Ha.I then used this to make a fantastic batch of hummus. The only way to accomplish so is with a top-notch tahini; it lends just the proper elusive note. Although a 16-ounce jar isn't excessive, it should be kept chilled because anything with a high oil content that lacks preservatives is susceptible to going rancid, especially in higher temperatures. Tahini in the jar is already at a lower level than one batch of hummus ought to make it. Could it be because I sample it so frequently? If you're curious, it has a peanut butter-like consistency with a distinctly sesame flavor.Finally, if you're concerned about how Amazon will transport a glass jar, you should know that a diligent worker completely wrapped mine in bubble wrap and taped it shut. Please be aware that this will ruin your experience with all other tahitian brands—at least the ones I've tried. Having said that, I just completed my first jar and it was wonderful. There are just two kinds I can get locally, and one of them is pretty awful. The other is okay, but it costs way too much for the quality.
