You always learn about those things when something negative occurs. However, I had assumed that nothing had changed about this drawing board (which is exactly how I discovered it).It boasts a beautiful LCD display that is bright and glare-free. However, in order for your line to get thicker, better, and bolder when using it, you must push it firmly (much like you would a pen). It's simple to accomplish when you're an adult, but I've discovered that when my five-year-old son is doing it, it's a little more challenging for him to push harder so that everything will seem great and obvious. Years ago, I bought what I think was the first brand of this kind of stuff. These serve as notepads for my children as they solve math problems, etc. When the batteries on the second product ran out after about a year, I was unhappy to discover that they were intentionally not replaceable. I bought two of these after reading multiple reviews and realizing that this product's batteries could be changed (the seller even included an extra cell). They appear to be of decent quality. Possibly not as strong in terms of the plastic frame, but adequate. For travel and such situations, a protective cover would be nice (though I'm not sure how they would fare if something applied excessive pressure to the screen?). We'll see how well they endure. The difference between the two was that one had magnetic stickers attached to the back and the other did not. We don't use it as a bulletin board for the refrigerator, but we did find it odd that one was either missing stickers or the other was possibly a return of some sort. I hope it holds up over time with middle schoolers.

Starting with the Bamboo Pen in 2011 and continuing with the original Intuos and this one, I've only ever used Wacom pen tablets. They all seem to function the same to me. It's an excellent, affordable entry-level tablet that would be ideal for teenagers that are passionate about graphic design. The only updates to the Wacom website that I don't like. I had access to support and upgrades for my bamboo pen well into the initial Intuos' lifespan. It was OK up until a few months ago when I finally acquired my first Intuos, which was around three years ago. As I would have done with the bamboo, I visited the website to get any necessary patches or upgrades. But none of them were successful. A new tablet was required of me. I tried to leave Wacom at first because I didn't like the way they handled assistance, but my current financial situation prevented me from upgrading. So I bought this tiny tablet. It's decent, hasn't changed since the bamboo pen, is smaller and has a nicer, longer chord than the original Intuos. Would not purchase if you are an expert, but if you are a beginner or a hobbyist like me and want to learn how to draw on a tablet, this is a suitable piece of gear for you. Just watch out for Wacom's attempts to phase out outdated tablet software when the new generation is released.

Overall, I'm content with this glove. They are great for reducing friction as I sketch on my graphics tablet, and I have two of them (one at home and one portable). I can now make pretty good sweeping movements the first time, therefore I've definitely noticed a speed and quality improvement in my work (instead of ctrl-z until I get it right). It's wonderful that portion of it, then.The one disappointing aspect is that you can still use touch sensitive gadgets while wearing the glove, which was one of the main reasons I bought it—so I could draw on touch devices without worrying about my palm. Today's software and gadgets often have good palm rejection, but it is still a problem, and that is why I initially purchased them. I only docked one rating because I believe if I had read more carefully before buying, I could have realized this was the case. However, I felt it was the sole usage for these gloves, so I just expected that would be a feature.Anyway, fantastic glove all around. I'm still looking for someone to assist me with the palm rejection problem.

This tiny tablet is fantastic. 25 years ago, I stopped using mouse and switched to Wacom tablets. I don't know how many I've gone through, but after becoming bored of paying the Wacom tax, I tried some other brands. I also tried Huon tablets, but I had to continuously charge their pens' batteries. What do I do now that mine won't charge?I love the XP-Pen I've been using with my MacBook Pro computer! Their engineers completed their research. I don't understand how it could cost $25 and still generate profits for everyone. Don't be put off, though; this tablet functions quite well, and the pointer is very solid and doesn't wobble as it does on the Huon tablet. Plus, there are no batteries inside the pen to replace or degrade. On my Linux Mint Cinnamon desktop, it also functions.
