Who am I to oppose my son's desire to cook steamed fish at home after we consumed it on a visit? My son was adamant about being able to accomplish it.We therefore searched everywhere and discovered a wide range of prices. It's a little thinner than I anticipated, feels lighter, and is a little flimsier than my mother's. This was a medium price and size (some are really massive). But it most definitely works. The fish was wonderful and easily fit in. This fits readily inside my oven because we were meticulous with the specifications, but some might have been too large. I was looking for something that could go in the oven and cook on top. This satisfies both. In addition, I have successfully steamed veggies in it (cauliflower and, of course, asparagus - fits well!). Overall, I think this was a nice purchase. I'm not sure whether it will last as long as the thicker, more expensive ones, but I'm also not sure how often we'll use it, so this seems like a fair compromise.

These pans are excellent. On these, you can fry almost anything without it sticking. All you need to do is use a tiny bit of oil. These items are unbreakable, and they include removable handles for simple cleaning and storage. There is no better pan out there. I purchased several of these in Germany, so I was glad to see that they were offered here. These are for a friend of mine, and she also adores them.

Actually purchased it to steam food, particularly fish. To prevent the pull tabs from rubbing against the lid, a slight bend has to be made in them. used the lids from mason jars as a support on the cooking tray. has thus far withstood dishwashing, though it is not advised. It looks wonderful, cooks well, and we now have a much healthier choice to choose from in our menu.As a side note, even after cooking, the pull tabs don't seem to be as hot as they should be.

It operates flawlessly. Particularly for the price equivalent to the $900.00 copper pot. It completes the task. For lifting out your fish, the water bath colonist contains incredibly light gauge metal. It's alright as long as you carefully remove it and hold it by both handles. The gauge of the metal should have been thicker, in my opinion. However, this only makes it lighter and more prone to dents.

We regret not learning about this cookware sooner. The fish has always turned out perfectly when we've used it, which has been quite a few times. It has only ever been used with fresh salmon. It goes quite quickly and easily. Simply fill the pan with a little bit of salted water, approximately the height of the tray, and then bring the water to a boil (you'll probably need to spread it across two burners on the stove). If your fish is a sizable piece, add it while the water is still chilly. If you haven't already, set the burners to simmer, place the fish tray inside, cover the pan, and let the fish poach for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish. The fish is ready to eat when it flakes easily and is cooked throughout. In terms of using stock or preparing sauces, you may get a lot fancier, but if you start with good fish, you don't need to go any further. The pan itself is made fairly nicely and is simple to clean.
