Colloidal Oatmeal Dog Shampoo with Pure Lavender Essential Oils - No Tear Shampoo for Dry Itchy Skin Relief - Pet Odor Eliminator - Grooming Shampoo Review:

This shampoo SAVED my sanity!!!! After using this sulfuric-like paste on my dog’s fur to help the hair grow back I quickly regretted it because I could NOT get rid of the smell. I tried everything. I bought 2 different shampoos (not cheap ones, either) and neither could eliminate the smell. The odor was so strong that I could smell it on my furniture, in my car and everywhere my dog went- it was terrible! I was about to throw in the towel (literally) until I found this shampoo. I read the reviews and thought it had to be too good to be true but for the price compared to going to a groomer was a steal. So I ordered it and expected to alleviate some of the odor after a few washes. Let me just say that after only ONE wash with this shampoo (given with a generous lather) the odor was GONE! Not just a little less or masked, but completely gone!! I was so happy I instantly ordered another bottle just to have for when this one ran out. I recommend this shampoo to anyone and everyone. It even came in handy after a trip Upstate when my dogs both decided to roll in deer poop! Anyone with a dog cannot live without this product. 5 stars all around.

Fresh 'n Clean Scented Shampoo Review:

I used to use this on my Border Collie and Great Pyrenees for years. Then I adopted a Golden Doodle and decided I needed more of a tangle/mat shampoo. I tried numerous shampoos and noticed after a few days she would stink or just have an outdoor odor. I bought deodorant sprays for in between and would have to use it almost daily. I finished up those bottles and bought this again. Wow! What a difference it makes on her. It's been 4 days and she still smells fresh and clean. Her fine curly coat is soft and shiny as well. I'll never switch again. Here I thought it was just her and no scent would stay on her. I was missing my Pyr and BCs coat and smell. But it IS the shampoo. It's wonderful.
On the down side, it did come with the top popped and the lid loose, leaked about 1/8th out of the bottle and plastic they wrapped it in. It isn't fully Amazons fault, the Manufacturer should seal the top but Amazon could do better in sealing it as well. So they get 1/2 of the blame. I'll try and find this one in the stores. Pet store chains do carry this. Too bad, Because it is a better value buying from Amazon, but not if you lose some of it.
Love! Don't every change it.

Dechra Miconahex + Triz Pet Shampoo Review:

I am a veterinarian who, at the moment, is on a much needed sabbatical. A friend's dog developed a skin irritation due to contact with grasses and weeds during the spring and summer. I know professionally that irritation quickly can become a bacterial skin infection or less likely, a yeast infection of the skin especially if the pet is licking and chewing the affected areas of skin. Since, I have no access to veterinary products at the moment I went to a national, corporate veterinary chain that is owned by a candy company!! I won't say who. Ok, it was the infamous 'Banfield'!!! They would not sell me this shampoo because they called it a 'prescription'. BULL! They wanted nearly $200 to 'diagnose' before they would sell me this shampoo. When I told the receptionist who clearly would rather not be helping me that I was a veterinarian, she looked at me like I was full of 'something not so good'. My advise: Lather this shampoo into your dog's coat paying attention to the groin (inguinal) and arm pits (axillae) and the obvious problem areas. Then leave on for at least 10 minutes, then rinse with tepid water. Use every 3-4 days. If no improvement get to a trusted veterinarian who may or may not be 'corporate'.

Curaseb Antifungal & Antibacterial Chlorhexidine Shampoo for Dog & Cats - Treats Yeast Infections, Ringworm, Pyoderma & Skin Allergies – Broad Spectrum Veterinary Formula Review:

I wanted to actually use this product for a good amount of time before leaving a review. It's been about a month now and figured that it was time. This review may get lengthy for some so, before I lose your interest, I'll just say up front that I LOVE this product and HIGHLY recommend it.

For years, and I'm actually sad and angry to even say that, our pug has been dealing with what we thought were seasonal allergies. He had been in and out of the vets office multiple times a year for treatment. Treatment that would include a combo of any or all of the following: antibiotics, steroids, allergy meds, creams, eye drops/creams, shampoos, etc. All of which were very expensive! Often he'd get crusty around his face/folds and under his chin. Sometimes the wrinkles around his eyes would be so inflamed that it would affect his eyes until they were partially closed! And he always had this one black spot on his front right leg/paw that he would lick and chew at constantly!!! All day and night it would be nothing but incessant licking and chewing! Waking my husband and I up out of a dead sleep! And he had that constant "Frito" smell that some say pugs have. And of course the shaking of the head and the gunk in his ears. We had been treating his ears for years with special wash from the vet and medicine until last year when they gave him an Oti Pack treatment which FINALLY seemed to take care of the persistent problem.

