We bought this pool to replace the kiddie pools you can buy at Walmart, which we have bought two of every year for the past three years (though I applaud those that do because I read them before I purchase). They are fantastic, but they can't withstand the sweltering summer temperatures in Arizona. Nevertheless, this pool is sturdy and far finer than we had anticipated. There was plenty of area for our grandson to play and splash around even after my husband, a huge guy, entered it with him. I do advise you to purchase a pump. We didn't first because many people said they were only using the floats (which we also use), but because our grandsons spend every day in the pool, it soon became foggy. As suggested by others, we purchased a 1000 gallon pump. As previously said, use a chlorine floater to keep the pool sparkling. If I had to pick just one thing wrong, it would be my experience with the company's customer service. We only needed one t-joint, so it wasn't a big deal. I called to order one, but the person who answered the phone insisted I didn't have an Intex pool because she couldn't locate the model number in her database. I argued that I was looking at the box and had gotten her phone number from the Intex instruction manual, and that it wouldn't make sense for me to call her for a part for a different brand of pool that probably wouldn't work with Now that I've received it, everything is "swimmingly" perfect.

Was a little hesitant to get one of these, but not any longer. My five-year-old daughter adores it, and it is the ideal size for her. I don't even feel like a giant in a mud puddle when I get in it with her, haha. There have been no complaints about the durability and they are far superior to the inflatable pools from past years. I bought the swimming pool without a filter and afterwards bought the Intex Krystal Clear 1000 GPH filter pump from Amazon.com. The 330 GPH pump that is offered with some options would be almost worthless with this pool, thus I propose that pump as a MINIMUM.With the exception of problems aligning the pins with the bottom holes and forgetting the protection rings the first time, which required me to reinstall each pin, assembly was not challenging for me alone. It was simple to put up the filter, and I do suggest purchasing the deluxe pool maintenance package with wall-mount skimmer. I'm already thinking about switching to a saltwater system, but I'll probably hold off until the next season because I purchased the chlorine from Lowe's. BTW, it took about 13 oz. of the 1 Gal. chlorine solution I paid about $4 for from Lowe's to achieve the ideal chlorine level. Prior to adding the chlorine, it was necessary to balance the pH by using pH UP.Consider the following if, like me, you are brand-new to pool ownership: you'll need something under the pool for padding and protection. I didn't put any sand down for leveling because I built up my pool on a brick patio. At HF, I discovered four packs of 1/2" thick interlocking foam mats marketed as "anti-fatigue" mats for $6.99 each. These mats measure 25" square as opposed to the majority of exercise mats, which measure 24". To cover the area for the pool, you need 7 packs, but I ordered enough to cover a 10' x 20' area because I'm constructing a ShelterLogic 10' × 20' canopy with screen sides over the pool and making a space for the adults to relax while keeping an eye on the youngsters ($265 on Amazon). Anyhow, the foam cushions worked fantastically and provide just the right amount of cushioning for walking underneath the pool. The Intex Deluxe Kit comes with a telescopic pole, a large mesh skimmer (you can also acquire a tiny mesh skimmer from Lowe's or somewhere else), and a pool vacuum that connects to your filter's intake port in the pool.You'll probably need a ladder for them too if you have kids, which I'd presume you have if you buy a pool this size. Despite being tall for her age, my 5-year-old daughter had trouble getting in and out over the 30" sides. Although the Intex 42" ladder ($48 on Amazon) is solid enough for children, it lacks a platform between the top steps, so I had to install one to make my daughter feel at ease using the ladder. I've ordered two of these pools, including this one. I had to take one down for the winter last year that I had purchased. I put it back up this summer, and as I had been advised, the lining leaked. Since it was practically the same price as just a replacement liner, I ultimately decided to buy a second pool that was identical to the first. Where the drain hole is, the second pool, which was in this order, had a very sluggish leak. I put a Flex Tape patch within the pool and plugged the drain hole with silicone. I'll need to use a pump if I need to drain it (which I have).Aside from that, I adore this tiny pool!! On a bright afternoon, it is the ideal size to float around in a lounge chair. I can accommodate myself and one other person comfortably on lounge chairs, and we both have space to move around without displacing any water.The pump/filter that does come with this model is not very good, but this one didn't have one. I ultimately upgraded to a sand filter, and so far a chlorine tablet dispenser that I placed in the smallest aperture has kept the water balanced and clear. I've only ever had to shock it once, when I filled it.

In order to bring this tiny slice of paradise to my property, you'll see this review for the other things I bought. I recently left the military, so of course I started doing all the housework that I never had the energy or time for. I discovered this 10' diameter Intex pool when I realized I had an area of yard large enough to put something there. It arrived in good condition, but assembly was a typical pain in the rear (I don't read directions until after the fact.../flex). Overall, it was well put together. I filled it up and got the pump going (it's a shoddy pump, but it'll do for now; I'll improve sooner or later). I purchased the 10' Intex solar cover, and it fits well (solar - funny, suddenly blue bubble wrap is solar?). It kept the twigs and leaves out. I'm not sure if he warms the water in any way. I'm a central Texas resident. Warm weather is expected anyway.The pool is amazing, then. 30" deep, ideal for lounging. I positioned my small camping table next to it. I purchased a Bluetooth speaker from HB Illumination for my phone. It's supposed to float, however when it's in the water, the sound is awful. A few days later, I installed the Coleman 15x13 screened tent canopy. It fits just right. Enough space to cover the pump and camping table as well as to enclose my miniature step ladder. It's simple to put together the Coleman tent, but MAKE SURE THE POLES ARE ON THE OUTSIDE! I had a brain dump after reading that review earlier. When I finally reached the final pole and was unable to force it to lock into place, I began to curse the existence of humanity. Yes, there are poles outside, poles outside, poles outside. Like I said, it perfectly covers the pool and has two zipper entries. keeps insects out. You can spend your beautiful summer evenings lying in a pool, listening to crickets and frogs (or, in my city's case, traffic), and simply relaxing the stress away if you purchase a camping LED light or lantern that emits the yellow/bug blind light.Therefore, unless I amend this assessment, I firmly advise anyone thinking about purchasing either this pool or the Coleman screen tent. good acquisitions

