Garage Monkey Engineering LED Road Safety Flare Roadside Warning Safety Flare Kit for Vehicles & Boat | 4 Beacon Disc Pack Review:

Because of the glowing ratings and lowest pricing per unit, I chose to get this 4 pack. It turned out to be a good decision, therefore I'm adding another five-star rating. I tested the spinning lights mode with three eneloop batteries to see how long it lasts because it might be the most helpful during road emergencies. Batteries were largely gone after 10 hours, but lights were still flashing as brightly as with brand-new batteries. incredibly impressive Lights are very bright and ought to be visible during the day.The back plate can be opened to install batteries using the instructions that are included. For water resistance, the back plate is mounted rather firmly. If I hadn't read the directions, I probably would have damaged the housing by attempting to pry it out with a screwdriver or other implement. In case you were wondering, the back plate can be removed by using the two tabs at the two and ten o'clock positions. The seller's warning not to use standard or inexpensive alkaline batteries since they eventually leak and damage the device is also fascinating. That is also my experience. Even "good quality" batteries like Costco Kirkland and Duracell are susceptible to leaks after a certain number of years. Try LSD NiMH rechargeables if the Energizer Max and Energizer lithium primary are your only options for batteries that don't leak.

Tobfit 12 Pack LED Road Flares Emergency Lights Roadside Safety Beacon Disc Flashing Warning Flare Kit with Magnetic Base & Hook for Car Truck Boats | 9 Flash Modes (Batteries Not Included) (12) Review:

And here is my comparison of Tobfit vs. unnamed Brand X (I'm not identifying them; they are all sold on Amazon), because I initially believed they were all manufactured by the same company under several brands. They differ in reality. As of now, brand X uses AA Batteries while these Tobfit models, as stated, require AAA Batteries. Brand X uses LEDs that are closer to red than Tobfit, which uses amber/orange LEDs. When laid flat (hook/magnet side down), Tobfit perimeter LEDs appear to be somewhat angled down, decreasing visibility, as opposed to Brand X, whose LEDs are more parallel with the body. LED modes are essentially identical, with the exception that Tobfit's final LED mode employs two pairs of illuminated perimeter LEDs as opposed to brand X, which instead uses top-mounted White LEDs. LEDs on the top of the Tobfit look to be attached but are not working. I'll find a use for these Tobfit models (let the kids play with them, I assume), but I'll be getting additional brand X versions instead because they have more LEDs and are brighter (perhaps because of larger batteries) and have a wider field of view. A star was taken away for the top White LEDs' malfunction. Another was lost because to poor visibility. These are my results and opinions; your experience may differ.Update: We appreciate you getting in touch, Tobfit. Evidently, my set didn't come with all the instructions. Since they explained how to turn on the White LEDs (double-press the mode button), I am raising your rating by one point in recognition of your excellent customer service and fully functional products.

LED Strobe Light, 12V-24V Amber 40 LED Warning Safety Flashing Beacon Lights with Magnetic and 16 ft Straight Cord for Vehicle Forklift Truck Tractor Golf Carts UTV Car Bus Review:

This light is suitable. It is bright, simple to mount, and detachable to prevent theft. To prevent scratching your roof, the magnet is covered in plastic and slightly recessed. The cord has enough length to wrap around and reach the ceiling. It alerts drivers that you are nearby and is very bright. As we wait to move, we are now spending a lot of time in a hotel. A young driver who was not paying attention rear-ended me. I therefore bought the lamp to warn people in that manner. It includes an on/off switch, so I can always have it plugged in and use it as needed. If it prevents only one accident, the cost will be more than justified.

Xprite Red & Blue 16 LED High Intensity LED Law Enforcement Emergency Hazard Warning Strobe Lights for Interior Roof/Dash/Windshield with Suction Cups Review:

*12/2018 update* After owning this lamp for a full year, I still stand by my initial assessment. It doesn't take up much space on the dash and continues to shine with the same brightness. I'm very happy with this buy! I ordered one for my wife's car but did not get another one for my rear-view window. You wouldn't even have enough money for the price to get one light from one of the pricy merchants.Very bright, given the price, according to the original review. It was mounted directly below my rearview mirror, and the power cord is long enough to be concealed behind trim all the way to the 12 volt power outlet. To unpack and have everything ready to use, it took me around 15 minutes. As several reviewers have complained about happening with their own shields, the shield snapped into place instantly and has not come off since. This one is roughly 250% brighter and weighs about half as much as the Whelan Dash King it replaced. This is supported by the fact that it pushes other vehicles aside far more quickly and from a much greater distance than the dash king did.I'm quite pleased with it and will get another for my back window. If you're considering buying this lamp, take my review into account. It has only been in my possession for three days, but it has already met my expectations.

