I couldn't find the 3.4 Gallon Recycling Bin in stores, so I had to get one online. The 7 Gallon bin was available at Home Depot. Before I could discover one with a decent print of the "Recycle" emblem, I had to look through a number of them. Many of them had scuffs, smears, or other visual problems. Check the print quality if you can get these containers in stores. I was lucky because the 3.4 Gallon container I bought online had a professionally done print. I adore the color blue and the recycle logo. Unlike a decal, which is put on only one side, the logo is printed on both sides. The opposite side is empty. On both of mine, the logos were placed more near the top and were nicely centered. The Rubbermaid Bins are well-made and don't have the white stress lines like cheaper ones do at the rims and edges.Low-cost Dollar Store Due to the 4 Gallon bags' taper, they fit the 3.4 Gallon bin just fine but leave a little gap on the bottom borders. As long as you don't overfill it or load it with heavy items that could drag the bag off the rim, there shouldn't be a problem. For shredded paper that I bag up for recycling, I use my 3.4 Gallon bucket. To identify and adorn them, I bought some 3/4 inch Vinyl Lettering stickers.

This device has an enormous water capacity.-It's somewhat more rigid than your typical Rubbermaid storage containers, which is something to take into account if you're using it to collect water or something.Cons: -The bottom can become sticky. Even though I will never LOVE a trashcan, this one gets a high. It's bigger and simpler to use than my old garbage can. The one I had before was made of plastic and had a pop-up lid. Eventually, the tab that popped the lid up stopped working properly, and the lid just wanted to pop up all the time. Annoying. However, THIS bin is bigger, the lid never drops down unless you push it to put something in the garbage, and it discreetly clings onto the plastic trash bag. Since my kitchen isn't black and silver, I wish it came in a few more colors, but it's not overtly noticeable and serves its purpose admirably. I enjoy it!Since I frequently base my own purchases off of the evaluations of others, I enjoy leaving reviews for things that I adore and reading customer comments. Around the home, I have a few garbage cans of this size, and they work wonderfully.I have one in each bathroom, underneath the sink, lined with a shopping bag to hold tissues, cotton swabs, and other little, unneeded sanitary items. Since I don't need a large trashcan for tiny screws, tiny circuits, and bits of wiring, I keep one next to my workbench for electronics projects. Since threads and scraps of cloth don't require a large garbage can, my wife uses one for sewing.Be aware that although the garbage can is small (much smaller than most of the "bathroom-size" cans you'll find at local department shops), it is durable. Although I appreciate the can, I didn't anticipate a medium-sized can. The majority of those who are leaving negative reviews, in my opinion, perhaps expected something a little bigger!

It's been a tremendous gift that I purchased this to use as a diaper bin. Even when it is completely filled, we only smell the unpleasantness when the lid is open. Otherwise, you wouldn't be aware of the horrors that lay within, lol! Since I acquired it, it has continued to operate effectively on the same batteries. Replacement bags are simple, and the detachable bag ring is great. The bag is safe and totally hidden with the lid closed. Although I'm not sure how much the charcoal filter contributes, the odor when the can is closed was my biggest concern, and it serves that function flawlessly! The unit also has the bonus of looking terrific!I've been using this every day for about six months, and it's a workhorse! It's still powered by the same batteries I bought when I first got it, and it works just as well at preventing diaper stink!Update: A few weeks ago, the lid decided to fully give up on me after functioning flawlessly since last November. I replaced the batteries, thinking they had finally run out, but nothing changed. Nothing at all—no light, no motion. I almost just gave up on it, but I believed I should give customer service a shot. I sent them an email outlining the issue and including a screenshot of my initial order. To my pleasant surprise, I received a response to my email within 24 hours along with directions on calling for assistance and an incident number. When I contacted, I assumed they would want me to send in the lid, but to my surprise, they informed me that their policy had changed and that all I needed to do to get a new lid was pay a $9.95 service/shipping and handling cost. They have zero desire for the old one to return. I had no problem paying the price because sending them the original lid would have cost more. A week or so later, I got my brand-new lid! I simply can't express my gratitude enough for itouchless' excellent customer service. Because recycling where I live is free and you have to pay per bag for trash, I was initially shopping for a huge recycling bin (I also got the trashcan to match). Since my family creates the majority of recyclable waste, I decided to acquire two of these. We used to use the inexpensive ones from Lowe's or Home Depot, but we had to change them rather frequently because they started to break or fall apart after six to eight months of constant use. I've owned all of these bins for a little over a year, and they've done a great job of withstanding the trash man's abuse week after week while maintaining their original appearance. In comparison to anything I have ever used, the craftsmanship of these bins is excellent. They feel sturdy, and the plastic is not thin like it was with some of the other bins I've previously owned. They have also performed admirably during Maine winters. I don't feel like the wheels on this thing are going to come off if it gets a bit rough, and unlike some bins, they work excellent on gravel driveways (Yay). The lid is fastened to the can and is very lightweight. If you require something that locks and will keep a bear or other animals out, this may not be the container for you. This doesn't bother me because I don't require a locking container for myself. In any case, the trash and recycling bins are excellent. Any of these bins are highly recommended because they are durable and last for a very long period.

Trash and recycling are good. For two persons and three to four days' worth of garbage, one trash can is plenty. Although not always a flawless closing, the seal works well with trash bags of other brands. No smells escape. lid closing quietly.CON: Bottles of things fill up rapidly, making recycling less than ideal. This process is made more laborious by the requirement to sort our recycling (but doable). Each bin has a handle that can be used to remove the bin from the container. It is cheaply made, and if you compact the bin as we do, there is a chance that the bag may rupture when you pull it out because the handle rubs against the side of the bag. Although the handles are removable, doing so prevents one from pulling the bag out of the bin. I had to deal with the can and bag for three minutes, then I had to dump it carefully so the bag wouldn't rip and leak onto the ground. Trust me, pulling a bag out should just take 10 seconds, so 3-5 minutes is a long time. The process of fiddling with the handle while a new bag is being replaced takes an additional two minutes. There is too lot to consider for a $150 can.It is necessary to design the bags' removal with more consideration. The next time, I would search for something more practical and less streamlined.It functions, is silent, and appears to be okay. merely difficult to manage It occupies some room yet doesn't have a bad appearance.

In my kitchen, I've already gone through two automatic trash cans. One was way too big, and before the trash bag was full, the garbage would begin to smell. The other was irregularly open and had a little aperture.
