The first section is a review I wrote on May 24, 2019. ***I adore this Intex inflatable pool for children (or adults!). fantastic even for grownups! The sun worshipper in me became impatient while we were leveling our yard for an above-ground pool and purchased this small treasure for $20 with prime shipping. It took no time at all to set up or inflate. I inflated it with the Intex air pump, placed the hose in there for 25–30 minutes, and added my chlorine floater. very simple The pool is bigger than I anticipated. I can fit one decent-sized lounge float there because of its length. It is depicted in a number of images! With plenty of room to spare, it fits perfectly! I bought this specifically to sunbathe, drink during the day, and stay cool till our real pool installation is complete because I don't have any kids.You simply cannot beat it for the price!! It would still be worth it to me even if it only lasted a few more weeks. It is positioned there on my elevated deck, covered by a tarp. This pool has been mine for over two weeks, and everything is going well. Keeps its air pressure and hasn't experienced any problems with holes or leaks (knock on wood!). Though I was worried about some of the other reviews and pictures, perhaps I've been lucky so far or I just happened to get one from a nice batch? I'll let you know if anything alters. I used it at least 20 times over that time (there was a lot of rain), so I received more than I anticipated. I just placed a second order on Amazon because it is presently under $15 and shipping is free with Prime. I still advise buying an inexpensive pool even though you should be aware that it probably won't last the entire summer, especially if you use it frequently and sit in the hot sun. Hope this is useful!ADDITIONAL ADVICE: Avoid overfilling and overinflating this pool. I may have caused the pool to fail more than a month later by doing both of these things. I adore this pool, a lot! I've had mine for a little more than a month and use it almost daily to unwind in. The lower chamber immediately developed a hole, although I think that was my fault because I didn't set it up on level ground. After moving it to a better spot and filling it with air, I was able to patch it up sufficiently. The lower chamber is now filled with water rather than air, but it doesn't matter because everything still functions flawlessly. In order to avoid having to change the water, I also bought the ATIE PoolSupplyTown 1" Floating Mini Chlorine/Bromine Tablet Dispenser for Pool, Spa, Hot Tub, Jacuzzi, and Fountain. I consider the value to be excellent considering the cost. Just in case, I've now purchased a backup pool and sent my folks one as well.

My son, who is 7 years old, loves the pool that I bought for him. The listed size is accurate, but it was considerably larger than I had anticipated. It feels like it would take a lot to break it in any way because it is so strong. The top's inflated ring does occasionally deflate, but I believe this is simply a result of spending so much time in the sun. Although I would have preferred a larger or more powerful pump, for the price it is adequate and we haven't had many problems with it. Overall, this is an excellent product at a good price!

I'm very happy with this product, but when I first got it, I was a little worried because the instructions said not to set it up on concrete or other hard surfaces (we purchased it specifically to set up on concrete, and the listing makes no mention of not using it on concrete or other hard surfaces).It is unclear why they advise against setting it up on hard surfaces, but it appears to be a safety concern given that we did it anyway and had no problems with it (but we are two adults using it, not children jumping in, and liable to break a leg if the floor is concrete).Overall, I'm quite pleased with this. large enough to comfortably fit two adults.

Very worthwhile. Despite my kids roughhousing with it, it has been used practically daily for the past few weeks with no leaks or deflation and is still in fine condition. My 25 pound 3-year-old and my 45 lb 6-year-old literally act like wild animals in this thing while jumping around and climbing around, and it holds up well to their wild imaginative play. As an added bonus, I can let my 9-month-old, who is very active and can crawl, explore the lower portion because there is only about 2 inches of water needed for it to be enjoyable for everyone and he can easily navigate it and climb out safely (obviously, I'm standing nearby and I NEVER leave him alone for even a second). When the larger kids are sliding down, he likes to stand up, grab the side of the slide, and happily shout at them. However, I could never allow him to play with his siblings in a typical blow-up pool with high edges in that manner. It takes less than five minutes to blow up with the electric pump, uses less water than a typical blow-up pool, but is significantly more entertaining. This is not our first time using inflatable pools of various sizes; we have invested a lot of money in them. Even on the hottest of days, we are able to play in our backyard thanks to this because we reside in the southwest where it can be REALLY hot. Before adding water, I placed a few of our chair cushions under it (especially at the bottom of the slide) to make it less painful for the kids to slide down.

I finally made the purchase after reading every single review for this pool and watching all (2 or 3) YouTube videos on assembly. Reading all the steps required to get things going was a bit frightening. I tried to keep it as basic as I could, following all the instructions, and reasoned that it was only a cheap toy if it didn't work out.How to Have Fun:1) Pool showed up (we live in Hawaii).2) Purchased a 21' cheap hose extension and a thick black plastic tarp in the painting section of Lowes (pool going farther away from the house than regular hose will accommodate).3) Determined the backyard's flattest section. Our yeard isn't completely level, so we have a taller area that makes it simpler to enter the pool, which is advantageous for a variety of intriguing reasons.4) The positioning of the large blue plastic bubble in the backyard was crucial, and we chose the optimum location by keeping it flat and out of the way.5) Spread the tarp out.6) Extended the pool across the tarp.7) Inserted hose inside and activated full blast.8) Remained in the pool to iron out the kinks in the plastic flooring; care should be taken to keep it flat to prevent flaps on the bottom where the plastic failed to extend.9) At the eleventh hour, I exited the pool and watched it fill while regularly checking. I erred on the side of underfilling it because I wasn't sure how full to make it.We had five friends with us the first time we utilized it, and we all had a great time. Although this pool is only for entertainment, I have to add that it accomplishes "nearly" everything a genuine pool would. We're installing a "real" pool next year.A fresh note:1) Purchase a plastic pool cover to keep larger debris out of the pool and to keep the water warm.2) If you want to avoid cleaning the pool with a strainer every day for an hour before you "want" to get in, invest in a pool pump. 3) Depending on your arithmetic skills, I found both the chemical testing kit AND the test strips to be effective.4) Invest in the chlorine floating device; it works (learn how to shock a pool; you'll want to fix the water until you figure out your chemical balance; this was our first pool, so I had to figure out the chemicals).5) Read everything Intex has to offer on the pool; they have a lot of useful information.6) Holds one or two rafts, but two rafts cannot be turned around.
