It was packaged nicely, however I didn't get to appreciate the brown box I received my Sig Romeo5 Red Dot in because it lacks a serial number and I had to look up the manual online. Only had it for a short while; it only came with the high riser mount, however it easily mounted on an AR 15 and appeared to function properly. I'm going to sight it in tomorrow at the range. I have astigmatism, but it doesn't seem to bother me when I'm wearing my prescription glasses. Without them, I see three horizontal dots that are very close together, but when I'm wearing my glasses, I can insert a bore sight laser and get the red dot to line up with it. did include everything that was shown in online unpacking videos, excluding the handbook. Very excellent quality site, however the packaging makes it feel almost like you're shopping from Wish. I don't like that Sig doesn't include Amazon as an approved dealer, and I'm also a little let down by how the red dot moves when I slightly turn my head. I had a 3 inch grouping within 10 rounds for the first two mags, but it vibrated loose after the first 100 rounds. I may not have tightened it sufficiently the first time, so I'm going back this weekend to try again. Will update this after having a second chance at the range (10/26/19), but everything about it—aside from the fact that it vibrated loose—was amazing, and people there claimed they had never heard of such a thing. I'll loctite it on if it lasts the next 200 rounds without falling free.

I thoroughly researched this dot sight before purchasing it. I looked at SOECs, reviews, and YouTube stress test videos from many different websites. I was as thrilled as a child in a candy store when it finally arrived for me. Simple but complete instructions, a riser cowitness mount connected, a low profile mount in the box, a battery, lens cloth, lens coverings, an adjustment tool, and a mounting tool were all included with the package. Everything was packaged safely in durable foam. The screw on covers of the adjustment knobs can be turned over and used to make the adjustments, which is really cool because the elevation and windage are incredibly simple to modify. The dot is brilliant and rounded, and the lenses are flawlessly clear. Higher indoor settings do cause starburst, but that can be readily avoided. No matter where you install it, it offers a good field of view. The motac continues to excite me. The only limitations or drawbacks of the sight, bearing the price in mind, are that there is a tiny parallax and that the outer lens, facing the target, is reflecting when viewed from an angle. You'll be alright as long as you keep your cheek weld. For mine, I spent $170 on Amazon.

I genuinely enjoy these sights. I'm not one to prefer extra-large or colorful views. All I need are three dots that I can align and will function in dim lighting. These sights are exactly that. The sights flash a bright green color in low-light conditions, making them easy to see for the shooter but invisible to an assailant. You observe a standard sight picture of three white dots when the light is normal.These are better than the factory sights, which is better than what I had anticipated in terms of accuracy. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that because I learnt to shoot with my original Glock's sights. To have the sights installed for me, I did pay a $20 supplemental fee at my neighborhood gun store, and I believe that was a worthwhile investment.Yes, I would suggest these to a friend, and I'll probably soon purchase a new set for my Glock 42.

I'll try to keep this evaluation as succinct as I can. I'm tired and will be going to bed soon to take a nap, so this has nothing to do with the sights negatively. LolInitially, I placed the sights on my rifle and tested them out as usual after receiving them. Turn up. Splash down. Verify any movement, etc. Please be understanding that I'm relying on recollection rather than seeing the sights in front of me.There was hardly any lateral movement. Actually, movement of any kind was essentially nonexistent when deployed! I have backup sights that move much more and were much more expensive than these!The surface has a great, even finish.sights that mounted quickly and safely.Through the aperture, the sight picture was crisp and clear. Really beautiful scenery!Unfortunately, I had to remove them from my rifle before I could visit the range since my scope would not clear the back sight when it was folded down. Just a little bit too tall. The mount was an American defense 30mm mount, and the scope was a Primary Arms 4-14 ACSS. I'm still looking for a backup set of irons that will let me attach and clear my scope.In the interim, while I'm putting up other rifles with optics and awaiting supplies, I've saved these sights and will use them as a sighting option. They are an absolute steal at the pitiful price they ask for these backup iron sights! Much superior to everyone's preferred plastic sights, which are much more expensive!Despite the fact that they were ineffective for my intended use, I am retaining them and will purchase more if I ever have a setup that calls for a nice, reliable, and economical pair of irons! Would I use these sights during combat? These are without a doubt the best sights I've ever used. They were incredibly easy to install and precise! The way the sights are grabbed and the vivid orange make it so much faster and simpler to get on target. In terms of accuracy, I would say I am about the same, but when it comes down to it, your form, technique, and sight image are what actually define your accuracy. After having said that, I can claim with confidence that I am considerably faster! With these sights, I can precisely fire 2-3 rounds in a fraction of the time it would take me to do so with the stock Glock sights. I should also mention that these sights are made of steel, making them more durable. They are also very simple to utilize as leverage to rack the slide in the event of a failure, such as against your belt or virtually any surface. Finally, since they are tritium and mine arrived quite bright, I anticipate 12 years from them. Since most attacks take place at night, I strongly advise everyone to purchase a night sight for their self-defense handgun. I feel so at ease with these while I'm away from home that I would entrust my life to them. Additionally, Trijicon has without a doubt some of the best customer service. I only wanted to emphasize that they are a trustworthy firm because I use their other products, such as acogs, but I am not a fanboy because I also run eotech, aimpoint, and elcan.

This is connected to my Beretta Neos.22 pistol. In comparison to the regular iron sights, the red dot on the handgun I bought for my 9-year-old daughter makes it easier to acquire targets. I took it to the range, and it maintains zero fairly nicely. Although I'm not sure if it could withstand the recoil of a rifle or handgun with a greater caliber, it works wonderfully for the.22. Particularly for a range/target gun for my kid, I'd say it's definitely well worth the money. It arrived in good condition and seems to be of good quality. It even has a dust cap for the actual red dot. In my opinion, this is the one to get if you need a good red dot for a reasonable price. We enjoy that while aiming, you can switch the reticle's color from Red to Green and its form. When shooting targets at various ranges and under various lighting conditions, this becomes quite useful. Good purchase all around.

