K&H Pet Products Outdoor Kitty House, Insulated Cat Shelter (Heated or Unheated) Review:

This house was simple to put together, and we were impressed with the quality, as other reviewers have noted. Along with the house, we ordered the heated pad. For the past two years, we've been feeding a female stray cat, and we've made some headway in earning her trust (within 3 feet now without fleeing). We questioned how she would react to this novel feature. We set up the house on our bright front porch but initially left the plastic flaps off (they velcro on and off easily). She would enter once we placed some special delicacies inside and immediately exit. We continued it and daily added snacks. We observed her leaving the house one morning. She had definitely spent the night there because when we would look outside as it started to get cooler, she would remain where it was warm and comfortable instead of scooting and running. We added one flap after a week, and the other flap was introduced last week. At first, she didn't like them, but she grew accustomed to them. She is now comfortably nestled inside practically all the time. See image. Our best decision ever. It's a fantastic product at an even better price. I'd wholeheartedly endorse.

ecoFLEX Albany Outdoor Feral Cat House Review:

Excellent. I purchased two! First of all, this house looks pretty great and won't be an eyesore in your garden. I just had a minor issue with one of the two—a screw hole on the roof that wasn't properly drilled or aligned. What does it matter? I have three out of four, which completely secures the roof. The floor is currently covered in towel padding, on top of which I've placed an electric cat heating pad. Then I've got two baby blankets tucked up inside for cuddling (not blocking the doors). If I know I have a cat inside the house during severe weather, I cover the areas of the house without doors with a blanket and heavy plastic sheeting to provide additional insulation and wind protection. I merely use a few clothes pins to hold everything in place. In the event of a severe snowstorm, I will place an open folding lawn chair in front of the entrance, acting as an awning to prevent them from becoming snowed in. During a snowstorm, you must take precautions to prevent an animal from becoming stuck inside your home.Updated image: The house performed admirably inclement weather. The heated water bowl and outside heating pad I installed inside the cat condo are making the cat VERY HAPPY. Two images are supplied to demonstrate how I set up the door and, of course, my content, dozing, and comfortable cat resident. Please take note that THIS IS THE TRICK if any of you are experiencing trouble locking the vinyl doors. 1. Cut roughly 8 evenly spaced slices through the panel of the vinyl (on the side opposite the two tabs) to create miniature warehouse vinyl doors. The cats struggle to push through a vinyl panel that is totally solid, but not when it has been cut to simulate a fringe. They can push in and out considerably more easily as a result. When the vinyl door is ready, attach it to the INSIDE of the house (NOT THE OUTSIDE). With some Gorilla tape, double-secure the top of the door (from the inside). The door does not move and is not exposed to the elements. This is quite effective. I hope my advice is helpful.

PETYELLA Heated Outdoor Cat House Weatherproof - Easy to Assemble - Feral Cat Shelter Heaven Review:

The feral cat in our neighborhood hangs out in our backyard and waits for food, so I bought it for her. He's a little wary, so I worried that the concept of a cage wouldn't sit well with him. The cat hut was delivered and was easy to put together. About three minutes passed. I removed the side door, brought everything out back in the chilly rain, and plugged it in (as noted by others, the timer is not rated for outdoor use, so I skipped this part). I placed a tiny plate of food outside the cat home, and my hesitant little friend was inside eating and enjoying not being cold and wet in about 10 minutes. We are currently on our third day, and he spends the majority of the day at his new residence. I'm praying the snow won't cause the home to collapse when it comes. It appears to be strong enough to withstand a typical snowfall. I'm ecstatic that this little boy can stay dry and toasty during the winter.

K&H PET PRODUCTS K&H Manufacturing A-Frame Multi-Kitty Outdoor Heated Kitty House Review:

Three feral cats who dwell in my backyard are part of a family that I purchased this heated outdoor cat housing for. Despite the fact that I reside in Florida, it has been in the 20s here for the past few nights, and it's still just November, so I wanted to be sure they had a comfortable spot to sleep or hang out throughout the winter.Although the cats haven't entered it yet (I put it outside today), it shouldn't take long because Baby Gray, one of the cats, is already interested in it. See my pictures of the cat house's front (without the door) and back (with the door). The cat house is really sturdy, it was a breeze to set up, and when I tested it, it functioned flawlessly. It is big enough for all three cats, even if they are on the smaller side. The cloth that was used on it also seems to be waterproof, but I'll spray it with a waterproofing spray just to be sure.People have expressed their desire for covers for the two doors on several reviews. The doors that came with mine are clear, heavy-duty plastic, and they can be removed. Older versions must be the ones without doors. When they begin utilizing it, hopefully, I will update my review. And as always, Prime Shipping from Amazon is awesome!

K&H Pet Products Extreme Weather Kitty Pad Petite Tan 9" x 12" 25W Review:

Pros:- Feels cozy to the touch- consumes just 25W- compact enough to fit in even tiny cat housing- Reinforced cable provides comfort in knowing that the cat won't nibble through it.Cons:– unpaddedI use this for our outdoor cat overall. It's relatively little, which is good because it doesn't occupy the entire cat house (she can choose to lay on this or on the soft bedding). I suppose I thought it would have some form of padding, but it doesn't, and the plastic is rather stiff. It's warm to the touch when plugged in, but not hot, so I wonder how comfy this truly is. Given that the cat spends all of her time inside the house now that the weather is frigid outside, she must prefer it.

