We have seen deflation after using the air mattress again for a few weeks. First, the air slowly drained from the mattress while someone was on it. I inflated it again after deflating it, then I set it without using it. The deflation was clearly visible, but we were unable to locate any leaks or holes. We chose the twin size because we anticipated having little floor space. I grabbed the chance to test it out when I recently visited my folks when I had it with me. The mattress instantly inflated and stayed firm all night. I used the pump to deflate it the following morning since I wanted to get it out of the way. It immediately and compactly deflated. The carry bag is excellent and bigger than it should be, which I enjoy because so many people assume you can shrink the item back down to its little manufacturing size. About two years ago, I purchased this bed (SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress - Queen size), and I'm just now writing a review of it. The first year I used it, it appeared to collapse somewhat, as many reviewers had said, but after being inflated for a day or so, it stayed firm all night with a little additional air. The following year, I hardly ever used it. Since my wife dislikes the AC being on frequently, I made the decision to sleep downstairs the entire summer in my third year. I've been using it all summer. I continues to be inflated, but after some time the middle of the mattress began to bow up. It is nevertheless firm. The most comfy inflatable bed I've ever bought, despite the fact that I occasionally drop my pillow. Before I bought this one, I had bought approximately 5 (with 3 Aerobeds and 2 Colemans, all of which were ruined). I would choose this mattress over the Aerobed if the comparisons were the same. The Aerobed ALL were thrown away since they created a lot of pinholes and the repair kit is absolutely useless—it would leak within days of being fixed. Coleman lasts a little bit longer since they leak over time and develop worse despite not producing pinholes.

For a visiting grandchild, I got the twin. came swiftly. Son was VERY impressed with how quickly it filled once he opened the box, took it out, and plugged it in. Even when he flopped onto it with his 180-pound bulk, he simply rose. (I was anticipating it popping as I held my breath. It didn't, though. When we told my granddaughter "no, no," she stopped leaping on the bed. there was no air loss.It has a nice "velvet" surface that holds the sheet's corners and the sheet to the bed. You don't get that hard, flat surface because of the medium stitching, which gives the impression that air "channels" run through it. Mine is like two "levels" high, so you aren't really lying on the floor. You are elevated. Nearly at the same height as the regular bed next to it. One will be purchased by my son for his house. You wouldn't feel awkward inviting adults as guests on this one. A wonderful price, too.Considering the cost, I had a lot of doubts, but it's great!Highly advised.

It's interesting how the air bed's manufacturer markets it. Two key selling elements are there but are not even acknowledged on the packaging (but are on Amazon). I stopped using conventional beds years ago. back ache I've owned both expensive and affordable AMs. Regular users require three things. zero leaks That is the thickest walled AM I have ever had, though Cumbor may leak. Then, avoid bulges. Certain AMs fail by sagging. Very bad. This AM might someday swell, but given the design of the air coil, I really doubt it. Last but not least, you need an internal air pump that can supply AM. Yep. Drawbacks include the size of the bed. Do not even consider using it. The size resembles an Army cot. Additionally, queen air mattresses are about 10" taller, so it's a little low. But, smile, I've been using it for three days now with no back discomfort. Oh, yes, AMs do grow as they are utilized. Beware.

I had a pretty negative experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went completely out of their way to make me happy. They gave me a completely new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to take the effort of mailing the old leaking one back either. They were really remorseful and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a couple times since the trail ride and it was absolutely fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am very sure that I won’t have the same troubles as what I experienced last year. I would recommend King Koil for their great customer service. The beds are extremely very comfortable and if there is an issue contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur problems pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more vital than the goods. So if ur searching for a very pleasant air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I strongly suggest King Koil. They treated me like roayalty.This has to be the worst purchase that I have ever made on Amazon. I am really disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was fantastic but it took up too much area so I was happy when this monster was delivered. I followed all that the instructions advised me to do, I filled it, which was super easy. I left it up for a couple of days like they said so it might stretch. They said that it will get a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and stowed it away for my week long trail bike and camp out. I packed it in my van and was really thrilled to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I utilized an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam cushion and a massive and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets exceedingly cold if you don't set it on top of anything to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was very cozy, till the morning. It had gone quite soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week dragged on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was incredibly stiff from the way that it had me contained. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very final night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this awful thing, it was becoming worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day) (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and really pleasant. At 3 am, my feet were far up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I picked up all of my blankets and headed to my SUV to try if I could get some sleep. No good, that was absolutely against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the entirely deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I eventually got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this item again.. I completed my homework.. this was supposed to be really wonderful.. well, is total junk and I am now going to contact the firm.. Woah. The buzz around this is fully justified. I required this since I occasionally serve as a chaperone for overnight camps as a volunteer. I would prefer not to use the creaky old bunk beds as an adult. Because I'm not 5, I didn't want a camp sleeping bag pad. This was easy to inflate and deflate and traveled great!
