UTG Med-pro Compact Riser Mount, 0.83" High, 3 Slots Review:

This UTG riser is straightforward, strong, and very useful. I've tried a couple different brands, and the issue I've had with them is that they start to wobble after a certain number of bullets fired down range. After finally finding this one, I've never even had to retighten them. The AR in the image below shows how it works flawlessly to align your red dot and iron sights while trying to co-witness them. I use it on my AK47 as well, which has a lot stronger recoil, and I've never had to tighten them. They have never let me down and provide my rifle platforms the lightest weight possible because they are constructed of lightweight materials and painted with weather-resistant paint. Please select "useful" from the list of options below if my review was helpful to you.Thank you, and be careful.

Mossberg 500/590 Series Shotgun Picatinny Rail Mount Review:

for the Mossberg 590 Shockwave, purchased. extremely simple to install With a light-fitting screwdriver, carefully remove the factory top screws. Utilize a QTip with 90% Rub Alcohol to clean screw holes. Only use a tiny bit of blue locktite on the threads directly beneath the screw head. A breach would result from too much! Better allen key set with handle is advised as opposed to the one that is offered. All 4 screws should be hand tightened before the middle and front screws are seated. For a flush seat on the rail, repeat this gently three times. After 20 minutes, you're done. The Ade Advanced Optics HG54G Low Profile Green Laser was then mounted backwards. also a red dot from Sightmark 12ga Boresight. Small adjustments are made to the green dot sight to zero it in for accuracy across the house. Talon grips were also installed; much better. Moreover, the Optic Sight's clasp covers the front bead, which is worthless. When held up to the chest for aiming, the green dot sight features a bottom aperture through which you can still see the green optic on the end of the barrel. Additionally, the factory safety was replaced with a promag, which was a huge improvement over the factory plastic. Now, when practicing for home defense, I can rack the slide, remove the safety, and point the laser that is attached on the back of the rail. After all that, I wouldn't want to be the recipient. My Shockwave is now considerably better for personal protection in the dark thanks to these little modifications. For the front flashlight, a specially ordered tiny flashlight mount is attached to the front barrel. 14" barrel light is still far from the barrel end. Check out my pictures of completed modifications that cost less than $100.

Monstrum Slim Profile Series Offset Cantilever Picatinny Scope Mount | 1 inch Diameter Review:

This mount has really astonished me. Because there aren't many reviews, I was reluctant, but they are all favorable. I figured I'd give it a shot for $25 as I think $200 for a mount is absurd.Naturally, Amazon's shipping was quick, and when I opened the mount's package, I was pleasantly impressed by how sturdy it seems. I genuinely believed it would feel "cheap." There are no machining burrs and the finish is done correctly.I installed it, put my scope on the rings, and then I headed out to the range. I've fired 100 rounds total, and nothing has backed out or loosened yet.Time will tell, but I don't see any reason why this mount wouldn't withstand my uses for a very long time.4 additional screws were also included in the box. Regarding the claim of being lightweight, I don't have another lightweight to use as a benchmark, but I wouldn't describe it as lightweight even if it isn't particularly heavy either.

UTG Tactical Low Profile Rail Mount for Ruger 10/22 Rifle Review:

China-made generic packaging is used. UTG, MNT-22T0WL is the item number. Low profile tactical rail mount. There are 5 screws included. The rail has a flat or cylindrical screw seat or recess. The seat of the provided screws is tapered. Therefore, I used the flat-seat screws that came with my Ruger-supplied Weaver style mount. The four holes were perfectly aligned. Keep in mind that the front two holes are closer together than the back two. Install each screw two turns at a time, then hand tighten each one until it is secure. I can confirm that using the iron sights is still possible after installation. However, just the very tip of the white colored diamond on the back sight is visible, while the entire front sight is visible. Since you must align the front with the diamond's point anyhow, this is not a problem. A scope I own has low rise rings. After the rings were put on, I was completely unable to see my sights. Since I should have bought high rise mounts, this is not a problem with the low profile mount. The rail cutout is flawless, and the rail is authentic Picatinny with authentic slots and recoil distance. This is crucial since many individuals have different scopes, pieces of hardware, etc., and the Picatinny allows switching between them simple.