Linkitom LED Strobe Flashing Light Bar -Double Side Amber 30 LED High Intensity Emergency Hazard Warning Lighting Bar/Beacon/with Magnetic and 16 ft Straight Cord for Car Trailer Roof Safety Review:

I shoot real estate in the Atlanta region, and some of the properties have only on-street parking. Because of the way people drive around here, even with my hazards on, I have almost been hit a dozen times myself or my car. I ordered this kit for my car after observing several landscaping businesses utilizing comparable items on their trucks. They were simple to install and delivered quickly. I adore how the second switch modifies the flash patterns and sequences. Exceptionally bright, with no problems in torrential rain or at 80 to 90 mph. Definitely worth the cost!

Xprite Gen 3 Amber Yellow 36 LED 18 Watts High Intensity Law Enforcement Emergency Hazard Warning LED Mini Bar Strobe Light with Magnetic Base Review:

I purchased this device to replace one that was three years old but looked, worked, and was designed very similarly. I decided it was time to replace the old unit because it still functioned quite well but was getting old and used. This new device seems to be nicely made, if not somewhat better. It is about 50% brighter than the last one, and the light is clearly visible from all directions in a 360o circle of light. The old device only functioned optimally when facing directly at the flasher. It was substantially less light to the side of the flasher. Since I've only used it for one night thus far, I may later edit this review.Pros: Excellent value for the money. brighter than my last comparable unit.better price. My previous unit is around $60, while this one was only $45 (and you might find it cheaper if you look around.)The roof has good magnetic contact. It should withstand interstate speeds just as well as my last device did.offers a large number of other flash patterns and keeps track of the most recent one utilized. On/off switch and pattern select buttons are simple to operate.appears to be rain- and water-proof. As I utilize it more, I'll update. We continue to receive a lot of rain.)Cons: The cord on my prior device was curled. This is a straight one. I therefore have to deal with an extra cord that somewhat obstructs my path. For my purposes, the curled cord seemed to be more practical. The car's roof is shielded from metal magnets by thin rubber footings. Much thinner rubber cups than on my former device. I worry that use and time will cause them to break down. Time will reveal.Overall though, I'm really happy with this new flasher. When I need to use it for on-site lighting inspections late at night while I'm driving through truck yards and I want to make sure I'm seen, the brightness is much better, and I feel like I'm seen better. I doubt you will find a better flash device for the money.Any new noteworthy events will be reported in updates as appropriate.I've had this item for the past two years. It still functions flawlessly and has barely seen any use. In fact, it spends the most of the time outside in the elements and/or the sun on top of my car 24/7/365. All of these exhibit few, if any, symptoms of aging or wear. The cost is more than justified.

EEEKit Emergency Strobe Lights, Universal 10-Pack 6 LED 18W Surface Mount Amber/White Emergency Warning Hazard Flashing Strobe Light Bar for Off Road Vehicle, ATVs, Truck Review:

You need Adobe Flash Player to view this video.Download Flash Player. As long as you have some knowledge of dc wiring, the lights work great, are simple to install, and are watertight and brilliant for the price.

Xprite 240 LED Amber/Yellow Emergency Warning Caution Strobe Light Roof Top LED Mini Bar for Cars Trucks Vehicles Snow Plow Review:

I bought this in amber to use for snow removal this winter. Had some reservations regarding the power of the magnet and reports of it coming off while driving. Indeed, the instructions warn against going faster than 40 mph. Being restricted to taking only local roads is somewhat stupid. I immediately placed an order for replacement magnets with the intention of replacing the old ones. If you wish to bolt the magnets on, there is no way to accomplish it without damaging the light system as it was intended. So I made the decision to test the stock magnets while gradually raising speed. I repeated this multiple times and in various weather scenarios. I'm happy to report that I can drive at 70 mph on the interstate without it moving. I also use this highway frequently. The amount of light it produces is respectable. During the day, I can see it, and there are no problems with it at night. Although it is undoubtedly not as bright as much more expensive light bars, it works well for my purposes. So the value is incredible for me. Although I do have plans to convert to a fixed light on a headache rack the following year, this is excellent for now. I've worked on cutting, landscaping, and fall cleanups while parked in the road and running it a lot so far. There haven't been any problems during the past week, which has been typical for Wisconsin: hot, rainy, snowy, warm again, rainy, more snowy, and again warm.

MIUHIU Road Flares Roadside Flashing Emergency LED Lights Beacon with Magnetic Base for Vehicle and Outdoor Sports. Review:

The beacon is incredibly efficient and has three different light modes (off, on, flashing). The button is displaced from the center and situated on top. The magnet at the base seemed to be rather feeble to me; I doubt it could hold on a vertical surface.

12-24V 20-LED Super Bright Emergency Warning Caution Hazard Construction Waterproof Amber Strobe Light Bar with 16 Different Flashing for Car Truck SUV Van - 4PCS (White Amber) Review:

First and foremost, I'd want to mention that these lights well exceeded my expectations. They are extremely bright—by brilliant, I mean blinding—and I would absolutely suggest them and might even buy them again. However, I did experience a problem with one of the lights, so I emailed the business personally. They responded promptly and solved my problem. Even an extra one is being sent to me. Excellent company, certainly worth the purchase!
