While some critics thought this wasn't excellent, I thought it was fantastic. Although the fabric isn't much different from a blue tarp, it has been well-sewn, and I was able to pull it really tight without experiencing any signs of breakdown.I purchased a 20'x10' tent, but it turned out that the 20' was too large for the location I had in mind. As a result, I converted the tent into a 13' long one by using all of the legs but not all of the length supports.After joining the sections together, I used duct tape to reinforce each support. To reduce the size of the tarp (for the roof tarp), I folded it in toward the center. I then used extra-wide white duct tape from Walmart, and I ran a cable inside my fold for additional support.View imagesThe poles are a little wobbly first attached, but after being duct taped, they felt robust and solid.If you wanted, you could make it only 6 feet tall (see pics)I advise using extra-wide white duct tape because it works well and increases pole strength. To seal the corner connections, I did so (buy the Gorilla brand it sticks great) I purchased the tape from Walmart for $8.00 per roll, and I also used zip ties to fasten the tarp (see pics)The poles are sturdy enough that I want to utilize them the following year to erect a permanent building with corrugated metal roofing and overlapping shiplap paneling.I can't speak for the typical roof form, but the half-round roof I bought is really sturdy; I wouldn't do it if it was 20 feet long. I'm 250 pounds and I had no trouble hanging off the roof support.I don't typically publish reviews, but I had a hard time finding ones with useful information, so my review is probably excessive.

I bought this canopy to preserve my SUV for the long term. Nicely done labeling on the pieces made for simple assembly. I discovered a broken grommet and a little tear or fault in the material while fitting the cover. When I notified the manufacturer, they immediately offered me a replacement cover without any strings attached. Excellent customer service, especially from Wendy, who handled my claim. She sent me emails every day, updating me on the progress of the replacement cover. Finding businesses that prioritize their customers, like this one, is getting more and more difficult.I did improve the canopy in a few ways. First, I had to lift it because the sides are only 6 feet tall, making room for my vehicle. I did this by utilizing L-brackets, concrete screws, and concrete adhesive to fasten lengths of 4x4 to deck blocks. I gained height as a result of this.Second, to lessen some of the pull on the cover, I swapped the factory-installed 6" ball bungees for better 8" ones. Now I understand 9 "would have been acceptable and possibly more efficient.Thirdly, to enhance rigidity and keep items in place, I put self-tapping screws to several of the key joints.Finally, I applied 1/2" pipe foam insulation to several of the upright supports " (2 per post, each forming a "c" around the post). This lessens the chance of car doors getting damaged.I greatly value the locking mechanisms/tabs on this canopy where the poles slip into the angle connectors. I'm quite happy with my buy all around.

Punctually delivered in a sturdy package with no pieces missing. Everything, including the tube joints, seams, grommets, velcro, and door flap, was expertly conceived and constructed. Simply follow the illustrated directions for a simple one-person setup that takes 90 minutes. To drive the six hold-down stakes, you'll need a step stool, a wrench to tighten a few nuts, and a hammer. Approximately 10 installed on a graveled area "of "skirt" is still available if you set it on elevated flooring. (Now all I can do is hope the weather doesn't ruin it.)Individual Assembly TIPS: Letting gravity keep joints together while starting in the middle and working out to the long ends is the "secret" to hassle-free frame assembly. When joining legs, lift evenly from the middle, then the ends. Square up the closed end first, then work your way toward the door end, as you lift and "drape" the cover over the frame. START putting the frame together by using joints from the middle of the roof peak to each long end. lifting steadily from the peak's center, adding the shorter tubes and joints to one side before repeating on the other. Attach a foot plate to the tube, lift one long side from the center, insert the center foot tube, then each end foot tube, and repeat on the other side. Adjust the position and make sure all the tubes are still "seated." "Twist the foot plates to the ground at each joint. The most challenging step is placing the cover over the frame. With the door (velcro strips) at the right end, unfold the cover down the long length of the frame. Start by lifting one side of the cover up over the frame. As you continue to push the cover up and over the frame, "drape" it over the horizontal tubes to secure it in place. Prioritize placing the closed end first, then use two ball bungees to secure its peak in the appropriate location. Prior to focusing on having the open end properly aligned, complete working the closed end into place. All ball bungees should be installed on the closed end. Using brackets with bolts, install the bottom tubes in sleeves. Now draw the cover at the door end properly, fix it, and fasten it with ball bungees. Starting at the roof top, carefully connect the velcro strip door, working your way down each side. Velcro the door loops to the frame. Stake down after making sure the zipper door is operating well and any last-minute positioning. 90 minutes or less, tops, is all!

