I bought this to play around with and experiment with. I have started preparing items that I have fermented at home, particularly breads that have been pan-fried. This increases the amount of lactic acid produced by fermentation just enough to let the baking soda addition serve as an effective leavener for my objectives.I developed an allergy to wheat-based items, particularly commercial breads, despite the fact that none of them contained gluten. It's probable that I have a yeast allergy. In any event. It is wonderful to have a leavening alternative after moving to oats and other gluten-free foods. This product's reasonable potassium ratio is why I bought it. You can virtually compare two portions to one healthy banana. Although distinct, the flavor is not overbearing. It can depend on what you're eating or mixing it with. I give this to an older cousin who has diabetes and it seems to have helped her become a little more mobile over the past few weeks. I give it to her with half a container of an Atkins shake or on toast with low sugar strawberry jam. I haven't tested any other cream of tartar brands, but so far I'm happy with this one.

It made it possible for cream of tartar to contact my other package contents (not a lot, but enough) I wish there was a nutrition fact on the packaging.
