Given the cost, I was worried about performance, but I was pleasantly delighted. Even with somewhat high pressure water behind it, the adjustable flow functions as intended; there are detents so the setting indicates where you left it. I utilised a Hunter Irrigation Valve to connect to a 1/2" main flex tubing line and around 25 1/4" lines to connect to each of these emitters throughout my front yard. Water was turned on, the flow rate was increased until the valve stopped shrieking, and each emitter's position in relation to each plant was altered.It couldn't have been simpler, and I'm saving a tonne of water because nothing is wasted and no water is lost to evaporation. The plants are also content and healthy.