Do not purchase this product if you reside in a region with a lot of sunshine. It's been completely pulled apart twice since I acquired it less than a year ago. It was used for the first time less than 50 days after purchase. I did receive a new tarp from the shipper, however it has already torn once more. There are more than 300 days of sunlight where I reside in Arizona. The continual sun is just too much for material. It becomes dry and tears. The first three images were taken on April 8th, 2018. The final three images date back to August 24, 2017.4/25/18 Edit: Brandline has been really supportive of me with this. They did send me a third Quictent cover. This one fits better because it is now white. The second cover I got was very tightly pulled. Not quite as stretched as the other one, this new one. Additionally, they assert that this ought should be stronger than the previous two. For this reason, I am increasing my star rating from 2 to 3.Sept. 16 update: My cover tore once more. About 15 months passed during this one. When I contacted the vendor, they gave me a replacement cover at an extremely fair price. They also delivered new bungee cords because the original ones needed to be replaced. I'm giving the seller a 4 out of 5 stars for their excellent customer service. I'm grateful.

I work on numerous household chores, and my garage doubles as a shop. I occasionally overstuff my workstation and have to leave my car outside for the day. That was a difficult request, but I was able to find it after looking and researching.I selected this specific carport because I am familiar with its frame architecture and am certain that it would hold up to repeated use and abuse. The metal poles have a white protective powder coating for more reasons than just looks. This was demonstrated when I accidentally dropped a handful of them while setting up the supplies onto the hard concrete floor. The paint never tried to chip or scrape. None were discovered. After being forced to seek shelter under this carport due to an unexpected downpour of rain, we were able to verify that it is water-resistant. The carport feels incredibly stable once the canvas has been spread uniformly over the structure and fastened with bungee cords. The owner's manual also includes instructions on mounting the foot pads into wood and concrete. My car's best friend is now this six-legged marvel. There is plenty of space for me to park it on the 200 square foot surface.

When I initially glanced at the sheet, I saw a flaw that appeared like it might break or leak, but so far, it has lasted a few storms and appears to be OK. Although I wasn't sure if I would want the fabric to continue down the canopy's legs, I do. Since my canopy legs lack hooks, I zip-tied those components to the legs rather than drilling new ones. The canopy itself is really tight, which made setting it up a little challenging, but once it's up, it fits well and prevents water from collecting on top like other canopies have in the past.Compared to the green, white, or silver I previously had, the hue is much nicer. I'll wait to see how it holds up, but thus far, I'm satisfied.I think I have it on a 10x20 carport from the King Canopy brand. Each side has three legs. Fit is excellent.

For a trust that I was managing, we had a few things (furniture and boxes) that had to be stored outside. I discovered this, and the size appeared to be ideal for our requirements. It was assembled and loaded in our backyard by my husband and kid. A severe storm hit us a few days later, but nothing was damaged. When he loaded it up, my husband put heavy boxes on the fabric inside the cover to prevent it from getting damaged and flying away. I'm sure that was really helpful. No water, no tears, and no leaks were present inside. I suppose that this is the ideal opportunity to check the quality. I adore the size and appearance. Simply put, if you need temporary or long-term storage in a hurry, this is an excellent option.

