Best Facial Tinted Moisturizers in 2022

Can I just wear BB cream alone?

BB cream is a type of makeup that can be used as a foundation or as a primer. It is often used as a base for foundation because it provides a smooth surface for foundation to be applied on top of. It can also be worn alone as a light coverage makeup.

Can I use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation?

Foundation and tinted moisturizer both serve the purpose of providing coverage for the face, but they are not interchangeable. Foundation is typically heavier than tinted moisturizer, providing more coverage for blemishes, uneven skin tone, and redness. It is also designed to stay in place for long periods of time, whereas tinted moisturizer is lighter and more natural looking. If you have dry skin, you may want to opt for a tinted moisturizer, but if you have oily skin, foundation may be a better option.

Do you need to wear primer under tinted moisturizer?

Most people don't need to wear primer under their tinted moisturizer, but if you have problem areas on your skin, it can help to smooth them out. If you have large pores or dry patches, for example, primer can help to fill them in and create a more even canvas for your makeup.

Do you put powder over tinted moisturizer?

There's no right answer to this question - it's all about personal preference. Some people like to put powder over their tinted moisturizer to set it and help it last longer, while others prefer the more natural look that comes without powder. If you're not sure what you prefer, experiment with both options and see what looks best on you.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30, Opal 01, 1.18 Ounce Review:

I bought the Opal 01 because I have fair complexion with pink undertones, and it works great! I work from home and am extremely active, so I have to maintain a presentable appearance during video chats. I had my doubts about this product, but it truly is fantastic! It spreads easily and simply evens and smoothes out everything. Because of my minor pitted acne scarring, I can't wear a lot of makeup because it makes my skin seem worse, and applying a primer and foundation every day would be too much work for me. In addition to protecting my skin when I'm out adventuring, riding bikes, walking the dog, etc., this is the ideal substitute for daily use. I feel confident and prepared to face the day (and coworkers on Zoom calls!) with this and just a little mascara.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30, Natural 05, 1.18 Ounce Review:

Though I like it, this cream isn't my fave. I was seeking for an affordable CC cream that I wouldn't pair with any other foundation. I completely disagree with reviewers who claim that this can be layered to create the appearance of more thorough coverage. Even though I didn't provide adequate coverage, I still found myself applying foundation. This could not even remotely conceal the incredibly terrible sun spots I get on my face. I will give it a 4-star rating, though. Why? You won't ever look cakey because of how moisturizing it is; the moisture it gives prevents that. On your face, it feels very light and fresh. Your skin tone will complement the color. Finally, it doesn't cause breakouts. As it is stated, I would classify this as more of a tinted moisturizer. This is excellent if that's what you're searching for. Don't buy this, though, if you're like me and seeking a CC cream with greater coverage. IT Cosmetics CC cream is something I would advise. They have a liquid foundation that is compact. Both are wonderful and hide my sun spots. Additionally, they include SPF 50!

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30, Ginger 06, 1.18 Ounce Review:

Do not worry if you are unsure whether this product is truly made of bare minerals. It is actual. This foundation is the real deal; I've been using it since it first came out. THIS MAKEUP IS AMAZING! One layer might make it sheer, or you can add a bit extra product for additional coverage. The problem, though, is Over the years, I have learned two crucial things: 1) It functions as both a moisturizer and a foundation. Use it as your daytime moisturizer as a result. If I use this AFTER using my regular moisturizer, it seems heavier. I DON'T use my moisturizer first if I want a sheer, natural appearance that only conceals the redness around my nose and a tiny bit around my eyes without feeling like makeup. The moisture content of this product is just right. 2) Wait a minute or two for it to set before applying any powder, bronzer, or blush that you usually wear or become alarmed that it looks glossy. I'm not sure why; perhaps it has to do with the whole moisturizing thing. I wash my face, apply a small quantity of eye cream, and then take approximately a nickel-sized amount of this and spread it all over my face as my regular moisturizer using only my fingers and not my palms. I depart after that. It looks amazing after a minute or two as I go get dressed or do whatever. I always think it looks extremely sparkly once I put it on and after I glance in the mirror. Then I recall to simply wait a moment. It is a wonderful product, in any case. If you want it to be heavier than it is, add another coat after the first one has had time to dry a little. It is free of oil. I mean actually free of oil. Even though a product claims to be "oil free," it may still contain whatever the "good oils" are that are meant to prevent breakouts. Any oil, including those that are meant to treat acne like tea tree and lavender, will cause my skin to break out and develop pimples. For anyone who wants to be able to swiftly apply something for everyday usage and have their skin look like it is naturally smooth and clear, I highly recommend this product. Consider the photos of well-known actors or models who appear to be wearing "no makeup" and to have their hair pulled back in ponytails, but you STILL find yourself wondering how their complexion manages to be flawless by nature. Well, you get that from this material. Try it out and find the application method that suits you best. Just be patient at first and resist the urge to dismiss it as being too dazzling. I believe you'll come to love it.

