simplehuman 30 Liter / 8 Gallon Stainless Steel Rectangular Kitchen Step Trash Can with Liner Pocket, Brushed Stainless Steel Review:

I'll be honest with you. I am an informed, cost-conscious shopper, but I recently purchased an incredibly pricey trash can and I adore it! One of the best kitchen purchases I've ever made, undoubtedly! My family is made up of five members. Our community offers single-can recycling (everything in one big bucket). We simply became accustomed to using a step trash can and placing the recyclables on the counter over time. This ultimately resulted in a bag containing varying amounts of recycling sitting on top of the garbage container. It was terrible and disgusting.I've studied several Simplehuman recycling options throughout the years. I almost bought a few times, but I just couldn't bring myself to. What kind of garbage can could be worth the money? Furthermore, the liners, oh the liners. How could I put myself in a position where I would need to purchase expensive liners from the pricey garbage can firm. Seriously, though! Then it did, I suppose. At some point, I lost it over the recyclables piling up on top of the garbage and the dog bringing it about the house. I detested having to relocate the bag in order to dispose of the trash. I then came across this trash can. I used to worry that there wasn't enough space under the lid for garbage or recycling. The trash and recycling bins on this container were the biggest I could locate. I fired the weapon. My cheeks were dripping with tears when I paid $200 for a recycling container. I could always return it, so what the heck. I could just attach an ordinary 13-gallon liner on the garbage side if I didn't want to use their liners. We'll see.The can arrived. The trial set of H-size liners was placed in the handy pocket on the back of the garbage side when I took it out of the packaging. There is suddenly enough space for the trash and no longer any mess! The angels sung as the skies opened. And I have to say, it's totally worth the money! The can works properly and has a lovely appearance. The recycling can is immediately removed, and I can take it with me to the garage to deposit it in our town bin for pickup. The size bags simply slide out, are tied, and are placed in the standard trash container. A fresh liner is simply inserted into the convenient slot before I depart with the full bag. Genius.Oh, and regarding the liners The perform. I paid the money to buy a ton of these because they are so convenient in the pocket on the trash can and really, really work nicely (better price that way - I am after all still a frugal guy). Register the warranty on the simplehuman website as soon as you receive your can. You will receive a coupon for a dollar-off discount on your purchase from their website ($5.00, if I recall right). You may get 240 liners (a size I couldn't find anyplace else) with free shipping by visiting the simplehuman website. Use your coupon to make a purchase.Do not look at rubbish or lost recycling—you only have one life to live! Do it now. You won't regret it.

simplehuman 4.5 Liter / 1.2 Gallon Compact Stainless Steel Round Bathroom Trash Can, Black Stainless Steel Review:

Due to my dogs' obsession with the contents of regular waste baskets without lids, I needed step-on waste baskets with tightly closing lids. I studied the reviews for these simplehuman 1.2 gallon compact step ons with lids after discovering them for an excellent price. Nearly all of the reviewers expressed great satisfaction with them, but many expressed concern that they tipped over too readily due to their small weight. I set out to discover the ideal solution because it was evident that the bottoms of the cans needed more weight and balance. Having looked around the house for anything that could work but coming up empty-handed, I then considered putting magnets or something similar under the plastic can liner. Whatever it was had to be thin enough to allow the lid to close correctly and have a tiny diameter and weight. Finding that solution wasn't simple. Finally, smaller, lighter barbell weights entered the head, and presto! I located it! A Weider 2.5 lb is the "fix" that I have found to be effective. Exercise Weight Hammertone Plate that is thin enough not to interfere with the lid's opening and closing mechanism and properly fits the can's rounded bottom. I purchased one for each of the simplehuman step ons for each of our bathrooms on Ebay for $3 each. The weights fit perfectly in every way, and neither can has ever shifted or tipped over. Every time, the lids open and close properly. I have no issues about these step ons and am quite satisfied with them. The doors now stay open unless occupied, so I don't have to politely remind visitors to PLEASE close the restroom door when leaving. What's even better is that I've had to pick up absolutely no filthy shredded trash anywhere! ❤️😊

