My kid had to be transferred out of state for college. Unsure of the extent of the mess I had created, I bought this cart out of the blue one evening using the Amazon App on my iPhone (I was in bed trying to sleep, but fretting about the task ahead). It is a strong small item that unfolds with a toe on the platform and a push of the handle. It folds well as promised. Because I thought something like a laundry basket with sloping out edges wouldn't fit well on the platform, I did stop by Wal Mart and buy a jar of Bunjee Cords. I was correct. In the end, I carried boxes, baskets, a rolled-up mattress topper, a wire record player stand, etc. from the third floor down to my truck using my variously sized cords. I noticed some jealous glances from other parents at my device as I was carrying things easily while others had to schlep their belongings by hand. However, the elevator played a crucial role because the cart struggles with stairs, whether they are going up or down. Having said that, it is an excellent tool to have around for the price. To make it easier to move other oddly shaped objects, I'm considering nailing some plywood to the current platform. When (if) something occurs, more. Wow, I adore it! I'm so glad I took the risk! You already know that I'm a single mother of three young children who doesn't own a car and lives on the third floor of an apartment. Laundry and grocery shopping are both painful chores! I had to make so many journeys back and forth across the street and up and down the stairs to complete my laundry! A sacrifice HAD to be made! My old cart broke as I was lugging groceries up the stairs, leaving me without a cart for approximately a month. The broader bars prevent the bag from sliding between them, but the velcro piece serves as a wonderful substitute and perfectly reaches the plate for my neighborhood's walk-to-store excursions. How much I adore this. I often place orders from Amazon despite being elderly. Since I intend to keep this for a good number of years, I figured the nylon body would help minimize rust issues. However, the nosepiece and the yellow handle are made of metal. I rarely use a cart and have been using a very small folding cart for years. While it is sturdy enough for the things I usually place on it, it only has one handle, which frequently causes loads to slip when reclining. Therefore, even though this cart won't be used frequently, it must be durable. It was arrived without a box or padding and just had a tag stuck to the nose that I was able to remove. It was also covered in a plastic bag. This caught me off guard a bit. I can't complain, though, because it arrived undamaged and in perfect condition.The first step was to carry a large gas grill box inside that weighed 125 pounds. I've only had a chance to use it once, so I don't know how well it will stand up (seems like it will, though). I've used appliance dollies (with straps) to lift full-size lateral file cabinets, but if you're as light and short as I am, you have to get up on the dolly and throw yourself backward to get it slanted and balanced. This load was too big for me to tilt up with the short nose, but because to the angle of the stair gliders and the numerous attachment points they provide, I was able to secure the box to the cart using some cargo straps that I already had. I could tip it back after strapping it; if I had many boxes like this, I may think about getting a nose extension. This specific load had to climb three concrete steps, followed by another step into a tiny lobby. Even though the box is near to my weight, the stair gliders functioned well on the concrete steps, allowing me to roll it up one step at a time. Another benefit is the substantial, sizable wheels. They roll smoothly and hoist the weight over stairs with ease as well, the gliders adding further support. The last surprise came as I crossed the threshold and saw that the cart was slightly out of balance with respect to the inside wall blocking my path. Even though the handle was not in the 4-wheel position when it tipped down into the four-wheel cart position, it was easy to just roll it the remaining distance in the 4-wheel position. That was an unexpected bonus for a move I made that could have hurt the floor or me in a conventional 2 wheel cart because I didn't expect to be able to roll into that position from the 2 wheel upright position. It appears to be a great cart based on my brief experience with it thus far, and I'm really happy with it.

It's a fantastic tool. The flatbed in conversion mode is the main reason I got it. I have a "bum" leg, making me half crippled. The majority of domestic essentials can still be lifted with my arms, but I am unable to carry weight when walking. I use the cart to transport bulky or cumbersome loads from one end of the home to the other, including groceries, garbage, laundry, and supplies. It was quick to arrive and simple to put together. For inquiries or grievances, there is a help line included with the directions. The unexpected part was that an American who speaks native English responded.If it weren't for one item, I would have given this cart five stars. There are simply two crossbars on the flatbed of the cart; there is no actual bed. In order to prevent smaller objects from falling through or off the cart due to a lack of support beneath, I had to rig a bed out of some extra-stiff cardboard that I just so happened to have. Larger items are no problem, but if I need to move a number of smaller items—or even just one that is too heavy to carry—I must either find something to lay across the bed or carefully balance, and that balance typically doesn't last through all the turns necessary to get to the back door or the laundry room. I think I would have been singing a song with much greater enthusiasm if that one item had been different. Although I'm sure this was created with a completely other purpose in mind, that's how it affects me.

The Samsonite Luggage Cart's minimal weight is one of the reasons I bought it. I anticipated the actual item weight to be a little less than the 2.8 pounds shown in the product description as the shipping weight. The cart itself weighs 2.8 pounds, therefore it wasn't.
