The guest towels have a throwaway linen quality, which we really like. We frequently observe that after washing our hands, we must dry them with a towel that someone else has previously used when we visit someone else and use their bathroom. That is not enjoyable. UPDATE: February 2018These are currently stacked in the master bathroom. I've learned that I don't like constantly using/washing hand towels! These have served as placemats, dinner napkins, and even for cleaning! They recycle (almost guilt-free) and I anticipate having to order more much sooner than I had anticipated. Still very pleased with the diverse product I bought.I enjoy entertaining, but I grew weary of always needing to wash a load of hand towels. I chose to provide them instead of the "linen" paper towels because I had seen them at a few more upscale restaurants that I had been to. My best concept of the year! These are comfortable, recyclable, and users won't have to worry about using a towel that has already been used. In actuality, my ordering 200 is the only drawback I can think of. Why did I think that? I have a lot of towels to last me a long time!

They may not be the cheapest option, but they strike the perfect balance between quality and price.The napkins might be a little on the small side (they are folded in quarters, so when you fully unfold the napkin, there is one crease vertically and one wrinkle horizontally), but I think that depends on what you are used to. Technically, they are two-ply since you can separate them, but at that point, they become quite thin and are probably no longer functional (see pic for size and thickness elaboration).I've used larger, thicker napkins before, but these are an excellent "Goldilocks" mid-range purchase.Thickness: (1 being very thin, 10 being the thickest) (1 being very thin, 10 being the thickest) They could be a 3 or 4, if I had to guess.Price: moderate (see breakdown below)Size: can cover your lap but is smaller than the dinner napkins I am used to.Due to their thinness, they are good at absorbing liquids, but they are not paper towels.In the previous two years, I've bought this brand three times, and the quantity and cost appear to change occasionally. I used to always purchase inexpensive napkins. When I first saw these Bounty napkins, I resisted buying them. They appeared to be an expensive terrible deal. When my husband complained one day about how our napkins usually fell apart and you had to use more than one, he finally convinced me to give in. I now only purchase Bounty napkins. They are just outstanding! They are sturdy, thick, and effectively absorbent. These are poles apart from other brands and off-brands available on the market. I returned both the placemats and the napkins since the colour didn't work, so I can't really comment on the napkin itself. I required a more vivid yellow. We have been using Vanity Fair napkins for a very long time. Although they are not quite as soft or absorbent as they once were, they remain by and away the best cost paper napkins for everyday usage. Since I paid a bit less for them through Prime Pantry than I had been spending locally and they were delivered to my door, I will keep purchasing them as long as this is the case. I would advise utilizing napkins from the Vanity Fair "Impressions" collection if you are hosting a nice or formal event but still want disposable napkins.