Umbra, Black Brim 13 Gallon Trash Lid-Large Kitchen Garbage Can with Stainless Steel Foot Pedal, Stylish and Durable Review:

I'll explain. When I first remove the can from its delivery box, I find three issues (an yes, it is a design flaw, not my specific can). The can won't open properly, won't close completely after it does, and the lid's hinge keeps coming off. This will not do for me because of the kind of person I am. The bottom plate is pulled off when I turn the can over and remove the two retention screws.I take out a white plunger that has an o-ring on it (presumably to hold the lid open). Reassemble the can, and it now opens and closes flawlessly with the lid hinge remaining in place. (Sometimes, when changing bags, you still need to manually insert the mechanism back into the hinge, but this is not a huge concern for me.) Even though it just remains open while my foot is on the pedal, it is all I require. When I used the can, I soon became aware of the tipping issue that was stated in previous reviews. Every time you press on the foot pedal, the base of the can slides back a little, eventually causing it to topple (the manufacturer sacrificed stability for a sleek tapered design). My can is against a wall, so I put something under the base to prevent it from scooting, which would cause it to tip, therefore this is not a problem for me either.I now adore this can completely after resolving all the concerns. As I use the can outside my home to dispose of my dog's waste, it looks excellent and is rainproof thanks to its all-plastic construction and overlapping lid.I like the can, it looks well, and yes, I would buy it again for my needs. Hope this is useful.

NINESTARS CB-SOT-30-1/5-1 Step-on Trash Can Combo Set, 8 Gal 30L & 1.2 Gal 5L, Stainless Steel Base (Round, Stainless Steel Lid) Review:

The tiny can is exactly that. Since it was an add-on, I didn't really think much about the dimensions before making the purchase. Despite being only half as big as I had anticipated, it fits nicely next to a desk for me. for envelopes, candy wrappers, and similar items. I'm happy with the cans' build quality and functionality because they match the description. There are no nasty shocks. It's important to note that upon opening, the lid can slip past the back of the can. I mention this so the customer is aware that the can's lid will bang against the wall behind it. The required space that must be left between the walls is big enough to note if one wants to solve this problem. I just let my lightly tap against the wall. Nothing major.

Umbra Grand 10-Gallon Swing-Top Trash Can, Black Review:

There are times, like right now, when you want to do the right thing and evaluate a product you purchased so that others can gain (perhaps) from it. But sometimes it's strange to write about certain things. People, it's only a garbage can, so maybe I shouldn't be too excited about my new Umar Grand 10 Gallon Swing Top Trash Can. I suppose that as I become older, things that may have been significant to me in the past are no longer. I'll say it like this. This is just what I wanted for the occasional use of the extra room during the winter months when it is too icy for my (adopted, retired) greyhound and I to risk life and limb ascending three flights of extremely dangerous outside stairs. Great dogs to adopt, had to slip that in there! Finding something that wasn't KITCHEN size proved more difficult than I had anticipated. Anything that huge wasn't what I wanted. Pee pads fit well in this size; I roll them up as tightly as I can and place them in the recyclable bags before placing them in a larger liner recyclable bag. The nicest feature of this 10-gallon trash can is its cover, which swings open to allow for bag insertion with one hand free. Its size is also a plus. You don't want something that weighs 50 lbs. if you have to take your trash down three freezing flights of stairs and then out to the curb. Using a larger garbage can will make it simple to reach that weight. Liquid is HEAVY. Additionally, if you use a large container, you risk getting an odor regardless of how many times you wrap the old paper or pads. I think I should say that I'm happy to have this 10 gallon (Plastic, which is a bonus because it's easy to clean out) trash can. It has a straightforward design, is portable, and doesn't topple over. I like it more than I anticipated. ANYTHING that simplifies life is a positive.

