My doggles have two problems. My terrier prefers to come when he wants, not when called, and my wiener barks a lot. I was upset when it first came. No battery, no cover over the battery chamber. I decided to give it a shot anyway after locating an extra 9 volt. First impressions are obviously quite important, therefore I didn't have high hopes. The two Bassett Hounds we have bark. Often! I waited for my chance. We found a gorgeous young (1 year 2 months) male, Med-Large, Doberman/Lab mix dog who was VERY energetic (but sweet).
