I purchased this a few months ago when I started working a closing shift downtown. If you're searching for something that is not too huge and simple to use (especially if you're going to utilize it inside a tiny space), this should do the trick. This bat is quite well-built. Due to its compactness, you can even easily conceal it even though it hits really strongly. If you need it for self defense, it is incredibly helpful. I would argue that this bat provides a suitable replacement if you don't feel comfortable using firearms for personal defense in a domestic situation. This bat is similar to a standard baseball bat in that it is end heavy but easy to swing naturally.Some folks mention having it with them as a form of walking safety. I'm the head coach of a 7/9-year-old little league team and a tball squad. Both of my teams use this bat. The fact that the t-ball players can swing the bat correctly gives them more confidence. It allows them to have the bat speed and helps maintain their swing level, preventing them from developing negative muscle memory up in the senior division where the graduated tball players from last year are in their first year in the minors. They observe the older players using larger bats, but they have noticed that they consistently hit the ball with this bat. The 24" inch, 14 ounce, green bat is perfect for my 4-year-old son. He is 36 pounds and stands 42 inches tall for reference. He just joined Little League, and he's a big fan of his aluminum bat.He can make solid contact with the ball thanks to the lightweight bat. Remember that this bat is made for tee balls (soft throws are great, but it's not made to endure Aroldis Chapman's fastballs traveling at 100 mph).However, because of its small weight, the bat is more likely to dent (see photo). The good news is that the bat ended up denting after 30 days of constant usage, but Franklin customer care is prompt and was able to uphold the 90-day guarantee.After contacting Franklin, the replacement bat did so within five days. Compared to the bat that was delivered via Amazon, the replacement bat that was shipped directly from Franklin has a different design (see photo). The redesigned bat features a larger "teeball" logo, a slightly altered Venom logo pattern, and a more matte finish on the barrel. The ideal bat for training young children to hit is this one. It is simple to make touch with the ball because to the large barrel. Their confidence grows as more interaction is made. For my needs, this size is ideal. In order to make "Sauerkraut in a Stoneware Crock," I'm using it as a "Stomp-er." I want to thank the reviewer who suggested using fine-grain, 100- to 120-grit sandpaper and a little elbow grease to remove the faint varnish. I required a toxic-free natural wood bat. Use a paper towel to remove the sawdust after sanding the varnish. Put some cooking oil on a fresh piece of paper towel. Like breaking in a pizza board, any food-grade oil, such as canola, olive, etc., will work. Put a thin layer of oil on top and wait for it to absorb. This keeps the timber intact. Apply another coat of oil before storing after washing with soap and water, letting dry, and after usage. The cabbage trimmings are smashed by this tiny bat so that liquid can be released and ferment properly.
