Vivii Solar Lights, Motion Sensor 30 LED Super Bright Security Lights Solar Outdoor Spotlight Flood Lighting for Backyard Garden Patio and Pathway, 4 PK Review:

I must mention that this product surpasses my expectations. I purchased a similar product on Amazon. Very motion-sensitive, and best of all, "Very Bright" for its size. Recent visitors to my home from family and friends were unable to resist asking where I purchased the item. When it lit up, it undoubtedly drew everyone's attention. I love it and I'm buying more.

Solar Lights Outdoor, KeShi LED Motion Sensor Solar Security Lights with Dual Head Spotlights 360° Adjustable Outdoor Solar Lights for Front Door Yard Garden Garage Review:

We made the decision to adequately secure our home and yard following our home invasion. Our backyard's grass was really dark. My sister recommended these lights. Although I've also bought other lights from Amazon, these will fit perfectly on the house's corner since the two spherical lights may be pointed in different directions while the main light is directed towards the front. Each device has a sizable solar panel to store solar energy on the top. They only require two screws for installation. Install the lights on the outside of your house, garage, or shed by simply removing the clear plastic from them. Knowing that the motion sensors in my yard will turn on and illuminate to warn us if someone enters makes me feel better. So happy we purchased these. a fantastic improvement over our current security methods. Happy with this purchase a lot.

Aootek 92 Led Solar outdoor motion sensor lights upgraded Solar Panel to 11.8 in² and 3 modes(Security/ Permanent On all night/ Smart brightness control )with IP65 Waterproof with Wide Angle(4pack) Review:

June 24, 2019 Update/revision: The motion sensor does not activate it quickly enough FOR MY DRIVEWAY APPLICATION, so I'm deducting one star to make it a 4-star product. It turns on as I get closer to it on my long driveway, approximately 10 feet from the mount. It's okay when I'm walking down my driveway since I'm moving more slowly than when I'm in my car. Well, because walking is slower than driving, it illuminates my path. These will be moved to my house because it is a better place. Since the activation range is less and lighting a driveway as you approach the sensor is not as important, I assume a house application is better than a driveway application. In conclusion, it is a Very Bright Light, which is GREAT. However, in my opinion, it would be better suited for a location where walking motion is anticipated. Not so good for lighting up a driveway because you can't see the driveway as you drive down it.Extremely brilliant. Lighting IS GOOD, but a walk-up application is preferable than a drive-up application.See my initial assessment down below.bought these for my driveway's nighttime lighting. I mounted them the evening they arrived and tested them after supper, when it was already very dark. After dusk, my woods are completely dark. They are mounted on four trees along my 200-foot driveway, thus the height and distance of the trees from the pavement had an impact on their range. They were a lot brighter than I had anticipated, wow. Yea!Height and Radius: The illumination's radius improves with height, but the driveway's "brightness" has a "negative" offset. It is still surprisingly bright in the dead of night. As it turned out, I had to shift them lower since the brightness, coming from the absolute darkness and moving quickly in my car, was too much for my eyes to handle. They were mounted just 2 feet up the trees, which was high enough for my eyes to not be affected by the light.I realize I'm becoming a little choosy, but isn't that what reviews are for?Yes, the sensors that measure angles of 120 degrees are fairly precise. In the center of the light is the circular sensor. It is visible in the pictures. In order for the motion to be initiated in time for the light to turn on quickly enough to illuminate the driveway for my moving car, I had to adjust the placement (around the curve of the trees). It was simple to modify. Use nails instead of the supplied screws. Just what I like. I find it simpler to drive nails than to screw in screws. I just wish there was a more detailed explanation of illumination vs. height radius in the instructions. That's why I'm sharing my experience with you all in this review.I actually need around 8 more to "light the path" down my driveway's length because it is somewhat curved. Two of the corners are narrow, hairpin twists that resemble mountain roads.I'll wait a few more weeks before deciding whether to get more of these.I really enjoy them thus far in general. Only one week has passed. In a few months, I'll attempt to remember to post an update.Oh, I'm in a heavily forested part in East Tennessee. My trees are fully "leafed out," and solar is operating effectively. large canopyI anticipate the winter to be even better (re: solar recharging).Wait and seeOh, yes ....I'm a woman, too.aged 62 years. The lights were straightforward to mount.-JapaneasyI hope this is helpful. Lemontec Solar Lights, 62 LED Wall Solar Light Outdoor Security Lighting Nightlight with Motion Sensor Detector for Garden Back Door Step Stair Fence Deck Yard Driveway, 2 Pack Review:

This product is excellent. Let me get right to the point if you struggle with attention span issues. If you get it, you won't be dissatisfied because it is a great quality for the price. Read on if you have a long attention span or simply enjoy learning about amusing products.I got this so our dog can see the backyard at night when we take him out before bed. These lights are set to be dim (always on at night), but when motion is detected, they turn bright for about 15 seconds before turning dim again. Our prior solar motion lights did not have a dim setting, so you had to constantly move in front of them to keep them on, which was difficult while the dog was doing potty on a leash (we have to go with him). The lights are still on in the early mornings when we go outdoors while it's still dark since they currently have enough charge to endure the night. I still have the old LED lights outside in motion actuated mode just to be safe (in case they eventually can't last that long as the nights get "longer") (but normally off).Although I purchased these lights for safety, I was pleasantly surprised by the calming atmosphere they create. On the exquisitely planted ground, they created a very attractive down light display that was simply stunning. For the record, I hire a professional to take care of my landscaping, so I'm not bragging.Additionally, we have coyotes nearby, so I like the notion of lights that are always on but brighten when there is movement. Hopefully, this will dissuade coyotes. Additionally, there are many snakes in our area, including those that are venomous (Rattle snakes, copperheads and water moccasins). Some of my neighbors have been bitten at night, and a few pets have also been bitten; some of the dogs did not survive. Even while these lights might not be able to stop it, I feel better knowing that I can at least check in the direction my dog is going to make sure there aren't any obstacles in the way or if I notice any movement. It was very likely that you would tread on a snake before the other lights we had turned on because they didn't turn on until they sensed movement.Outside of our bedroom window are the lights. Our sleep is not at all impacted by the dim mode. Since we installed them, I have not observed the bright mode to turn on at an unexpected time. As a result, I am unsure if it will wake us or not, but I wager that the dog will be awakened, which will then wake us.What could be done better?A template for drilling the holes and mounting the light would be useful, for example. That is something I've experienced with other motion-activated LED lights, and I really value it. A piece of ordinary printer paper can be used to create one quite easily, although a quality cardboard stock template would be preferable. These don't have a mounting bracket, which is another option I've seen on LED lights and like because it seems more secure and would do away with the requirement for a drilling template. I've also seen locking mechanisms that need a key to be unlocked in order to remove the light; I wish these lights had a similar feature. Additionally, I have another brand that offers a USB charging port (with their proprietary cable), which may not be necessary the majority of the time (if you have enough light to charge using the solar panel), but I do like that option if you have a lot of cloudy days or the amount of daylight is insufficient (like in Alaska or farther north in the winter). Additionally, I've seen some LED outdoor lights that provide side angle illumination, which is not only attractive but also useful for illuminating certain regions. That would be a good choice to take into account. Additionally, I would prefer a replacement battery, which this does not appear to have. I assume not because it doesn't explicitly state either that it is or that it isn't. The batteries probably do not have a multiyear shelf life as the LED lights do. Last but not least, I've seen a rubberized seal over the mode switching switches that keeps the rain out and keeps the controls looking brand new, but it's not present on these lights.Oh my goodness, I had no idea I could write that much on LED motion lights. I feel obligated to state, Let me be clear that I think this is a really good product and for the cost, it is well worth it after mentioning the areas for development. You won't make a mistake if you purchase it; it functions flawlessly as-is. My ideas are the result of my experience using a variety of options, none of which, to my knowledge, have all the characteristics I listed here as improvements. Therefore, in my experience, you won't find everything I stated in a single product; rather, I'm just describing the qualities that I enjoyed and, if they were available in a single product, would probably immediately become a favorite of mine.

