To use with my electric pressure cooker, I purchased this. Although I have only used it once, I like it. After letting the eggs cool for a few minutes on the counter, they cooked nicely and were simple to extract from the mold. I should have covered them with parchment paper, as I had read in another review, but I didn't. Next time, I'll make sure to follow this procedure. Without being covered, the condensation from the lid gathers in the egg cups.Cleanup was simple. Each cup can be cleaned by gently swirling a dishrag inside of each one. Much simpler than using a muffin pan. There is no recipe included with this mold. I used 8 eggs, around 2 cups of milk, a touch of dry mustard, salt, and pepper. I put my fillings and cheese to each cup after adding roughly 1/4 cup of the mixture to each. I conducted a rapid release after 10 minutes of cooking them on Manuel.Both molds were fairly simple to remove using the rack. It took less than 30 minutes to do the whole process. Easy supper completed! Instead of crafting a sling out of tin foil, I can see myself using this rack frequently. Since they cannot be used in a pressure cooker, the coverings that came with the molds are not something I anticipate using much. The coverings are useful if you planned to store the molds in the refrigerator with food inside of them.

My kids frequently request new egg-based recipes, so I got this mostly to make Sous Vide Egg Bites. I had also seen recipes that called for such molds that I wanted to try in my Instant Pot. Additionally, the trivet that comes with this set includes handles that will make removal from the IP easier. I also recently purchased a cheesecake pan for the IP. I doubled the recipe and produced 14 egg bits at once; however, because I live at a high altitude, I had to cook them for a little longer (10 minutes, followed by an additional 10 minutes of natural pressure release):Ingredients: four eggs, big.4 cooked and crumbled bacon (or turkey bacon) pieces1 Shredded half a cup of strong cheddar cheesea half-cup of cottage cheese1/fourth cup heavy cream1 teaspoon spicy sauceChop 1/4 cup spinach; season with salt and pepper.Instructions:In the silicone molds of the baby food maker, add some bacon slices to the bottom. It arrived sooner than I anticipated. Product was properly packaged to prevent damage. The item is as good as it is described. The cups were far smaller than I anticipated, which was my initial impression (thus the 4 stars). I cleaned the item before using it as directed, then I poached two large eggs to fill the cups. Extra large eggs would probably not be acceptable because giant eggs completely filled the cups. The cups were challenging to put in the holder without spilling, which is another factor in the 4* rating. I think this may have been prevented if the cups had been put in the holder before it was placed in the pan, and I shall use this approach the next time. Overall, I'm happy with the product and would suggest it—with the caveat that extra-large eggs might not be compatible. By the way, the eggs were excellent. I generated crisp whites and soft yolks after 6 minutes of cooking.UPDATE: I can add the following after using this for a while (often 4 eggs, three times a week). I've started putting the eggs in the cups (within the cup holder), picking up the entire thing by the large handle, and setting it down in the pan (Hope that makes sense). Before cracking the eggs, I spray vegetable or canola oil into each cup. The eggs wouldn't come out without shattering (I forgot once). Additionally, I changed the cooking time and procedure. I heat the water before adding the eggs from the cup holder to the pan. I then lower the heat to setting #3, which is, I believe, 30% of High. The result of this setting is a mild boil as opposed to a simmer. For a runny yolk, I cook for 5 minutes, for a semi-runny yoke, 5.5 minutes, and for a firm yoke, 6 minutes. I genuinely enjoy this product.

These tiny baskets are quite useful. Here are some suggestions for people who need them (I use an electric stove): First, thoroughly spray or grease the inside of the poachers. Before adding your egg poachers, bring the cooking water (approximately 1 inch in a saucepan) to a rolling boil. Place the greased poachers in the water and turn the heat down to low, but do not simmer. Give each poacher an egg. Cook in covered pan to desired doneness. I discovered that the cooking time was a touch longer than what the seller had recommended — around 5-6 minutes for just hard enough whites with runny yolks, longer if you prefer firmer yolks. The hardest part of the operation was getting the poachers out of the pan because they are floppy and water from the pan can quickly submerge the egg. In the end, I had to use tongs to hold one corner of the poacher stable and erect while I slid a spoon under it and lifted the entire poacher out of the water. Then I just removed each egg from the poacher and placed it on a platter. The eggs were done just so. The poachers did not get eggs stuck to them, and cleanup was simple. Due to the difficulty in getting them out of the pan, I only awarded these poachers 4 stars. Other than that, they appear to accomplish their jobs fairly well.

This product is excellent. These cups are the ideal size for the huge eggs I typically purchase. The topper is excellent, and I have successfully used it ever since. The small spoons with my ordinary flatware are too huge to fit inside an egg, but these spoons are just the right size to scoop out the egg. When I'm done using my set, I store it in the lovely box that it comes in. The only thing I have to say—and this is really just a minor quibble—is that the cups have Mevis Line written on them. I truly must give it five stars. My experience preparing and eating eggs has been significantly simplified and made more convenient by this tiny set, which I never realized I needed. I've only been using it for a few days, but I can't image ever boiling eggs without it. Having eggs for breakfast makes things faster, cleaner, and easier. I heartily urge everyone to try it!

The objective of boiling is to cook the eggs, so yes, it gets hot! Many folks burned their fingers because they neglected to read the directions. Why, do you suppose, were pot holders created? You're asking for problems if you hold your fingers over the openings where live steam is pouring up. Additionally, until the eggs are set, simmer, not boil. And why on earth would you fry anything in a pan that isn't flat on the bottom?Any non-stick cooking spray will work, and the eggs will easily slip out of the cups. To avoid having your fingers scorched, remove the cups using a set of tongs. For the price, this product is excellent.Little gastronomic hints: add a pat of butter and some finely chopped fresh chives to the cups; add hot or mild paprika to taste; salt and pepper are also nice ideas. Put a tablespoon of cream in the cups with any of the aforementioned alternatives to make creamed eggs. More ideas exist than I can possibly print here.I advise anyone who wants to experiment with cooking eggs in a different way than the traditional fried or scrambled method to do so without spending a bunch.

These are sturdy and well-made; I bought them to use in breakfast sandwiches with round eggs, and they work excellent for that. To ensure a tight seal and prevent egg leakage, you must add the egg gradually at first. The main drawback was that we only got the brush's tip; this made it challenging to utilize. Both non-stick and simple to use.A word of advice: Heat your skillet to medium high before lowering it to low. Spray the rings with cooking spray before placing them in the skillet. Crack eggs into the rings, cover with the lid, and cook on LOW (we cannot stress this enough) until nearly set. the rings, flip the food, and finish cooking the other side.If you don't do it this way, the bottoms of your eggs will burn before the rest of them are cooked through enough to prevent spillage when you remove the ring. They will always turn out perfectly if you just follow those guidelines. It took me a few tries before I realized I couldn't figure that out and nearly gave up.