About 1.5 years ago the vet changed his food to a prescription brand for his weight. It's also around this time that I started looking on the internet for other things that could be plaguing my dog, or at the very least, look for some other treatments to try for his allergies. But much of the info I was reading led me to believe that my dog had a yeast infection/allergy. I assumed his prescription food was free from anything that would affect that. So I took him off that food after about 8 months and started making my own food for him to be sure that he was free of any grains and whatnot. I also stopped giving him almost all treats or at least only gave him stuff like duck or chicken jerky that had no added ingredients. I thought I was doing everything right but still, the licking/biting/crust/furless black spot persisted. But, from the things I was reading, it sounded like the yeast infection could just be persistent and not going away because it had NOT been properly treated/dealt with. Even if he was eating better. But how could I treat it and finally get rid of it once and for all, I wondered.

By this time I had already been through tons of medicines, home remedies, vet visits, different foods, tried different sprays, shampoos, etc. I was at my whits end. I still wondered, was it seasonal allergies? Yeast? Dust mite allergy? Fleas (even tho he was being treated for that regularly too)? Etc! I just didn't know what to think. At one point we even wondered if the black spot and licking was being done out of boredom. So again I took to the internet, and Amazon, looking for more info/help or yet another shampoo that would HOPEFULLY help my poor baby. That's when I came across this product.

Of course I rolled my eyes when reading the description and was skeptical because all the others had promised the same thing and also had good reviews and yet they gave no positive results. I was torn on whether to waste more money or just give ONE MORE thing a try. So I bought it.

After I ordered it I got an email explaining how I should use it. I did as it said and bathed my dog once a day every other day for the first week. I then bathed him two times a week for the next two weeks. This past week he's only been bathed once with the shampoo so far. Each time I let the shampoo sit on his body for 10 or more minutes after lathering him up real good. Lucky for me he loves bathes and water. LOL

The first thing I noticed after his first bath was his smell!! That Frito smell had totally disappeared and only after his first bath. Something that NEVER happened with any of the other shampoos I had tried. This stuff smells so good going on and lasts even when he's fully dry. The second thing I noticed that first night was the fact that our dog slept through the night WITHOUT licking or chewing his foot! Something he hadn't done for years!!! The next thing I noticed was the shedding. Much like I was told how pugs always smell like Fritos, I was also told they shed like crazy. Well, the shedding has almost completely stopped too!! I used to run my hand along his back to pet him and come away with a handful of fur. Not anymore!

The black spot on his foot is also finally starting to heal and is going away and the fur is coming back (as seen in the pic)! No more crusty face, or anything! This stuff is totally amazing!! Everything has drastically improved with our dog and I'm so sorry I hadn't come across this stuff years ago! To think of all the needless suffering my poor baby has had to go through. He is now sleeping through the night without waking to lick and is no longer scratching/biting/licking his feet. I most definitely will be buying more. I'm also gonna be buying the ear wash/treatment as an added "just in case". I can't say enough good things about this. I will also post a photo that shows the difference in his foot from the first day until now.

It's amazing! In the past as soon as you would approach our dog you'd either smell Fritos and/or Fritos and just yuk from his ears and face. Poor thing. Now, your nose can be right in his fur and all you smell is the very light scent left behind from the shampoo or nothing at all! AMAZING!!!

YES! I HIGHLY recommend this shampoo. I am so thankful for it!

No rinse necessary.

Caution: External use only. For use on dogs or cats only. Avoid contact with eyes and internal consumption. Although rare, an allergic reaction is possible. If irritation occurs, stop use. Keep away from children.

I purchased the Lavender Chamomile which is a light, pleasant fragrance.
After applying the foam to the palms of my hands, I began stroking my dog along her sides and back. Within seconds, my hands were coated with a layer of dirt, which proves that this product does what it's supposed to: dirt and debris binds to it. I followed up with a damp towel.
My dog just loves rolling in the dirt, so I'm happy to find an easy-to-use product which will help to keep her clean between baths.

Earthbath All Natural Pet Shampoo Review:

Best shampoo out there for dogs with allergies hands down! I have an american pit bull who's literally allergic to almost everything. In fact the vet is convinced he's even allergic to grass (I'm not paying over $300 to find out) he digs and scratches and eats his feet constantly to the point he'll actually make himself bleed and has gotten numerous skin infections. I've had to keep a bottle of steroids on hand to keep him from digging and biting until I found this shampoo. It lathers up very nicely and cleanses his coat throughly without overdrying or leaving any residue. I can always tell he feels better after getting a bath. He gets numerous compliments on how gorgeous his coat is. I no longer have to worry about him licking biting and digging himself to the point of drawing blood since finding this shampoo. Sure he still does some because it obviously doesn't cure the allergy but I truly cannot live without this shampoo! If you have a pit with skin allergies give this shampoo a try. You will NOT be disappointed. Our vet can't believe the difference. She wanted to put him on prescription medication for the rest of his life until I found this shampoo. It smells absolutely wonderful also!

Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiparasitic and Antiseborrheic Medicated Shampoo for Dogs (16 oz Bottle) Review:

I've been fighting severe dandruff with my 13-year-old chihuahua for a few years - with veterinarian-directed treatments. The dog had not wanted me to pet or hold her much anymore, which I assumed was because of her arthritis and chronic slipped disc in her neck (treated with daily pain meds and muscle relaxers), and due to being an elderly dog. In desperation at the flaky mess that recently increased again (her dandruff seems to get worse whenever her arthritis seems to be worse), I tried this shampoo and even my veterinarian was impressed with how much my dog's coat cleared up after just the first use!! After the third shampooing, the dandruff was almost completely gone, even a week later. The best part, though? My dog suddenly wants to be held and petted non-stop!!! I guess her skin irritation was causing enough discomfort previously that she didn't want her skin touched. Now she seems to feel better and her coat looks great!

FURminator deShedding Ultra Premium Dog Shampoo to Reduce Shedding Review:

I have a lab and a corgi. My lab doesn't shed as much as the corgi. He gets a Furminator every 8-12 weeks. My little girl is every 4-6. I was introduced to Furminator at my job at the PetSmart grooming salon. We use it differently at the salon than I can at home. To start we use a velocity dryer to blow out the loose coat then shampoo. I don't have a velocity dryer. (They are expensive) So I just brush before the shampoo. I lather the shampoo thoroughly. You want the hair to squeak when you rinse. The Furminator conditioner is crucial. It is what really releases the undercoat. The shampoo is mostly to prepare the coat. After rinsing the shampoo work the conditioner in. Focus on areas with the densest hair. Typically neck, shoulders, and haunches. Just really work it into the coat. Then you need to let it sit. At least five minutes, but I like to do ten for my hairy little corgi. I use this time to wash the face with a tearless soap and brush the teeth. You can also use a Kong Zoom Groom rubber curry brush to rub the conditioner in, if your dog doesn't have long hair. (Long hair will tangle if you scrub with the zoom groom) Most importantly make sure all the product is out. It can irritate your pet if any is left behind. When your pet is dry I recommend the Zoom Groom for short haired dogs and the Furminator de-shedding tool, an undercoat rake, or coat King/rakke. With the Furminator tool you need to be careful. Do not brush more than three times in one spot. It can give your pet brush burn and/or damage the coat. The same goes for any de-shedding tool. They are great for shedding, but can be overdone. I love this product and highly recommend it. It's not only good for shedding, it's naturally moisturizing because it has omega 3 fatty acids. Very good for dry skinned dogs. Hope this helps!

Wahl Pet Friendly Waterless No Rinse Shampoo for Animals – Oatmeal & Coconut Lime Verbena for Cleaning, Conditioning, Detangling & Moisturizing Dogs, Cats & Horses – 7.1 Oz Review:

I have a border collie and they're only supposed to be washed once every six months or so in order to avoid drying the skin but, as you can imagine, that was hard to do considering BCs have a long top coat, mane, and let's be real: all dogs get smelly and covered in lots of god knows what rather frequently! But I say it WAS hard because now that I have this, the problem has been solved! Smells great and makes her coat look like it's been freshly washed!!! It's super easy and after two full-body uses, I'm just barely a quarter of the way done- so I'd say I'll get at least 5-7 full body "washes" with my medium sized (she's a BIT small for a BC- about 45 lbs) dog before I run out- thereby making this bottle a heck of a lot cheaper than what I'd spend at the groomer- which she HATES! The funny thing is, she even reacts the exact same way after this as she does after a bath: rolling around on the carpet trying to regain her "scent". Sorry doggo! I did it last a few days ago and she still smells great! THANK GOD FOR THIS PRODUCT.

If you have a breed that doesn't benefit from frequent bathing like me, or if your dog gets extreme anxiety in the bath and you'd like to spare him/her from as many as possible- get this! She has a soft silky coat partly from genetics but partly from this too! Her coat definitely has gotten shinier! Comes out as a light foam and a little goes a long way. You just need this and a comb/brush/or fingers!!! BTW- the smell isn't strong or unnatural, either, it just gives a fresh, clean, smell. Thank me later.

Burt's Bees for Dogs Natural Oatmeal Conditioner with Colloidal Oat Flour and Honey Review:

This shampoo will last me forever, as my dog is only 4.5 lbs and it takes very little soap to suds him up. The shampoo doesn't really have much of a scent, which is fine by me. I can't stand perfumey anything and I don't like chemicals on my dog. The product soaps up well and is easy to rinse out. The dog smells fresh and clean. He isn't a smelly dog and only gets a bath once in a great while----after a particularly dusty hike, say.

My tip for easy dog washing: keep saying "bath" to the dog and get him used to that word. Make sure s/he gets plenty of happy voice talk (high-pitched) and lots of little treats: small bits of cheese work well. Let your dog know getting bathed is a good activity that is well rewarded. Soon you will have a dog who doesn't mind being bathed.