I bought this item in March of 2018 and finally put it up as a carport in front of my garage in June. Having previously bought things of a similar nature, I was astonished at the time by how seamlessly everything fit together. Nothing needed to be pushed into place. The apparatus served me well up until a few days after Christmas, when, in the middle of the night, we encountered a powerful windstorm that picked up the carport, carried it through the air, and wedged it upside down between the garage and a big tree 15 feet in the air before carrying it into the overhead power lines. I secured it as much as I could before waiting for daybreak. The solar panels on the garage roof tore holes in the canopy while the wind pounded the carport harder throughout the night.The following day, when the wind died down, we were unable to unwedge the unit, so we borrowed some long ladders and took it apart piece by piece. It took a lot of unconventional twisting and torquing of the structure to disassemble it. When we gathered everything up and conducted an inventory, we discovered that the roof canopy had been torn in a dozen places and that one of the steel 4-way connectors had a fractured weld. I was astounded to see that none of the steel poles were even slightly bent since the unit had gone through something that well above what could be deemed "normal wear and tear."I spoke with the supplier (Sorara Outdoor) and shared my experience. "You're still under warranty, could you email some images," they said. After I sent the photos, UPS sent me a brand-new roof cover four days later.There were numerous ways Sorara could have argued their way out of this, but they chose not to; they just replaced the defective goods, which was close to the end of the warranty, without any further discussion. And during the entire process, did everything with remarkable politeness.

For about four months straight, I have been utilizing this with their canopy. I haven't have any problems with it failing. It only came with enough bungee cords for one every hole, including the ones that came with the top, and that is one of my greatest issues. And second, the corners frequently separate and let rain in. The lifespan of the entire tent might be increased with a few additional grommets—2 or 3 in the middle of each one—and bungee cords. Remarkably, I added a 1 3/8" fence top rail and connectors to the bottom to "cheat" on the shelter. This aids in weighing down the shelter and keeps the legs apart. The final image depicts how things would seem in the absence of cheating.

I have read all 400 reviews, paying particular attention to the reviews with 1,2 stars where the canopy fell, generally in a light breeze. I have now purchased 3 of these, which are definitely built as cheaply as possible (note: amazon utilizes various vendors for these, and the price can range from $73 to $115; if over $90, I'd wait a week and see if price reduces). I've done the following (in the hopes of avoiding early failure) after considering all the suggestions and looking at the failure photographs, which appear to show that the main issue the failures had was inadequate bracing of the top of the support legs:1. The tops of the legs were drilled and sheet metal screws (#8x3/8") were used to attach them to the canopy top frame. It is strange that these connections lack clips like other connections do. The top frame is not in any way connected to the support posts without these screws.2. Firmly anchored the bottoms of the poles into the ground (instead of using the plastic pieces that came with the set, I used 4' light metal fence posts like Origin Point 090044 Light Duty Fence Post, 4-Feet, driven into the ground, cut off tops, then drill hole through top of the cut-off fence post, and attached with bolt that was included with the set).3, Purchased four 10-foot lengths of 1-1/4" PVC pipe at a big-box orange hardware shop for $5.77 apiece, cut in half, and inserted the thin metal support legs. Very tight fit, but it looks good, adds strength, and safeguards the finish of the car door if the door is opened against the post).4. Insert 2' pieces of PVC at the lower horizontal supports' connecting joints. It appeared to me after construction that the support was bending at that joint, which was probably a weak spot.5. To prevent abrasion of the lightweight tarp, Gorilla duct tape was applied to exposed joints and welds that come into touch with the tarp.6. So that pressing on the top frame corners causes very little movement, firmly anchored the corner posts' tops by screwing 2x2" pieces of wood from the top corners to a nearby fence.With the above-mentioned preparations, the tarp flaps somewhat in a 20 mph wind, but the frame is stable and does not move at all.Additions cost $12 for fence posts, $22 for PVC pipe, $2 for duct tape, and $1 for screws.Time: Basic setup one hour, second one thirty minutes (2 people). Improvements, many hours of contemplation, and two hours of labor went into the initial canopy. Second: 45 minutes.5/26/17 I wrote the aforementioned piece over two years ago. The canopies have endured with no issues. During a few of the storms, branches from the trees that surround the canopies fell. This caused a few minor tears in the cloth, which I patched with clear Gorilla tape. One year after applying the tape, it appears to be holding. With the caveat that the improvements I suggested above are addressed, I am quite happy with the product.
