft the side you sit on is. More supple than it appears, it The fact that it is waterproof is great. I set it up on wet sand, but almost no moisture has leaked through to the other side. It looks incredibly crisp, and I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into making it. It is really neatly crafted, with straight and equal stitches. I appreciate that certain picnic recipes have been included. That surprised me in an unexpected way. Even the box it comes in is appealing to me. It appears like a present and is lovely.It bothers me that the portion you sit on is visible when it is folded. I truly wish it was reversed because even simply keeping it in my trunk is causing some damage. It bothers me that the manufacturer advises hand-spot cleaning. A picnic blanket, that is. Food will inevitably spill on it. It should, in my opinion, be machine washable. It bothers me that it's smaller than it appears to be. Additionally, I dislike the way it is shrink-wrapped. Although the shrink wrap is thick and heavy, with a broad band of extra, and looks like the kind you find on marinated meat, the box and wrap-around label are still very appealing. If you intend to give this as a gift, it seriously detracts from it. Additionally, once opened, it stretches too much to fit neatly inside the box again.Overall, I do enjoy this blanket and would suggest it because I believe the positives outweigh the negatives. But I'm afraid I can't give it five stars.
