This update for my 6.2 L Ford Super Duty was incredibly simple. At 2000 RPMs, it does generate a delightful whistling sound, and while it is hard to judge whether performance has improved, it should theoretically matter when added to other improvements.Up to 10 HP and 14 lb/ft of torque, according to the manufacturer.With my 2015 F250, I also installed an aFe cold air intake. This is unquestionably a significant improvement, and when I step on it, the sound under the hood is thrilling!Unquestionably a great product. Also made in the USA!

My 1999 TJ has a gutless 2.5L engine. I reasoned that I couldn't injure myself for the money. The SOP (seat of the pants) dyno says it works after a brief test ride, and I just finished installing it (which took 45 minutes with plenty of cleaning and dustproofing). Although I've never actually calculated my gas mileage, it was already a gas pig before installation. Although the instructions' illustrations were a touch absurd, you can put it back together by disassembling it. a shop vac, a 10mm socket, and a screwdriver.

Use more than just 4150-style carbohydrates! With a little file work around the front of the bracket near the accelerator pump, I was able to make it fit perfectly with the Holley 4010 with which I had ordered it. Later, I replaced the Holley with an Edelbrock 1405, and with a little extra filing, I was able to clear the throttle assembly without compromising the strength of the bracket. Thankfully, the material is quite soft, making customization with the correct file simple. Additionally, it costs half as much as those Summit and Jeg's sell!

The torque has been noticeably increased in the low- and mid-range of the throttle position, which indicates that the throttle response in this area has also been enhanced. Around 2700 to 3100 RPM, I heard a faint whistle; this is the only RPM range where I can actually hear the whistle. In any case, I can tell that it's working from the engine reaction, and to be completely honest, I'm relieved that it doesn't whistle while it works.Installation InstructionsWith the exception of two things, the instructions are simple:1) The TBI bolts require an 8mm socket, not a 10mm socket as stated in the instructions; and 2) You should cut your engine cover for a good fit. Without trimming, the engine cover will fit into the ball sockets, but a "interference fit" is created when it rests snugly on top of the TBI actuator. I removed the interference by trimming 3/8 inches from the actuator lid using a Dremel tool (see pictures).

Nearly all of the "name" brands I've seen that cost four times as much as this one are comparable to it. For my Datsun 240Z's Holley carburetor, I purchased this to install. It looks fantastic and performs superbly. superior to the cheap, fragile throttle linkage holders by a wide margin. This is excellent in terms of functionality, durability, and pricing.

I bought this to replace the standard one on my 1999 Honda Prelude because it had a busted coolant fitting. This item is simple to add on and performs nicely. The screws want to rattle out, so make sure you use lock-tight on them. The car can occasionally stall at idle because too much fuel is being introduced and the constrictive factory intake manifold does not flow as much air when the engine is at idle. These are the only problems I am encountering. I am still using a stock intake manifold. The automobile enjoys it when it is traveling at high RPMs.

Great results! The gas pedal has a little dead spot before the TB opens, however this adjustment is quite minimal and might also be explained by the fact that the engine is an LS3 in a 2004 GTO or by the TB itself. My only complaint is that in order to use this, the clamshell/sound deadener/intake cover (I'm not sure what it's actually called) MUST be taken off.

I bought this on a whim to test whether I could recover some torque after reading some posts.Together with a cold air inlet, this is employed.More torque was definitely present, especially at low RMP below 1500. In reality, it's rather noticeable: as opposed to before, when I was driving away of a stoplight on a tiny incline, I had to rev the Jeep up to around 1500 before it would move well. Now, I only need to crank it above idle. It's difficult to quantify, but I'd say there is a little bit more power on the highway. Any improvement on a 2.5L engine is welcome!Since I am using 32-inch tires and 411 standard gearing with a 3" lift, I believe I am noticing a slight increase in mileage, but nothing significant.A pleasant induction noise is now produced by the intake, which is kind of cool. I'm not sure how this would affect the longevity and toughness of the engine, but I think it will only be beneficial. One would assume that since the spacer improves the mixture at the intake, there will be more uniform combustion between the cylinders. Since the spacer will boost combustion efficiency, I would also assume that emissions performance is enhanced.The installation is really simple. Install 4 new bolts after removing 4 old bolts, cleaning the old gasket, and adding a spacer and gaskets. On my installation, the cable spacers weren't necessary. If you simply want to use this for wheeling, it's also quite simple to uninstall.Overall, I'm really satisfied with the ease of installation, pricing, and performance. I didn't need to modify my rig in any way to install it, which is always a bonus.