AccuShot Picatinny/Weaver Medium Profile 2-piece 1-inch Rings Review:

Unreasonably pricey for a 10/22. Originally planning to return these, I opted to retain them instead after feeling the build and quality. I can't really assess how well these rings operate in comparison to more expensive ones because I didn't use any scope mounting equipment or gadgets to verify for trueness. In the end, I decided against the AccuShot low profile rings and instead for another kind I discovered on Amazon that seemed even lower.Despite having a 32mm bell, the scope I'm using on my 10/22 still has a 7/16-inch (almost 11mm!) gap between the bell and barrel. And that's with LOW profile rings of a different manufacturer (lower than AccuShot's "low profile").The spacing was significantly bigger with the AccuShot Medium rings, I might say.In conclusion, the rings on a 10/22 feel VERY tall. Choose the lowest profile rings you can find, in my opinion.

WEAVER Quad Lock 1-Inch Medium Detachable Rings Review:

For mounting a 1-inch diameter scope tube close to the barrel on a rifle with 20 mm Weaver or Picatinny type mounting rails, use these premium, low profile scope rings.Although they are described as being of medium height, there does not appear to be any industry-wide agreement on what "low," "medium," and "high" profile mean, not even among different brands in certain situations. The height of rings are rarely listed by vendors (or manufacturers), which makes it challenging to compare rings and choose the one that fits a certain gun/scope combination the best. The distance between the top of the mounting rail surface and the bottom of the saddle that supports the scope tube is 4 mm, or 0.16 inches, or between 3/16 and 5/32 inches. I'll include pictures to demonstrate my points. Saddle height is a standard measurement that ought to always be included in the scope ring specifications but is infrequently done so.The importance of saddle height can be attributed to two factors. In order for the bell of the scope—the large, forward end of the scope—to sit above the gun's barrel and receiver without contacting the gun, the rings must first be high enough. However, it must also be low enough so that, when your cheek is securely fastened to the stock, your eye will naturally align with the center of the eyepiece. If you have to lift your head off the stock in order to see through the scope, consistent accuracy is almost difficult. These sturdy rings fit my Ruger American, which is chambered in.270 Win and equipped with a 3-9 x 40 Nikon scope. The quad design, which has two top rings per base, is a little odd, but I'm certain that it will hold the scope securely without applying any torque to the scope tube. The product description seems to be a little unclear as to whether they are constructed of steel or aluminum. Aluminum of "aircraft quality" makes up the rings themselves. The product description might be referring to the steel screws, which are attracted to a magnet. As mentioned by the specifications, this Amazon offer does not let customers choose between steel or aluminum rings, even though Weaver might produce both types. These arrive in a Weaver-branded package that appears to be authentic (I'm not sure how to determine if it's fake, though). They know what they're doing because they've been building mounts and scopes for a very long time. I have complete faith in these rings, which seem to be of high quality. If you found my review useful, please let me know by clicking the "Helpful" button.

UTG 1"/2PCs High Profile Picatinny/Weaver Rings Review:

These were required for a Savage Axis. a bolt-action rifle in the caliber of 270 and a scope. Only my wife's little hands could operate the bolt because the scope was perched so nearly on top of it. I was aware that taller mounts were essential because the gun was intended for our grandson. I appreciate UTG/Leapers since they have relocated to Michigan in the USA and are currently producing a lot of goods there. Since it was a Christmas gift and all, I got the imported mounts because the USA-made mounts I wanted weren't available at the time on Amazon. They are now nicely built and a fair deal, but I'd prefer to spend the extra money on mounts that were made in the USA.These mounts raised the scope high enough for me to operate the bolt with my gaunt hands without accidentally touching the scope. After Christmas, we went to the range to fine-tune it. My dead-eye grandchild took three shots to zero the scope after we leveled it. To confirm zero, we moved to 200 yards and fired two more times.Very well crafted and light weight from a reputable company.

Monstrum Slim Profile Series Offset Cantilever Picatinny Scope Mount | 30 mm Diameter Review:

I needed a 30mm mount for my Athlon 1x4 scope because I had recently finished a new.300 Blackout build. I opted to try this new Monstrum Tactical mounting because my budget was getting a little tight and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a Warne or Aero mount. I decided it was worth a shot because I have a number of older rifles with the 2 piece Monstrum rings and I've never had any problems with them. New mount is expertly constructed and polished. After a few hundred rounds, I saw zero scope movement since it locked down so firmly. This is an effective, high-quality product at a reasonable cost. What more do you need?