GLAD GLD-74515 Stainless Steel Sensor Trash Can with Clorox Odor Protection of The Lid | Fits Kitchen Pro 13 Gallon Waste Bags Review:

I'm very eager for this garbage can! I need a lid since my cats like to dig through the garbage, but I detest having to use dirty hands to open the lid. No more touching the garbage can when handling raw chicken or supper items thanks to this sensor-assisted easy opening. Behind the trash can, there is a convenient place to store trash bags, and the battery compartment is open for access. Bags fit in and out with ease, and altogether, this was a terrific purchase. Highly advised!

simplehuman 40 Liter / 10.6 Gallon Slim Kitchen Step Trash Can, Black Plastic Bin With Secure Slide Lock Review:

Step-open trashcans are used to staying totally in place when you step on them if you've ever used a steel trashcan, which is typically heavy at the base. Since it is made of plastic, it weighs substantially less than steel. As a result, when the trashcan is nearly empty, it will move quite a bit when you step on it. No matter how high-quality the garbage can is, moving it when you tread on it can feel cheap and be inconvenient because you have to put it back in place. Not to worry, though. The next time you go to your neighborhood grocery store, pick up a gallon of distilled water for less than a $1 and put it in the bottom of the garbage can to weigh it down. Then, regardless of how forcefully you step, it will remain in place entirely, making your trash can experience go from mildly irritating to quite enjoyable. If you use ordinary kitchen trash bags, the bottom of one of them sits just above the gallon of distilled water. Don't worry, there will be plenty of space once you add your gallon of distilled water. Naturally, you don't pour the water into the can; instead, you merely set the unopened gallon on its side in the container's bottom. Both High Quality and Very Affordable describe this trash can. Its weakness is the lack of weight in the base, but if you use this effective distilled water trick for less than a dollar, this baby will sing whenever you open its mouth. As an added advantage, you've already started preparing your survival supplies in case there is ever a natural disaster or other end-of-the-world situation.Have fun canning!

Umbra, Black Twirla, 2.2 Gallon Trash Can with Swing-top Lid Review:

I wanted a trashcan to swap out the white one with the lid in the picture. The trash is concealed, and the trash can does hold a regular plastic shopping bag with the lid on.Cons: Since there is a cover, I am unable to simply go over and throw any bathroom trash into the trash can! I had no idea that I would require a foot stool so frequently. At some time in the future, I might upgrade. I can't complain about it doing what it advertised because it was so inexpensive.

AmazonBasics Rectangle Soft-Close Trash Can - 30L, Satin Nickel Review:

Dear Fantastic Amazon Basics Trash Can:When you eventually arrived, I was so surprised with your hardworking attitude, sturdy physique, slim size, and how well you fit in to our home. Before meeting you in person, I assumed you might enjoy living in a more business or clinical setting. Unlike others with the same external cosmetics, you maintain such a lovely appearance, are impervious to dirt and smudges, and need so little upkeep to keep that lovely glow we've come to enjoy. And given who you are, would I lock you away in a pitch-black room? Oh, no! You are stunning and radiate beauty! You've already heard the praise. You are equally as sweet on the inside as you are on the outside, and I knew you were the one for us the moment I dressed you in that unfashionable, loose-fitting 15-gallon tall kitchen bag, which you gratefully accepted. Others could have rejected that, yet you were able to fit it without any specific equipment or measurements. You're simple to keep! You put a lot of effort into keeping us content, well-organized, and clean, and you put up with everything we may throw at you, no matter how repulsive. You constantly keep a tight lid on everything and are discrete. You work so quietly and delicately, and you never lose your temper and slam things. We tend to step on your foot quite a bit, but you never appear to become upset or lose your cool. There are moments when the smell, weight, and worry are too much for you to handle, but it appears like you can hold a lot in. But you manage to keep going. And when you see me coming with a brand-new Glad bag that is perfumed with Fabreeze Lemon, you're overjoyed. You don't ask for much, do you? Please don't let anyone label you plain old trash; AmazonBasics Waste Receptacle, you've been a lovely addition to our home and you're AWESOME! Oh, and thanks for keeping your distance from the two nosy, trash-seeking dogs who also live here.Sincerely,KathleenHAHAHAHA!I'm sorry.Although we're simply being funny and couldn't help but inject a little comedy into a Trash Can review, this is actually another fantastic AmazonBasic product, and we're quite pleased with it. Thank you very much for giving me the chance to get and review such a wonderful product.