Kitty Tube The Outdoor Insulated Cat House w/Pet Pillow Review:

For the past six months, my mother has been providing food to a stray cat named Ms. Kitty in her neighborhood. My mother doesn't "want" a pet, and the local animal shelter hasn't been interested in taking the cat in, but as winter drew near, she started to worry about how to keep Ms. Kitty warm and protected from the weather. She created a variety of boxes using different padding and insulating materials, including a cardboard box that was waterproofed by wrapping it in a shower curtain.I made the financial decision to invest in Ms. Kitty even though she was a "stray" as Mom's birthday in November drew near. I initially started researching the insulated(?) Igloo dog and cat houses, but I stumbled into the Kitty Tube in the course of my investigation. In the end, I preferred the Kitty Tube more because it had better insulation, I thought it was more aesthetically pleasing, the entrance was smaller (better to keep out the elements and larger animals), the lid can be removed for easy cleaning, the interior is easier to access, and it also came with a bed. Add the MADE IN THE USA!, lifetime guarantee, and recyclable material details, and you have a triple-win situation. The Kitty Tube may not have arrived in time for Mom's birthday, which was only a day away, due to my procrastination at the last minute. I could only choose one shipment option from Amazon, so I went ahead and made the purchase while anticipating a delayed delivery. However, I discovered on the Kitty Tube company page that consumers in several locations, including Illinois, where my mother resides, could get their orders delivered faster. I emailed Kitty Tube to inquire about this delivery method (even though my order had already been placed). Thursday morning early hours found me in bed. When I finally opened my eyes, Jim from Kitty Tube had already replied to my email, changed the shipper for Mom's Kitty Tube, and issued a $18 refund to cover the difference in shipping costs. He concluded by wishing my mother a happy birthday. What kind of customer service is that?Mom's birthday was the next day, on Friday, and what should show up but her brand-new Kitty Tube! She first had no idea what it was. She needed assistance from a visiting uncle to open the box and see what was inside. She sobbed in relief when she realized it was a weatherproof cat housing for Ms. Kitty. She had no idea how anxious she had been trying to keep the cat warm and secure outside during the winter. My uncle moved the Kitty Tube to its new location on my mother's covered back patio after delivering Ms. Kitty's cardboard box with a shower curtain to the garage. When Ms. Kitty was first placed inside the container with the lid off, she immediately ran out the door. Then Mom covered the cat bed in the Kitty Tube with Ms. Kitty's favorite fleece blanket and placed her back in. Ms. Kitty continued to avoid the area, but she was beginning to understand. By the end of the day, she was going into the Kitty Tube by herself, cuddling her fleece blanket, and taking a sleep. After dusk, Mom went outside once more to see if Ms. Kitty was still in the Kitty Tube. "Are you in there, Ms. Kitty?" she said. Ms. Kitty remained in her bed and meowed in agreement from within her new home. My mother is OVERJOYED. Consequently, I am too!Just so you know, the only thing I did not expect was that my Mom's Kitty Tube is black. The color appears more silvery-gray in the Amazon images. Mom and Ms. Kitty, however, are undoubtedly not grumbling.Mom and I are separated by 2,000 miles, so I called her that evening to see how her birthday had gone. All she could talk about during our two hours on the phone, I believe, was the Kitty Tube. She reported that she frequently went outside to inspect it as if it were a brand-new automobile and repeatedly exclaimed that it was the "Cadillac of cat houses"! You now know what Mom and Ms. Kitty have to say.Once more, many thanks to Kitty Tube LLC for making Mom's birthday special and building an excellent home for outdoor kitties!

K&H Pet Products Outdoor Kitty House Extra-Wide Olive - Outdoor Cat Shelter (Heated or Unheated) Review:

I bought this house for a feral cat who hangs out on my deck constantly but won't enter the house. I had to adapt because there isn't an outlet nearby to plug in the heated version. I lined the floor, sides, and roof of the house with reflectix before I put it together. In case of rain, I wrapped the entire home in heavy-gauge plastic, set it up on a tiny skid, and covered it with a tarp. I used styrofoam as insulation for the interior bottom, put reflectix on it, and then placed a "mystery purr cushion" inside a polar fleece pillow case. For more insulation for the winter, I intend to place some straw around it and beneath the skid. My stray cat imagines himself to be in heaven. He may lay out inside while still keeping a look out for more "critters" approaching because he is safe. He is a content child. (For a stray cat that I have been feeding for years, I do have the heated version in front of my house. When winter arrives, he rarely leaves the house (again, under a tarp because the house is NOT weatherproof and will become wet inside in heavy rain).

Extreme Consumer Products 2019 New and Improved Collapsible Indoor/Outdoor Pet Cat House - Standard and Heated Review:

I've previously bought this kind of house from other people. Unlike other homes and heated pads I've bought online and from local shops, this one's heated pad works much better than the others; you can truly feel some heat to the touch. It is used by our feral, who fared well over the winter.
