After reading conflicting opinions of the shorter lengths, I decided to get the Long edition. I can say that the long form will have dependable storage even though the shorter version would make for a more attractive display. The drywall mounts perform admirably.I've discovered that the long bracket can support a snowboard and a pair of skis simultaneously. You can see that I split the pair of skis in the pictures. This was done more so to get the board to fit snugly against the ceiling than it was to spread the weight. When you add one or two skis to a heavy men's board with heavy flow bindings, there is a slight amount of flex. I increased the bend by applying more pressure, yet the bracket seemed firmly anchored in the wall. After being released and the skis taken off, the bracket arm was straight once more.In conclusion, these brackets are strong enough to support heavy board layouts.

Once fitted, the rack is well made and accommodates both my kite and surfboards. The wall space is utilised very effectively, and the holders are easily movable to accommodate various board thicknesses.I did run into a problem when mounting the rack on the cinder block wall in my garage. The holder arms could not fit because the Tapcon anchors protruded from the mounting holes on the track. To get the arms to sit flush, I had to use a grinder to adjust them. It seems that the rack was only intended to be used with the wood screw anchors that were included, which isn't much help for a concrete wall.

Outstanding value; it took my snowboard some time to hang on the wall without difficulty after sitting on the ground and rubbing against it. I can see a lot of scarring scars on the rubber after removing it a few times, and they also flex a little. Perhaps a little tougher rubber would be preferable. however, wonderful item all around.

This wall mount solution is the ideal way to both store and show your board. Your love for the design plays a significant role in the decision-making process in addition to acquiring a board that is the appropriate size and shape for your riding style, so why not spread the word about it? The basic style of this mount doesn't detract from the aesthetics of your board. It's incredibly simple to install; I only needed a drill, pencil, tape measure, and laser level, though that was probably overkill. The wall anchors firmly hold themselves in place after drilling through the wall. Before attaching the screws to the wall anchors, I placed the screws into the rubber mounts so that the tip could be seen from the opposite side. This seemed to be the simplest way to guarantee accurate alignment. There is no concern about my board falling off the wall as it is on show.

Others criticize the thin plastic. Although it is fragile from side to side, it offers the up-and-down strength required to support your equipment (which is most relevant). This took me five minutes to install after I located the wall studs, and it is functional.The breadth of your snowboard and the thickness of your equipment are two things to consider. With one snowboard and two pairs of skis, I was able to make this work. Since the bindings required the space, the board HAD to be on top. Additionally, my snowboard is NOT a wide-sized board. If it were, I'm not sure if it would fit well because it would be too wide (i.e. it might fall out). The two sets of skis are heavy and have large bindings, so I had to skew the skis slightly in order for the bindings to fit. In other words, the space available for each piece of equipment is somewhat limited, especially if you're attempting to fit three bulky items within. But overall, it's a nice product for the $20 asking price.

Overall, a good product, especially considering the cost. The bindings of the upper pair of downhill skis force them up off the rack arms because there is not enough room for them to pass each other when placing numerous pairs on the rack. To allow space for the bindings to overlap, stagger the ski pairs left or right. To clear the bindings of the skis above and below, you must shift each pair of skis quite a distance to the left or right. If symmetry and a neat appearance are important to you, go for it. This would not be a problem if there were simply an additional 2" between the rack arms. The plastic has a thin feeling to it. But once more, the product is an excellent buy at this pricing.

For my surfboards, I purchased this board rack. Both a surfboard rack and a snow board rack are offered by this merchant, but the "snow board" rack included free shipping. The rails were simple to insert into two studs. The racks were inserted into the rails and pounded firmly into place. They appear to be strong enough to support my surfboards and bog boards, which made it easier to remove them from the garage floor. Because there aren't many metal board racks, I would definitely purchase again. The rubber casing on the rails isn't firmly secured, so if the board is slid forward, the rubber may come off. This is the only drawback. It's simple to put it back where it belongs.
