This set is pretty excellent. Because it was less expensive than well-known brands, I decided to take a risk on this obscure (to me) brand. I am positively NOT dissatisfied. This pack was created with great care. The hue is lovely. The nylon used to make this pack is waterproof and lightweight. It has strong straps, well-constructed buckles, smooth zippers, and well-sewn, reinforced seams. Between your back and the frame is a breathable cloth panel that allows air to flow freely and lessens the uncomfortable sweaty sensation. With the aid of the waist belt, you can support the weight of the pack on your hips rather than only your shoulders. The waist belt has two pockets that can be used to hold a variety of objects, but an iPhone 8 cannot fit in the pockets. Despite not being expressly designed for women, the shape is nice for them and the shoulder straps are well-padded. This was a pleasant surprise for me because in the past I've had trouble with "unisex" packs fitting. The sternum strap has a safety whistle integrated into the buckle and can be adjusted up and down for a snug, supportive fit. Trekking poles can be stored on either side of the bag using elastic cords. Under the main compartment, there is a separate shoe compartment. If necessary, you can enter the main compartment through the shoe compartment. For water bottles and other little items you need access to quickly, the large, deep pockets on both sides are perfect. A lovely rain cover is also provided, and it can be found in a separate pocket at the bottom of the bag. To make it easier for you to find the pouch, it has a tiny tag with an umbrella on it. I value the bag's several pockets that are scattered throughout it very much. It appears like the designer considered everything. You can't go wrong with this pack, especially when you take into account the extremely reasonable pricing.

Awesome backpack!10/5/2017Steal to make money. In all honesty, this is not a backpack fit for an expedition or the military. Don't expect to pay $70 for a decent backpack that costs $450. This is a contemporary daypack with some backpacking and military technologies incorporated to it. Since I've used cheaper backpacks with hold on before, I'm certain that I can use this as a hiking bag. This won't be an exception. Although not as good as a Kelly or a Gregory, this will serve its purpose. It is made of a light-weight, medium-wear resistant fabric. Although the back pack is large, the straps can be changed to make it little more covert. I like the color and the military style on it. I really don't believe the buckles are going to snap at all, but I'll change the review if they do. Again, they are not military grade, if that is what you are looking for.The straps are comfy and well-made, and I didn't detect any stitching problems with the suspension system, which is just your standard, well-functioning one. Lastly, the backpack is completely dry thanks to the snug, well-measured yellow luminous cover (With the exception of the straps obviously).If I had paid something like $150 for this backpack, I might have given it a worse rating due to quality issues, but for $70 (what I paid), you get A LOT!If you are a novice outdoor enthusiast, this backpack is a great upgrade over your Jansport piece of crap backpack XD, no disrespect intended. I traveled by backpack for four days with my 12-year-old daughter. The pack performed admirably as a starter pack. She brought her own clothing, sleeping bag, and mat. In the water carrier, she also placed a 1.5 liter water bladder (Bag doesnt come with a water bladder that was purchased separately from Salomon). As long as you are only traveling a short distance or have someone like me (Dad) to carry the other requirements like food and a tent, the bag is fine. Additionally, since the bag didn't come with a waterproof cover, I had to buy one.I deducted one star since it's difficult to access/refill the water bladder holding location when the bag is loaded down with gear. Due of this, it is difficult to refill the bladder until you completely empty the bag. My daughter also reported that her neck was being severely rubbed by the bag's shoulder straps. By frequently tucking her shirt up high on her neck to cover the spot, we were able to deal with the situation.

I want everyone to know that even though I have many packs in my shed, I just bought this one because my son is skinny and because of all the other reviews from "scout" moms.I didn't need this, first of all. But here's why I did:My son required a pack as he transitioned from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. One pack did not fit his waist. 23 at the time. All of these very cool ones were preplanned and bought a very long time ago. No, it's too huge. Three months after coming out, my son is now a 26 1/2 waist, and this pack fit him from head to toe like a glove. The waist belt, according to the website, goes as low as 25", however I think the least measurement is 26". I'm sold on this component alone. This is the appropriate bag given the price range and size, without needing to be a woman's bag or costing more than $200.Next is quality. The bag is of a good caliber. not the best quality. Given its pricing and what it offers a typical 11-year-old learning life lessons, this bag is of exceptional quality. Having said that, parents should double-check each stitch, button, snap, drawstring, and zipper before using them. Just passing along.Seller: You must work with BSA to promote this precise product on their behalf. I've been a leader for 5 years, and I also frequently visit the scout stores to buy supplies. Such products are necessary. At the very least, try it.For the lads out there who could have a mild case of scoliosis or have not yet had that one crucial growth spurt, this is it. I'm not a doctor, but this is the pack to use if you're going to put one on your kid.Based on its quality and adaptability, I can imagine this pack lasting a very long time in scouts. I adore the rear. On September 5, 2017, I bought a "TETON Sports Explorer 4000 Internal Frame Backpack Metallic Silver." One of the side pouch zipper extensions came out, which is the only thing I could find wrong with it. I haven't been able to put them back together in a satisfactory way. When I thought I had it once, I was unable to use the zipper since it was too short to loop back on itself. After that, I attempted to put it back together while it was attached to the zipper, but that too failed. Teton responded to my letter in less than an hour, asking for a reference photo and my address. I had written to them to inform them of this vulnerability. I immediately responded with this, and a few minutes after they told me it was ready for shipment and a tracking number would be given. This kind of feedback truly motivates me to work with Teton once more. I'm grateful, Teton.

For our four-day hiking trip through Rocky Mountain National Park, I bought my daughter this pack. I applied my previous REI pack. I must admit that I was really envious of her pack. both portable and highly practical. allows for enough torso movement to fit her, but would also have enough for me if she ever wanted to share with me. There are numerous external pockets to store all the minor stuff you might need on the route. There is enough space in the main compartment to pack everything you need, including a 2-liter hydration pack. The material is very robust. She'll use it for a lot more future backpacking trips, I have no doubt.
