Cleaning your firearms is so much simpler with this set. I never imagined that a rifle cleaning kit would get me so fired up. My shooting mates were all informed, too. The case has a sturdy shell and is perfect for keeping things organized. Since I only have the 9mm attachments, I can only say positive things about them. extremely durable and well-made. The Jag is the ideal size and does an excellent job of cleaning up. I often run a moist pad through the jag, scrub with the copper brush, and then repeat until they are clean. This set has made cleaning my guns really simple. I've used it seven or eight times so far, and nothing has changed. I was making do with the $10 plastic Hoppe's kit that is available everywhere, but you get what you paid for. I used to fight and detested having to clean my weapons. It isn't as difficult to do it now. Even if the included cleaning pads are quite thin and ineffective, the kit is still a fantastic deal. I'll get another one if I misplace it or if something starts to break.

Although I haven't used this mat myself because I got it as a gift, I did check it out before giving it as a present, and it's extremely wonderful! The text and graphics are clear, and the construction quality is good. This review was mostly intended as a compliment to the seller. The "Ultimate Rifle Build 16"x36" Gun Cleaning Mat - AR15 Exploded Rifle Mat" that I purchased was advertised as including a magnetic parts tray. Although the mat was quite good when it arrived, the parts tray was not. I informed the vendor via email about the problem, and they responded by promising to send a replacement. A few days later, I received the replacement, and much to my surprise, it came with a brand-new "Ultimate Rifle Build 16"x36" Gun Cleaning Mat - AR15 Exploded Rifle Mat" kit as well as the parts tray! I've been using this method for a while and have learned several money-saving strategies that other users might find useful. If the valve on the cans is thoroughly and I mean perfectly cleaned with the carbon tet gun cleaner, the half used foam cans may be reused. Additionally, I had a problem where the gun flush would stop working after being used repeatedly over a long length of time. I fixed this issue by adding a new, comparable "O" ring to the tiny one on the flush can valve. This avoids the issue since the can valve is not pressed because the "O" ring shrinks in diameter as a result of compression when it is fitted into the gun. I'm hoping that this can aid other people who have struggled with the same issues with this system. Overall, this foam cannon system is excellent and far less expensive than the trash produced by using the Great stuff from retail cans.

These are an excellent product and are built durable like pretty much everything I own from Otis, but they don't replace a thorough cleaning of your bore any more than a boresnake does.After a few passes with these and a little coat of lubricant on the rear, you will be sufficiently clean to resume shooting or to store for a few days before visiting another range. They effectively remove powder and carbon fouling but won't remove metallic accumulation (copper or lead).Similar to using an Otis cable or a rod

The kit isn't bad overall, especially when you consider the cost. But mine didn't have a handle. I received two packs of cleaning patches rather than a T-handle. (One packet of patches is depicted in the listing's photographs. I received 2.) Fortunately, I had another cleaning kit with a T-handle that matched the rod in this one, so it wasn't a complete loss. But I desired a compact, portable equipment that I could bring to the range. This is not a cleaning kit at all without a T-handle.UPDATE!!!!! I received the appropriate T-handle from the vendor along with an extra set of brass bore brushes. Today, March 26, 2018, I received them in the mail. I purchased this kit to add to my bundle after using up several of the brushes for cleaning gun barrels. This package size is adequate for cleaning weapons at home but probably not for use at the range. The fact that every rod thread in this kit is the identical and can be fitted with the appropriate size cotton or bronze brush is what I enjoy about it the most compared to my previous favorite brand of kit. A few of my older items only have "the end" rods that will fit the brushes, making them difficult to use. The rods in this kit are made of copper rather than aluminum, which I prefer much more. There are two variants of this kit available, and I chose the less expensive one. The cleaning pad push head is made of plastic rather than copper, but since I don't use them very often, these plastic tips will last longer than the copper brushes, so I paid less for essentially the same item. It is a simple cleaning kit that works with the majority of handgun calibers. The most common rifle caliber brushes are surprising to see. There are 17.20 and.50 caliber included. It is really good since shotgun brushes contain the well-known 12 20 410 gauge. I only used it once to clean a handgun and discovered everything to be in functioning order. How durable is this kit? Because it fits better than some of my other kits, I think it is a little better, and I anticipate that it will endure for a very long time.
