The neoprene waders are too tight in the middle for my taste. The PVC waders from RexSoul are not too tight. The substance is light in weight. Really fantastic fit in the boots. My feet used to slide about in my old waders' boots. Not with the RexSoul waders, though. good hold in the water as well. On the shoulders, the straps are supportive and sturdy. When these were delivered, I immediately noticed the fantastic camo design when I opened the box. These were excellent because of the really high quality print. I was thrilled with the boot's comfort after I put them on. It has a lot of support and padding. The fit was perfect. The shoulder straps were the next aspect I deemed to be quite attractive. The plastic clips on my previous set, which locked them in, were a pain. The shoulder straps on these are attached via velcro, which is a really quick and simple process. These are what I bought to use on a pond on my property. It's overgrown, and I need to rip it all out, work on the pipes for the inflow and outfall, rearrange the rocks, and other things. I don't "walk out" of the shoes part since the boots are quite gripping and fit my feet well with thick wool socks.Despite the extreme cold of the pond, I felt cozy in my fleece top, BDU leggings, and thin poly base layer. The fit was perfect—not too tight or too loose. The shoulder straps had an excellent hold on the elastic and were wide and stretchy. The catches are simple to clip and unclip; they have never undone themselves by accident. The wide belt aids in minimizing bulk. I avoided fiddling with the pockets. In chilly water, the waders seem a little stiff, but I found that this kept me steady. I recently acquired a fly pole and was searching for a set of waders that won't break the bank and will keep me warm and dry. Although they appear to be well made of high quality materials, especially considering the price, I haven't had the chance to use these yet, so it's unclear how warm and dry they will be.I can vouch for the sizing, which should be useful to prospective customers. I am neither the broadest or the tallest (I'm approximately 5'7"), but I'm also not the slimmest either (about 185 lbs. average to stocky build). I usually wear broad shoes in a men's size 10.5 if I can get them. I decided to attempt the size 11 in order to accommodate my large feet and thick socks. The boots are a perfect size for me; they're not too wide that I feel like I'm sliding around, but they're big enough that I don't believe wearing several layers of thick socks will be an issue. The waders themselves are tall for someone my height. They are tall enough that I'm worried about possible rubbing beneath the sleeves, even though on the one hand that implies I won't have a problem in deeper water. The shoulder straps actually rise up off of my shoulder, even at their smallest length. Since the boots fit so well and I will be wearing extra layers when outside in the cold, I think I will give these a try rather than returning them and trying a lesser size.I am really happy with these considering the cost and apparent quality. Also nice are the carrying bag and dry bag for your phone.

I wanted to try my luck with lures but I always bunker chunked from the shore with a 15' rod. Today was my third time using these for fishing, and they are fantastic. I'm paying $35 because I had a $5 off coupon. They are HUGE boots! I got a size 11 boot even though my shoe size is 10.5 and my foot is AT LEAST 3 inches bigger than the boot. Even with the really thick socks I purchased, there is still a lot of space. makes walking on dry sand a little more difficult, but not significantly so. I wear sweats underneath because the water temperature is still in the 40s here, but I would freeze without them. Since the water will soon warm up here, I didn't need them for warmth anyhow. The only other thing is that they have a terrible, strange rubbery oil odor. It has much lessened as I hang them upside down to dry between uses, and I'm confident it will go away. I believe any of them in this price range will smell the same because my friend purchased more costly (though still less expensive) ones, and his have the exact same smell. The front pocket is NOT waterproof and useless because the belt strap runs directly over it, but my friends are exactly the same, and based on the photographs, it appears that they are all the same. Very pleased with them and the price. Sure, some fishermen use $200 neoprene, but I feel comfortable and catch the same fish as they do.

Even though the waders are quite light weight and don't provide warming insulation on their own, I have plenty of place for wool layers underneath the waders, which kept me warm in some pretty cold streams. These waders appear to be made with high-quality fabric and seams; they should last for many seasons without decaying. Overall, these waders look well made and are watertight, although they might be a little tight if you buy them based solely on your shoe size.

Given that they were so inexpensive compared to comparable items sold at sporting goods stores, I took a slight risk with them.For fishing in rivers, I use them. I tried them for the first time this past weekend, and they performed admirably. In the water for around 5 hours without any leaks.Since I typically wear a size 12 shoe and am 6'1" and 215 lbs, I ordered that size. These are exactly a 12, although I had hoped for a little bit extra space in the boot and will probably get a 13 next time. The overall fit is good; however, you don't want to "swim" in your waders when moving through the water. It is snug when bending over. The belt, extra-wide shoulder straps, and wader hanger (for storing) are all wonderful features. I don't intend to put any gear in the front pocket, which is only big enough for my phone and license. In a particularly difficult section of the river, traction was excellent, but overall boot comfort was only average. To help with that, I'll probably add an insole or padding from my hunting boots or muck boots.In comparison to Frogg Toggs or similar brands that you might get in a sporting goods store, these appear to be really well-made for the money and a terrific deal.

I'm a biology PhD student at Binghamton University. I was field working in a marsh while wearing these waders when I accidentally stepped into an unauthorized beaver trap. My left foot was directly struck in the middle by the trap. By some miracle, neither my foot nor the boot ever broke! Unfortunately, my boot had to be severed by the EMTs, therefore the waders did not make it through the ordeal. These waders only had a brief lifespan, however they kept me very dry while I navigated high swamp water. Additionally, the waders came with a fantastic waterproof phone case that let me to have my phone with me during the entire ordeal (highly recommended!). I purchased a size 6, which fit as well as I could have hoped for me at 5'5" and 135 lbs. My second Frogg Toggs jacket purchase was this one. It took the first one around 4 years to ultimately wear out. They definitely keep me dry and are quite lightweight.