LITOM Solar Lights Outdoor, IP67 Waterproof Solar Motion Sensor Light with 270° Lighting Angle, Wireless LED Solar Powered Security Wall Light for Patio,Yard,Garage,Garden,Stairs,Driveway 500LM 4 Pack Review:

Remember that I only installed them yesterday, so I can't attest to their durability or performance over the long term. As my title suggests, they appear to be constructed of very high-quality plastic and to be well-built right out of the box. When I got these, I didn't really consider their size; instead, I was more concerned with the pricing for the 4 pack and the overall positive ratings. I must admit that I was quite astonished by how much smaller they actually were when they came. One is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The box is 5" x 5" x 4 1/4"h with all 4 securely packed within.Mounting screws and wall anchors are included in the box, making installation as simple as possible. I used tiny velcro pads to mount mine to my vinyl siding. They aren't heavy, so we'll see how long that lasts, but I'm hoping it will. Additionally, it gives me some flexibility to move without damaging my siding.I will say that the light is not spot light intensity after installing them yesterday. This might not be the best option if you want to illuminate a really bright, large area. But these would be perfect to provide a softer, wider light projection over a smaller area, like a 20' x 20'. Motion sensors work well at a fair distance. One on my shed lights up when I descend to the patio, which is 30' from the base of my deck steps. After 30 seconds if no movement is detected, they turn themselves off.Updated after a month: I'd expand the light coverage area to 40'x40' from my first assessment. Although not as strong as a spotlight, the light nevertheless nicely illuminates the surroundings. I'm still astonished by these lights.

ZOOKKI Solar Lights Outdoor, 28 LED Wireless Motion Sensor Lights, IP65 Waterproof Wall Light Easy-to-Install Security Lights for Outdoor Garden, Patio, Yard, Deck, Garage, Driveway, Fence 4 Pack Review:

Since I was unfamiliar with the product's brand name before purchasing these, I'll admit that I was a little anxious. around 6-7 hours to charge. After placing them in the sun in the morning, I got them mounted and operational by dinnertime. The range is quite extensive. While strolling through the woods, I was able to set off the motion detector from a distance of perhaps 10 to 12 feet. Additionally, I saw that despite the sensor light's distance from the road, one of the motion triggers was able to detect cars traveling by. It must be the way I have it set up and how the cars are traveling down the slope or road because it is picking up vehicles from a distance of more than 20 feet. When activated, the lights remain on for approximately 15 seconds. I'll be getting a second set of four.At our primary residence, we have two of the sets we purchased. In comparison to our standard porch light and driveway sensor light, the one we installed near our RING doorbell greatly improves our ability to see our entire driveway clearly at night.I'll continue to do business with this firm and make purchases from them. Both times, my order was delivered in a day or less. I've been checking around, and a different brand of these lights is selling for roughly $12 for ONE at Home Depot and Target. You may purchase 4 from this firm for about $30.

Solar Lights Outdoor Motion Sensor, 1400-Lumen Bright LED Spotlight 9-Watt(130W Equiv.), Solar Security Lights for Garden Driveway Patio, 2-Year Battery Life, 160-Week 100% Free Replacement Review:

I own three of these. The light is enclosed in a strong, high-quality case that mimics a security camera. It comes with 3 screws and an adhesive waterproof backing, which are both necessities for mounting. Only a Phillips screwdriver and five to ten minutes of your time are required. The light is off throughout the day and turns on automatically at dusk. When there is no motion, it will glow little; when motion is there, it will shine brightly.DrawGreen, the product's seller, stands firmly behind it. Although a few customers claim they had a little trouble reading the directions, please take note that I found the instructions to be clear and useful.Your solar panel needs to be charged for eight hours in direct sunshine BEFORE installation.Prior to mounting, attach the weatherproof backing with the adhesive facing the mounting surface. Before ascending, don't forget to switch the light on. The solar panel has an on/off switch underneath it.Your light will flash once when it is on. It will flash twice when it is off.)))SUN EXPOSURE: Your solar light panel will retain its charge for a longer period of time under direct sunlight, but if you choose to install it in a shaded region, NO PROBLEM. It is also very simple to remove the light or panel from the mounting bracket for a thorough recharge.Once fully charged, GENTLY detach the light/solar panel part from the base and place it in the sun for 8 hours. GENTLY screw the piece back to the base, and it's ready to use.I shift them while recharging in this manner to catch the most intense sunlight I can by following the course of the sun.The following three images show how I "follow" the sun.I really believe that if you adhere to these straightforward instructions, you will likewise be pleased with your DrawGreen Motion Sensor Solar Light (s).

