This was suggested to me via a website for Pike. I tossed this around because I was in the area of a lake where I knew they might be. A great huge mouth bass hit it really hard after a few casts. curiously enough, a perch was caught on it along with a few bass. For Pike in the summer, more would have been required. On every capture, the hook really dug in and held. I purchased the 1/4 ounce. I'm thinking about getting the 1/2oz because the smaller version struggled in challenging situations. When the going got tougher, casts would fall short in the wind and would require a lot of effort to reach the bottom.

The lures I received, in my opinion, are of good quality and offer good value for the money. I was hoping they were bigger, and if bigger ones were available, I would buy them. These are an excellent size for fish that weigh between one and three pounds, but I'd really want to find a cheap metal spoon with similar action and flash at a size that is considerably larger. I want them to be between 1-3 ounces in weight. These weigh less than a quarter of an ounce, I believe. Small stripers and fish the size of freshwater trout are perfect for the sharp hooks. If this is the size you require, these are unbeatable. However, I believe that the same lures in larger sizes would rival the Krocodile lure spoons and generate a lot of interest and money. I would like the manufacturer to message me whether they produce and sell them locally. I'd purchase more. I've also purchased some Krocodile knockoffs from sources other than this maker, and I'm happy with those as well. There is just no justification for a small piece of metal, such as a Kroc spoon, to cost $9 or $10. Bluefish soon break them off, and using name brands would be prohibitively expensive (I do use wire). I appreciate your wonderful stuff.

For various rigs, I bought them in 40 gram and 22 gram sizes. fishing off jetties, the beach, and sandbars in the 10,000 island region of southwest Florida. They had excellent casting skills and caught a variety of fish, including Jacks, Snook, Red Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish, and the rare Blue. With the right rig, the spoon casts like a bullet in either weight. Even 5# fish on the large spoon will cause the hook to bend quickly because the hooks ARE of poor quality. On my subsequent trip, I'll use them but I'll replace the hooks with better ones.

I recently ordered these lures and was impressed by how they appeared. I particularly appreciated their size, which is ideal for pursuing smaller saltwater fish species. I got to try them out today in San Diego Bay, and I lost three of them. (The first one was entirely my fault; I hooked up with a good-sized sand bass and pulled him out by the line in a rookie move; I was using light mono; the fish freaked out, the line snapped at the knot, and the fish and lure were gone.) Amazing lures for the money, my go-to white bass, striped bass, and kokainee lures even perform well on trout if you give the retrieve a little motion. I would land a fish on every cast during the fall, when white bass school up and feast on shad the size of this lure. With a start/stop retrieve, I also catch a good amount of LMB, although it's not the most effective bait for them. When I got into some bigger fish, I got better hookups after switching to a larger treble hook. The hooks worked wonderfully on the smaller fish. Enjoy your fishing and don't worry about losing them at that cost.

These are brand-new to me; I just acquired them yesterday. Two lures had O rings on the front that were too open, so I changed them. View the images. It appears that the damages parts of the O rings and necessitates greater opening. Be cautious since the two I replaced were fairly simple to remove the hook from, which means you risk losing a fish.It is a blade bait otherwise, similar to a lipless crankbait, except it will never break. Sometimes when I cast, the ball strikes something hard, like a dock, a rock, or concrete, rather of landing exactly where I want it to.
