Bread is traditionally made from a mixture of no less that 80% by weight of a whole-grain rye flour with ~15% of a second-grade wheat flour and ~5% of rye or, rarely, barley malt, leavened by a separately prepared starter culture made like a choux pastry, by diluting the flour by a near-boiling (95-96 °C) water, and adding the yeast after cooling the mix to 65-67 °C, but then mostly inoculated by the previous batches of dough instead of the dry yeast.
Borodinsky bread (Russian: бородинÑкий хлеб) is a dark brown sourdough rye bread of Russian origin.
It is then sweetened and colored with beet sugar molasses, and flavored with salt and spices.

Ah, the pleasure of enjoying real bread once more! I grew up in Europe and have travelled to the East Coast, both places where you can find good bread. There is never any quality bread available in Albuquerque. My breakfasts and lunches are now a treat that I eagerly anticipate thanks to the availability of this wonderful, dense rye that does not crumble under the weight of a few slices of meat, that can be buttered without falling apart, and that tastes powerful and aggressive, like rye should. I'm grateful.

Two packs of 8" Italian sub rolls
Freshness guaranteed

You won't get Italian rolls like these down here—I was born and raised in Maine and now reside in Savannah, Georgia. A genuine Maine Italian sandwich is also impossible to find. As a result, you must CREATE THEM YOURSELF AND PURCHASE THESE ROLLS. It made me happy to discover these on Amazon. I'm from Central Maine, so it immediately transported me back to Litchfield, Sabattus, Greene, Turner, Lewiston, Auburn, Mechanic Falls, Lisbon, Pittston, Gardiner, Augusta, Waterville, and Fairfield. Yes, the price of these rolls is outrageous. But when you're hankering after a certain drug—in this example, an Italian—you'll essentially give up your firstborn. Thankfully, I'm only forgoing one mortgage payment. #worthit

Rich, soft and aromatic.
The crusty interior is wonderful when torn apart exposing the garlic cloves and dipped into extra virgin olive oil for a scrumptious bite.
Roasted with whole garlic cloves and extra virgin olive oil for a perfectly moist and savory flavor.
$234
Except when consuming one of the many garlic cloves baked into this bread, it doesn't have a strong garlic flavor or aroma. It resembles the La Brea "take and bake" bread almost exactly. But I don't think it's a negative. Before adding olive oil and dipping the bread into the mixture, I may easily ground up fresh garlic cloves if I want a strong garlic flavor. It is significant and fulfilling. Although not too challenging to chew, the shell objects to the liquid interior. The interior is substantial as well, not light as if I were eating air.Overall, it was a decent loaf of bread that was practically artisanal in quality, and it cost only a few cents more than a comparable loaf from Trader Joe's. Without a doubt, I'll purchase again.

A classically smooth flavor and a thin, golden crust.
Great for sandwiches.
Delicious with roasted red peppers and goat cheese.
$234
I've bought this twice, including today, and I enjoy that it's freshly made the morning of delivery. The interior is really soft and the exterior crusty. I've had it with goat cheese and grapes, spicy chicken salad, or sliced duck breast—all things I got from Amazon Fresh. It was scrumptious. I'll try freezing half of it as soon as I get it to see if it keeps fresher longer. There are no problems with the bread's quality, flavor, or cost.

A hearth-baked round loaf made with La Brea Bakery starter.
This bountiful bread has a rich, yet subtle flavor.

This bread is excellent, comparable to the freshly baked bread found at the neighborhood supermarket. The only thing I would have liked was a slicing option.

This was tasty, although it required to cook through a little longer than was suggested. Although the interior was a little too soft for our tastes (we prefer Texas toast style garlic bread because we can make it a little crispy), this garlic bread was just as nice as other big brands for a loaf.
