When my wife and I visit outdoor events or parks, I find the nylon chairs to be quite heavy due to their size. I decided to buy a pair of these fold-flat folding stools after seeing them.Each unit weighs just a little bit over 3 lbs. A carrying strap with an expandable shoulder strap is also included.The dimensions are suitable for a large laptop backpack or duffel bag.There are two holes on either end. You insert your fingers inside each and pull them apart while spinning them. It can be altered to different heights. The stacking of a plastic coil is what gives it stability. Only forces from the long axis or top to bottom will be accepted. It may come down on itself if you apply pressure to the sides. Simply spin it the other way and push the ends together to close.For greater stability, some rubber stoppers on the base would have been excellent.But because of its brilliant and useful design, I'm just glad I made the purchase.

I have back problems that make it extremely painful for me to stand or walk for more than 20 minutes. This chair will come in handy when I visit the DMV or any other location where I cannot lean on a shopping cart or sit intermittently. This chair will be helpful, to put it mildly, as I take kids on lengthy outings and stop for breaks. My favorite. Although I am nowhere near over 250 pounds, this stool has a 600-pound weight capability. Who knows why I'm so sensitive to the weight being significantly greater than what I require, but while I'm sitting on this stool, I feel strong. Because of its durability, strength, and light weight, I feel quite safe and at ease using it. I also have a fold-up sling chair with a weight capacity of 500 lbs. Strange, but at least neither chair will ever be broken by me. For me, this is a huge assistance. I'm grateful.

Because it seemed a little lighter and it was a little cheaper, I chose this stool over one of the ultralight hiking seats. So far, I'm happy with how robust it is (though I have only tested it in the living room). Although my wife, who has a slightly larger behind, did not, I thought it was really comfortable. On our next hiking trip, she'll undoubtedly be hogging it because she stated it beats sitting on a stump. If you care about that type of thing, the design is sleek. I bought it because most of my fishing places take a 1- to 2-mile stroll and I fish on average twice each month. I don't want to carry the heavy camping chairs that far anymore. The morning journey is typically alright, but carrying a 5-pound chair back to the car in the middle of the day has never been enjoyable. I didn't bring a chair the last several occasions, and I had no intention of using one until I saw this. My new day hike and backpacking stool is this one. I am completely confident in it, but if it is put to the test in the real world, I will let you know if I encounter any problems.

Due to the fraying of the two backpacks we first bought, we advise fixing the ends of the nylon straps with heat (a heat gun or match to melt the plastic). For Disney waits that lasted more than two hours, these seats were a lifesaver. Many Disney employees were intrigued and praised the backpacks as being really clever. Future owners of back-pack chairs should be aware that Disney has a history of outlawing novel innovations that they deem to be disruptive to the park (selfie sticks, wheelie shoes, etc). Therefore, if you choose to use a backpack chair, we ask that you respect other guests by shifting your seat up as the queue moves along and by not blocking any walkways. We anticipate taking use of these fantastic totes on numerous additional theme park outings.Prior Review: Excellent idea, subpar execution. These backpacks were two that we bought for a trip to Disney World. The cooler area is decent, and the seats are excellent for standing in line. However, the straps are of terrible quality. One of our bags' straps started to fall apart even before we put it on for the first time. (See image) The straps' inadequate padding makes them uncomfortably stiff as well. Positively, we had no issue entering the Disney World parks with these bags because they look to comply with the size requirements.

For a recent trip to a convention where lengthy lines were the norm, I purchased two of these chairs. I'm not particularly petite at about 6'1 and 140 pounds. In a period of 72 hours, I sat in this chair for 50 hours. Even if it's not the most comfy chair ever constructed, I have to admit that for the short period of time I used it, it was pleasantly comfortable and had a nice design that makes it easy to store. I now keep them in my van, ready for any activity when sitting instead of standing is more comfortable. Here, you are free to insert your own activity. The size of this makes it simple to grab when unsure and has frequently saved lives. Both low-profile and simple to store. Almost as small and light as an umbrella. You won't mind bringing it along, and you'll be rewarded by waking up feeling relaxed and comfy. This chair may be made much more comfortable if you bring a little inflatable pillow with you to sit on.Pros: It's surprisingly durable but lightweight, so you won't hesitate to take it. Additionally, the cost is fairly affordable.Cons: Must be supported by a solid foundation to avoid tipping over. To help my wife and son stop griping when they work on chores around our property, I bought them this tiny stool. Please think about something, like gardening. If they feel more at ease, they will complain less. In any case, the pricing was reasonable, but what I really wanted was for it to fold up little. The other miniature garden stools are not compactly foldable. One of them does. folds to the equivalent of a stack of four to five frisbees. Perfect for stepping aside. Good materials at a fair price.

Okay, getting up and down from this was more comfortable than I anticipated. I must admit that after using this for 7 hours at a craft fair, I was astonished by how relaxed my body felt. I didn't use the aluminum folding seats that were provided by the show. This truly works nicely when you're constantly getting up and down. I'm not exactly a young thing at 60, 5'2", or close to 150 lbs. This is worthwhile to try, especially if you have knee issues.Initial: Hurt. The picture is deceptive; unless you're a really small person, you must sit on this like a saddle. Although there isn't a true back, it appears to have one. I got this to use as a table at a craft fair where I would set up shop, so I'm testing it out at home as a place to work on projects. Although it is undoubtedly lightweight, I understand why some say you should exercise caution when reaching. It does tip if you reach it the wrong way. I occasionally caught myself. Since it's too soon to the show to acquire something else, I'll probably retain it. However, I'll get something else to sit on for a while.

I accidently ordered two of these when I only wanted one, but it doesn't bother me at all! This is excellent for use while camping inside the tent. In addition to being useful as a stool, I've also used it as a "nightstand" next to an air mattress and am glad I have it.