DRMTLGY Anti-Aging Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46. Universal Tint. All-In-One Face Sunscreen and Foundation with Broad Spectrum Protection Against UVA and UVB Rays. 1.8 oz Review:

I've wanted to try a tinted moisturizer for a while, but I was concerned that the color wouldn't look good on my fair complexion. Additionally, I didn't want to overpay for a thing. I was selected to receive this item for free, and I can't begin to express how much I like it. As soon as I got it, I put it to use. The tint is quite light and emits a very subtle glow that appears completely natural. I thought my face appeared young and healthy. The product applies easily and provides excellent coverage. Because I burn quite easily and this has a decent SPF, I wear it every day by myself. I also used it underneath my powder, and the result was a beautiful, finished appearance. This moisturizer appears to be a substantial, high-end item that is more valuable than its cost. I'll definitely make another purchase.

Body Merry Face Moisturizer Cream - Anti-Aging Lotion for Wrinkles, Lines, Acne & Dark Spots w 22% Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, CoQ10 Review:

This particular substance is magic in a bottle. I felt like I had an instant makeover the first time I applied this to my face. My complexion looked instantaneously more radiant and supple, and my skin came alive. I never experienced this glow before, yet it came over me. My eye region was a little darker and my skin was a little duller before using this. When I reapplied this, my skin appeared immaculate. Even though I never leave the house without makeup to go to work, I felt comfortable doing so this time. It's great material, and I'm glad I found it. I was concerned that this might exacerbate my terrible whiteheads and blackheads, which are all over my very oily skin. I'm glad I was mistaken because this product's consistency is non-oily, it absorbs fast into the skin, and it has significantly reduced my acne since using it. I'm obsessed with how even my skin tone is now, therefore I'll keep using this because I adore it.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30, Buttercream 03, 1.18 Ounce Review:

I've used this stuff for a long time. It has a lovely hybrid gel/lotion texture that enables layering. If you want greater coverage, you can apply more coats, but just one layer—like a tinted moisturizer—will give you extremely nice coverage. I adore the material, and despite my wanderings, I always find myself returning to it. Additionally, when it was first sold to me, the salesman really went for broke with a story about how it contains coconut water, which accounts for how simple it is to rinse off your face (it cleans away very nicely), and I like to think that each time I use it, I'm applying cool coconut water to my face. Take some.

COVERGIRL Smoothers Lightweight BB Cream, 1 Tube (1.35 oz), Light to Medium 810 Skin Tones, Hydrating BB Cream with SPF 21 Sun Protection (packaging may vary) Review:

Like you, I was looking for a foundation that was lighter to wear every day but still provided minimal to light coverage without making me seem "heavy baked."Naturally, Amazon suggested to me two products: (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams and (1) CG Smoothers So that you don't have to, I purchased both and compared them. Please take note that I am a 30-year-old mother who continues to experience irregular skin tone and sporadic breakouts. Just life, nothing new...I typically don the following things;Revlon Colorstay foundation in shade 150, Buff- Light/medium Revlon Colorstay Powder in 830- Maybelline FitMe Powder in Porcelain (color 110).First, CG Smoothers, 805 Fair to LightThis product's consistency is incredibly light and smooth; it moisturizes more than it tints. Very thin coverage; a little goes a long way; does not, however, feel oppressive on the skin. The color is genuine and doesn't oxydize, which I adore. However, you unquestionably need a setting powder to renew from time to time. (4.5/5 stars)2)BB Creams by CG Clean Matte. It has a thick, heavy BB cream consistency that is comparable to sunscreen. It also has a very strong sunscreen smell. The medium coverage and extreme matteness, however, prevent your face from shining all day.You need a lot of stuff, and it's not very blendable. Please be aware that this product oxidizes and becomes darker. (3/5 stars)

