About an hour and a half ago, I carried in this gift from my doorstep and, out of curiosity, chose to test one right away. I'd read in the reviews and descriptions that you could clean with with water. This is real.Although it is lovely, our cast iron sink with white enamel becomes caked with black filth as a result of cleaning our skillets, pots, and especially other cast iron. When cleaning the kitchen, I typically avoid going near the sink. If it's especially terrible, as it was today, it can take 30 minutes of cleaning with a combination of sponges, wire, and paper towels. I had the impression that I was a living infomercial. If I hadn't experienced it for myself, I would have assumed it was a scam. The rust and black residue were removed with just one pass of the wet sponge. I made the decision to test it out on other objects after taking these photographs. It removed oil off the oven and stovetop, as well as the red hair color stain on our bathtub.To see how far I could get with just one sponge, I finally caved in and cleaned one of my baths. This product saved my life and money, therefore I had to give it a review. We purchased the house eight years ago, and the bathroom is the only room that hasn't been updated. I'm in the process of selling my house. The bathtub actually dates back to the 1970s. It arrived shiny and glazed, and it was advised to just re-glaze it to sell this time. With two children, myself, and my husband, the soap scum accumulated over time and became out of hand. I tried everything as maintenance, including different scrubbers, cleaning supplies, brillo pads, and an electronic brush that cost $40.00 but wasn't guaranteed to operate. The next option was a razor blade, but I found these on Amazon and because they had outstanding reviews, I decided to give them a try for $20. Although I disagree that they made the process simple—I still had to use a lot of force—they DO, in fact, work. The pads did crumble very easily, but I believe that's really because my tub needs a lot more tender loving care and washing! No big thing; the bundle included 8 of them, so I have plenty to go around! They work SO WELL that I'm not even deducting a star for it. I had never tried one of these Mr. Clean sponges, but I read online that it could be able to remove some of my tough stains. This was my final shot because I had tried every recipe I could find online, attempted powerful ready-made stain removers, and still had no success. I had been coloring my grout black to make the white tiles appear to be subway tiles. With the exception of a few tiles with paint that didn't wipe back to a clear white, everything worked out okay. When these were delivered, I immediately walked over to the bathroom's subway tiles, crossing my fingers. It truly resembled a miracle. I felt such a sense of relief when the tiles started to look nice.
