First off, let me say that this tool has more than enough power, thus my review is predicated on using this grinder to the fullest extent possible. The facility's entire supply of air is supplied by a 115 CFM Sullair compressor, and man, this tool EATS IT UP!Key characteristics: •VERY robust casing—as a welder, I've used it frequently because some welds are challenging to complete according to specifications. As a result, grinding and rewelding are frequent. It has thus been dropped, mistreated, and subjected to the kind of extreme circumstances found in a production facility. But there are no fractures or indications that any real harm has been done.•It has a lot of bite—as I've already mentioned, grinding welds is common but must be done quickly. Other air grinders lack the torque necessary to effectively grind the welds. It's a different story with the 872. Even after using all of my might, the speed of the weld only drops to around 2/3 of its maximum spin. Other grinders, including those made by Harbor Freight, are nearly nonexistent!•Weighty—this item is fairly heavy, which undoubtedly aids in control and vibration reduction. There isn't much else to add to it.• Simple chuck key operation! Bit switching is pretty easy. not obstructed or cross-threaded. Additionally, it doesn't need to be tightened like a lug nut. This is really practical.•A trigger that is impervious to jamming! When tugging it, it is always smooth.Overall, the CP 872 offers the best value for your money. Just be careful to maintain a firm grip on it; else, it can fly out of your hands!

No more banging your knuckles together when it breaks free while fumbling with two nonstandard wrenches. comes with mounting hardware and a (rather peculiar) rubber "sock" to deflect exhaust air away from what you are working on.I haven't used this tool much yet, but I'm already enjoying it.My only minor concern is that there were no instructions provided that even briefly described the purpose of the rubber sock item or how to attach it to the very baffling hardware. A 40 page guide would be unnecessary for such a straightforward instrument; instead, how about a single sheet of paper explaining this attachment and how to install it?

The tool functions as intended, but the accessory kits are subpar, the drill bits burnt up and had to be discarded, are subpar, and the cut off discs are subpar. The Rotary Tool works fine; it's just that the accessory tool kit is subpar, in fact, it is the saddest kit I have ever seen! Ass the Mandrell screws are too big and won't fit in the disc, had to enlarge the hole in the disc to use, also the end of the wrench won't fit the screws, had to grind down so it would fit, and also some of the mandrels screws are Phillips head, had to find a Phillips screw

"Made in the USA with global materials," says my product. I need to cut a bushing on a lower control arm of my Ford pickup, therefore I'm curious about the 1-1/2 inch diameter. I wanted a 1-1/2 inch cut off wheel and am considering the Lenox 1972914 MetalMax since the bolt in the bushing is seized and requires severe surgery in a small place to be released. A guard would make it very difficult to get in there to make the cut. This wheel is formed of steel with diamond studded edges, which looks to be a more durable material than some of the other wheel compositions. The Lenox wheel is good to more than 40,000 rpm, contrary to what I had previously read, which claimed that it is only restricted to roughly 10,000 rpm. I shouldn't need to use a guard to make the cut, as Robert Hart's helpful explanation of the significance of the "1-1/2 inch" section of the die grinder's description indicates.With words like "mandrel," "arbor," "shank," and "collet" being flung around carelessly in sales and discussion literature, this has been a genuine terminology education for me.

I needed a die grinder for work, and Sunex's excellent quality and more than fair pricing convinced me to buy from them. I was eager to test it out when I received this kit. I couldn't wait to utilize it and couldn't wait to get to the store. I was astounded. Despite the tool's relative smallness, it is incredibly comfortable to use. I have yet to discover how it manages to tear like a son of a pistol without leaving your palm numb or sore. Power or comfort are typically given up in order for the other to surpass. At both, this gadget excels. Satisfactory is not even close to expressing how I feel about this die grinder. I'll be purchasing a second one for my house, and I've advised all of my coworkers who require a grinder to purchase this package. The grinder itself is well worth the price even without the bits and pads.

Excellent for the price; some warming of the head, but not uncomfortable. They are a touch too quick for inexpensive 1/8th-inch bits, but any competent Dremel bit will operate even better with one of these. They are also incredibly adaptable, quickly switching between engraving, carving, cutting, and grinding with no effort. It requires a lot of pressure to torque stall at 105 psi and is easier to regulate than an electric. Consumes a lot of air, yet is entirely worthwhile despite the trouble of an air compressor. It weighs almost nothing, makes less noise than an electric rotary tool, and can be held like a pencil for improved control and accuracy of use. However, it would benefit from having a longer air line than the one that was included with it. Just a cardboard box serves as the factory's packaging, which is inadequate. The fact that the packing contains a parts diagram for the tool is, in my opinion, its best feature.

I've owned this thing since July of last year. My coworkers advised me to purchase the Kobalt models from Lowe's, which I did. They promised me a "lifetime warranty," yet after only four months, mine broke. No big thing, I answered, I have a lifetime warranty. I took it to Lowe's, where I received some pushback on the warranty before receiving a replacement. Two months later, that one failed. I chose Ingersoll Rand as my superior brand after returning it and receiving a refund. I have to admit that this weapon has a ton more strength than that Kobalt. It has survived accidental drops from tables and my welding machine (which is about 4' high), and it still holds up well. I occasionally need to remove welds in confined spaces where a grinder won't fit. This thing simply chews through the metal with the correct bit. I've been quite happy with this product. Definitely going to purchase another