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Aging Perfector Spf 20, Retinol Treatment, 20 Fair To Light, 1 Fl. Oz. Review:

I didn't expect this product to do much for my skin other than provide the medium, natural-looking coverage I wanted (or maybe just keep me from breaking out?). The coverage was perfect (velvety but not harsh matte, and it flawlessly evened out my red patches), and I would have been content with that.Look, I'm not proud of having makeup on when I went to bed. I swear I don't (and won't) make it a habit. When I awoke, I was certain that there would be skin effects, and I was ready to put up with them, BUT THERE WERE NONE! After a wash, my skin actually appeared to be in better shape than it had the day before.Should you wear this to sleep? No. But you can feel comfortable about wearing it for the day thanks to the retinol, the sunscreen, and the coverage.NOTE: When wearing this product, I use my NARS powder blush because my cream blush did not mix well over it.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Tinted Moisturizer, Light To Natural Organics, 1.5 Ounce Review:

I had a hard time finding a foundation since it seems that no matter what kind of foundation I use—even the lightest mineral powder—as my skin ages, I just end up looking made up. And everything appears to turn orange around me (including other PF products like their air cushion foundation). This has more color than I anticipated and offers a good amount of coverage, yet after application, it doesn't make me appear like I'm wearing anything and doesn't become orange. I think it's the best of both worlds. Still natural-looking, but better. It decreases the intensity, but won't cover blemishes—I still dab concealer on spots—but it's great for softening some imperfections and giving my skin a softer, more even tone overall. After applying all of my makeup, I find that it has sufficiently melded into place that I don't need to set it with powder, and on me, it provides the dewy but non-oily sheen I was seeking. Though not unpleasant, it has a faintly medicinal fragrance that dissipates rapidly. There haven't been any problems with it transferring to other things.I do use a moisturizer below, and I've discovered that if I don't let it dry completely before applying this cream, it balls up. I assume it doesn't mix well with the first layer. I feel that it holds up fairly well for me, but I don't need all-day wear. When my face becomes oily in the afternoon, I do blot with rice paper, and it tends to help me get through. I believe some setting powder might be effective for other people.

Skin Lightening Cream, Whitening Cream, Brightening Cream, Melasma Treatment Cream, Freckle Removal Cream For Face Brightening, Dark Spot, Skin Pigmentation, Age Spots For Face and Body Review:

I never write reviews, but for this cream, I feel compelled to share my experience. So happy I did. It leaves a fantastic base for foundation and settles in wonderfully with minimal stickiness. The aroma is not overbearing and is pleasant. The best part is that my face has a nice, healthy glow after just a week of use. I have white heads and black patches on my cheeks. I've only been using it for a month, but I'm seeing improvements already. My skin is clearer, and the patches are gradually getting smaller. My skin is so soft. I'm 30. This lotion definitely makes my skin look more plump. This moisturizes and plumps right away without causing outbreaks. It is a fantastic basis for makeup because it is not oily. I'm very happy with how well it minimizes my lip wrinkles. I detest these lines that developed overnight when I reached 30. This cream makes them look smooth and barely detectable. To cover your face and neck, you don't need a lot of material on your fingertips. I used to buy a cream that was non-greasy, provided decent coverage, and felt wonderful on my face because my skin used to be a little bit dry. It all happens with this cream. It feels quite smooth on, and I have no trouble giving it five stars. Overall, this face cream seems to be doing miracles for me, at least, and I will surely be using it in the near future. You ought to get some good retinal effects if you use this face cream in combination with them. This cream works as advertised. And my skin gets healthier the more I use it. I've tried various creams for years, but this one is by far the finest. I've just changed the order. I heartily recommend using this cream.