Before returning to this pool, the XTR 24x12, we ordered three more ones. The smaller 18x9 and two rounds were also included. We ultimately decide to order this one. Delivery went smoothly and easily! Despite being heavy, the box arrived in good shape. Not harmed.Before even considering putting this pool in, you must level the ground. We leveled as best we could using a skidder that we leased. Sand was applied after the grading, followed by rock dust. Although some people advise against using sand or rock dust, without them we could never have leveled the land. Even the local pool company, who uses rock dust in their commercial pools, praised it. It took around 4 days to finish leveling.After working tirelessly for many hours to level the ground, we were eventually able to erect the pool. We not only put a thicker felt layer underneath the ground cover when we laid it down. Given that the ground cover is a very thin sheet, If you've used rock dust or have a rocky region, it is strongly advised to use something other than ground cover.Although the instructions recommended attaching the side poles one at a time, we installed all of them at once before slipping them into the sleeve. This, after they're put into the sleeve, makes connecting them almost impossible.Assembly took my husband and I (I'm pregnant) around 1.5 hours. If I can do it at six months pregnant, it is really simple and doable.After putting the pool together, we began filling it.It is crucial to keep an eye on the legs as the pool fills and to ensure that the ground is level to prevent the legs from buckling. Using two water hoses, it took around 11 hours to fill the pool. The corner L pieces must also shift around to accommodate the filling pool; they cannot fit in a specific grove. Our failure to pay attention to the corner L pieces was a grave error. These move as the pool fills, and one end nearly popped out, causing the pool to collapse and maybe rip just as it was getting close to being fully filled. Watch the L corner brackets when filling to make sure they don't slip all the way into one side! The pool had a massive bow in the centre as a result of one corner doing that, but we were able to correct the L bracket by tapping it with a rubber hammer.The pool bowed in until it was full—and by full, I mean filled to the sleeve's line—on either side. Because it was taking so long to straighten out, we began to worry.Use pavers under each leg if you use sand or if you are installing on a soft surface. The legs have sunk into the sand since we neglected to do this. And until we go to winterize it for the winter in the fall, we won't be able to fix this. Given how long it took to assemble the pool, level the sand and rock dust, we are taking a danger by leaving it up all winter.The pool's included pump is really effective. It should perform well and hold up well, in my opinion. The sand we purchased only cost $15 for the pump!Overall, this pool is fantastic! Somewhat expensive, but definitely worth it. This is the pool to acquire if you're thinking about buying one! Choose the 24x12 if you can't decide between the 18x9 and it! I think the 18x9 would be too little because it's such a fantastic size!

Given that it is 4 feet square and has a height of one foot, this makes a great pool for our two ducks. My husband installed the plumbing so that we can quickly refill it with a hose after emptying it daily. Its included corner bottom drain plug was weak and too small, thus it had to be changed. This pool has endured a lot from us, including our construction of a duck house around it and our going inside of it to clean it. Given that our entire coop design kind of rely on this pool, we did go ahead and get a spare even though it looks to be rather sturdy. Loved by the ducks! With the exception of the tiny drain plug in the corner, assembly was simple and the product is of decent quality. So far, we heartily endorse!Revision: July 2, 2017It's still in excellent condition, and cleaning it is simple (with vinegar). The drain plug was ultimately redone with a superior drain system. When we removed the old plug, it didn't rip, and it held up to all the twisting required to install the new plug. The ducks like having unlimited access to their pool! One of our favorite Amazon purchases. No issues have arisen, and our family finds it enjoyable. The height is ideal for my 2.5-year-old. Put concrete pavers under each support bracket, is the only piece of advice. We drained the pool and put the pavers after our poles began to sink into the ground. The pool is not at fault.It arrived in flawless condition. We purchased a skimmer and filter set from Bestway, and it performs admirably. The water has been crystal clean even though I only use chlorine pills in a floater. Only regret is that I didn't get it when it initially became available for $150 instead I waited and payed $199. Because it's worth the money and doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon, I'm good with it.

adore it I said I'd never acquire an above-ground pool after having in-ground pools in all of my homes but this one. I'm surprised by how much I adore Intex pools. The 10' inflatable one was a gift from my daughter last summer when I underwent hip surgery. It was incredible and greatly aided my healing! But this year, it started to leak a little, so I decided to switch to this one with the metal frame. partially due to the metal frame's ease of leveling. Finding level ground was difficult with the inflatable pool. As the pool filled, it continued attempting to roll down the yard because mine wasn't quite level. You won't be let down by the 10' frame pool, though. It is both sufficiently deep and enough large. The filter is also fantastic! My pool stays crystal clear because I use 3" Clorox tablets in a floater and run my filter for a few hours every day. adore it adore it

Fantastic Pool! We made the decision to upgrade to a bigger pool and are really pleased with it. I appreciate that this pool is rectangular since it provides more swimming room than a circular pool. The actual size of this after assembly truly startled us. It wasn't difficult to put together. It's a Lot! Our local fire department filled it for us, and they were quite pleased with it.