3 Head LED Security Lights Motion Outdoor Motion Sensor Light Outdoor 40W 3500 Lumens 5000k Waterproof IP65 ETL Motion Sensor Flood Light Exterior Security Light led Review:

I purchased this without consulting my husband, who is quite specific about the outdoor lights he uses. He's been talking about it for the past two nights. He said that it was lightweight and simple to install. He really appreciates how bright it is and how much of an area it covers. He claims that the idea that these are LED lights is incomprehensible. He's thinking about removing our other 4 lights and replacing them with only one more of these to light up the rear and side yards on our property. We reside in rural and agricultural areas without street lights. Good illumination thus far!

Solar Lights Outdoor, 30 LED Solar Security Lights with Motion Sensor Dual Head Spotlights IP65 Waterproof 360° Adjustable Solar Motion Lights Outdoor for Front Door Yard Garden Garage Patio Deck Review:

Due to the many trees in my backyard and the darkness at night, it is impossible to see my dogs when they are outside. I purchased one of these lights and quickly attached it to the fence rail. It illuminates the shadowy corner much more effectively than I anticipated. When dusk falls, a low light illuminates the yard's rear; nevertheless, when the dog returns, the light brightens to its proper brightness. One of the brightest and best-working solar lights I have ever seen. I now require two more and will purchase them for the other shadowy areas in my yard. Instantly detects motion, extremely bright, and incredibly simple to install even in the most challenging locations.

Ustellar 2 Pack 15W RGB LED Flood Lights, Outdoor Color Changing Floodlight with Remote Control, IP66 Waterproof 16 Colors 4 Modes Dimmable Wall Washer Light, Stage Lighting with US 3-Plug Review:

For the holidays, I purchased these lights to accentuate the front of my house. They are incredibly simple to use and connect. I initially lighted the home green and red for Christmas, but I ultimately chose to utilize a random mode with the colors cycling through various hues of one another. We are going to get green-lit for the Super Bowl! Green lights will also be turned on honor Veterans Day. It will be orange, white, and green on St. Patrick's Day. Red, white, and blue will be used for our national holidays as well as pink for Valentine's Day. They retain their previous setting when I turn them on using a switched outlet. The remote operated the two that were connected to a live outlet through the window. The single remote may control all of the lights, each of which has its own remote. The firm that sold these lights shipped them out swiftly, and they were packaged carefully. They arrived promptly. When I encountered a problem with one of the lights, the seller fixed it.

Do flood lights use a lot of electricity?

Flood lights are a great way to light up a large area, but they can be a bit of a power hog. Depending on the size and wattage of the bulb, a typical flood light can use anywhere from 50 to 500 watts of power. That said, newer LED flood lights are much more energy-efficient, using only about 10-20 watts of power. So, if you're looking to save on your energy bill, switching to LED flood lights is a great option.

How do you illuminate the front of a house?

How do you pick a flood light?

To pick a flood light, you'll want to consider the area you're lighting, the intensity of light you need, the type of bulb, and the bulb's wattage. You'll also want to make sure the flood light is weatherproof and has a dusk-to-dawn sensor if you want it to turn on and off automatically.

How many lumens should a floodlight be?

The amount of lumens a floodlight emits should be dependent on the area you are trying to light up. A general rule of thumb is that you need approximately 10 lumens per square foot of area.

How much area does a flood light cover?

A standard flood light covers an area of approximately 30 square feet.

How strong should a floodlight be?

There is no definitive answer to this question as the strength of a floodlight will depend on a number of factors, such as the size of the area to be illuminated and the level of ambient light. However, as a general guide, a floodlight should be powerful enough to light up an area of around 30 square meters.
