Why finding a nice or larger 10x mirror is so difficult, I have no idea. For tweezing and closeup checks, it is necessary for my aging eyes. I didn't want one of the mirrors—which has only a tiny 10X spot—to be permanently attached to a standard mirror. On my cosmetic vanity, I've had the tiny blue folding Floxite travel one for years, but it's always been too small and difficult for me to set to the correct height. I looked for hours before deciding to give this a shot. I chose this one because it was less expensive because the price actually varies and I didn't care what color the frame was. Folding the stand/handle keeps it steady. It is bigger than my folding mirror and is adjustable so that I may carry it with me on travels if I want to. Years ago, I invested in a large (7 inch diameter), pricey Floxite 15X vanity mirror for serious tweezing, and I kept it next to my home office desk. Although it was initially listed under "Aids for Seniors" when I purchased it, it is now available on Amazon for roughly $45. If you can sit down and need longer tweezing sessions, I definitely recommend this larger mirror. This Folding 10X mirror is ideal for my on-the-go makeup station on top of my tall dresser, along with a lower power mirror for a general view. You don't need to fiddle with fragile battery-operated lit makeup mirrors if you have a great source of light.

I used to use the ordinary side of my double-sided vanity mirror, but my current 10x/1x mirror is so hefty that it's difficult to hold steady long enough to correct my hair. So I made the decision to purchase a vintage hand mirror. Unfortunately, there aren't many stylish options available, and they all have flat handles that can be difficult to hold once you've set anything down. The only mirror I could find with a round handle that was also elegant and convenient to carry is this one. The handle on the black one appeared to be hollow in the photograph, but it is not. It's hefty enough to hold up as I arrange my hair but not too heavy to be uncomfortable. The label, which is a removable "cling-on" piece of plastic, also states that the vendor will replace it if it is broken upon delivery.I'm so happy I bought this! If you're debating getting it, I strongly advise you to do so. I believe you'll be happy. Using a 10X magnification is ideal for doing makeup. It quickly adhered to my enormous dressing table mirror and has held on securely ever since. The light has a lovely white tint and is bright without being blinding. While doing my hair, I frequently use just the light to illuminate the larger mirror. The components comprised of white plastic appear to be well-built and robust. It feels quite stable and turns 360 degrees with ease. (I don't worry that I'll break it because I change the angle for each use.) It arrived with a small cleaning cloth and a black velvet travel case, which are great extras. Although I haven't used it yet, I think it will be ideal when I do. The only drawback I can identify is that I thought it was a tad expensive. (I spent $27.99; nonetheless, I believe $19.99 would have been a better option.) ... However, I am extremely pleased with the purchase and don't regret it. I adore that mirror. To be able to show how disorganised I am when I go outdoors for breaks, all I wanted was something for my desk drawer at work. This is ideal. About the size of a dessert plate. A purple one was mine. Excellent value that in no way seems cheap. In contrast to those cheap funhouse-style mirrors that we have all been forced to use, it is nice and solid and provides an exact perspective. It has a hole at the end for hanging and a nice, strong, non-slip handle. Highly advised.

I can readily see my reflection in the mirror behind me and confirm that everything is set up the way I like it thanks to the size of this mirror. Although I can manage it, the mirror is not the most practical design for storage. There is a hole given if you wish to place it on a wall. Furthermore, I had to return the first one since there was uncleanable "splotching" between the mirror and backing. However, I rated it 4 stars because the second mirror is functioning well for me and is much better than the tiny mirrors I was using.