I wanted a cheap light for the handgun I keep with me in case something untoward happens at night, and I loved the features on this for the price (compact, rechargeable, battery indicator light). Although I'm not a big lover of lasers, the model with the green laser is actually quite stunning. The light is plenty bright and has a wonderful spread, a brilliant focused center but also casts enough ambient light to provide a good field of view. The laser actually had the beam visible in the ambient humidity, which was kind of cool and speaks to its power that I could project a solid dot as far as my surrounding tree line (250 yards) would allow. I took the light out at night and the light was adequate to about 50 yards, and I couldn't find anything far enough away for the laser not to reach out to.On the negative side, I discovered that the body/resistance case's to moisture was problematic. Just by glancing at them, I don't think the buttons, molding seams, and laser bezel are well sealed, and the LED charge indicator seems completely unsecured. I wouldn't submerge this and worry about its capacity to withstand rigorous use in heavy rain. It's not a problem for me because I live indoors and rely only on a firearm in a lockbox. The mounting technique is the biggest flaw I discovered; I mounted it to various handguns, and the only ones it properly grabbed onto were full-size frames with a full rail. A foot or so to the left or right of the laser was adjusted at a distance of 20 feet because it wouldn't bite the mounts on shorter rail small and subcompact handguns tightly enough to prevent some lateral play. This is probably because the rail is quite short front of the tightening screw and most compact and subcompact handguns have rounded and beveled edges where they meet the rail at the front of the mount for the light.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the unit for the purposes for which I purchased it. I will continue to use my more expensive and durable lights on my EDC/duty firearms. I believe this is more than adequate to fulfil that purpose if you're just looking for something to keep on a gun in the nightstand or even for a light duty light for an interior security/LE position. Even if I find lasers to be a little too "tacticool" for my tastes, throwing a dot at someone might be enough to knock them to the ground without having to fire a shot, which is a useful addition to have in your toolbox. A cheap light is still preferable than no light.I've already purchased a number of goods from Tacticon and have been pleased and impressed with their business overall. Yes, the majority of what they offer is standard Chinese-branded merchandise, which is incomparably inferior than products sold under the names of Acog, Eotech, Holosun, or any other well-known companies. Furthermore, it is much less expensive than other companies and has consistently delivered enough quality to earn my trust within the parameters and standards I've established for it. The Predator red dot is built very solidly, and the flip-up BUIS sights are the nicest I've ever used. If they continue to operate flawlessly through a few hundred more rounds, I would gladly mount them on a patrol rifle. They appear to be selling Chinese products of higher quality, offer a lifetime warranty on their goods, and include a handwritten thank-you message with each order.

I purchased this sight with the expectation that it will break, not hold a zero, have a dead battery, have a blurry dot, or some other problem. Pros and Cons are listed below. But I must admit, I truly enjoy this site.The mount on this sight holds tighter and more easily than one I recently purchased from Bushnell, in addition to being extremely affordable.It holds a zero and is installed to a rifle that fires 7.62x39 rounds. shooting 2" groups at 50 yards and 3" groups at 75-100 yards. I'm unsure of the dot's moa, but it appears to be the same size as the Bushnell I product I referenced, which allegedly featured a 3" dot.It also has springs between the sight and the mount in case you bash or bump it, which I accidentally did at the range and dropped it on some rocks when I was remounting to test if it held the zero. (Now there is a guy on YouTube who bashes his red dots with a water bottle a lot to see if it breaks or loses its zero. I did not do this test, I am not using this in military applications, and I have backup sights in case I get the inclinpros: 1. It maintains zero on a 7.62x39 even after being removed and reinstalled three times just to make sure.2. The mounting bracket secures as well as or better than some more expensive sights3.offers the user a choice of four reticle designs.4. A few very hard drops and bumps didn't break it, and none of them held.5. Flat glass provides a wider view than tube red dot; 6. moa size appears to be the same but with three less;7. I left the battery on for a week without noticing anything.8. excellent mbus (mini backup sights) performance without additional riser9. After being tested in the water and during rainy conditions, it never fogged up.10. no glare or distortion of the viewCons: 1. It was still really simple to accomplish, but I had to listen for clicks and sort of feel them with the wrench when you zero it in.2. It pushed to the left when I tightened the "locking screw" to "lock the zero," so I just left it unlocked; it still retains a zero after 150 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and a few hard bumps.The plain dot's zero point differs from the other three reticles when you switch reticles, which is the only thing I don't like. In other words, take it to the range, pick your favorite, then walk away. (which, I must confess, is a pity), but any one of these will function in any weather. Though it's just me, I prefer the circle with the dot in the center.

It outperforms both my Vortex and my Eotech dollar for dollar.In no time at all, I had zeroed at 50 yards. has successfully maintained zero across a few hundred rounds. The installation process could have been simpler, but it is really just nitpicking.To those who claim they don't work: You do aware that before the scope is ready to be used, the clear plastic shield preventing the battery from making contact must be removed? Yes, the instructions don't include this, but really, how difficult is that to understand?The dot may be a little bit more defined. Maybe. Could it perhaps be a bit brighter? Maybe. But what exactly are you anticipating when you take the price into account? The dot is sharp enough to drill headshots at 100 yards without much difficulty and is bright enough to be seen in the harsh Arizona heat.Spend your money wisely if you're on a tight budget. Take a sip of reality and save your money if you're expecting the same performance as a scope that costs hundreds more.
