Although adapters are often quite simple pieces of technology, this one stands out for the following reasons:1. The construction is excellent. The installation process usually reveals whether you purchased a high-quality item or cheap junk. I particularly like how the Displayport's release lever was designed; there's nothing worse than not having the grip strength to press some godawfully hard, low-quality plastic button.2. There is not even the slightest reaction delay. and performs flawlessly at 1080p.3. Finally, I just experienced a situation where the screen would jitter unceasingly. The adaptor is not always damaged as a result. I had it in just a little too tightly. This did not appear to cause any damage, which tells me the gadget is highly durable and will survive for a very long time. While it can display any quality or refresh rate that a normal VGA is designed to provide, I used it to display a 1440 x 900 graphics tablet screen. For the purposes of this review, I tested it at 1080p 60Hz, thus the Displayport will keep up as long as your VGA cable can transmit the signal.

It all began when I saw a cute small monitor in my neighborhood secondhand shop. The concept of having two displays connected to my workstation hadn't really occurred to me, but as I was in the thrift shop, I noticed a relatively new monitor with a $3.50 price tag sitting there. For $3.50 plus tax, I decided to join the two monitor club! To my astonishment, when I arrived at my office with my cheap monitor in tow, I discovered that I needed this tiny DP to VGA adapter to connect everything. Here it is on Amazon, which I opened. Cost-effective and ideal for the job. I have less than $11 invested and am enjoying dual monitor life. The product has not yet caused any issues.

Review is simple here. I still occasionally need a VGA adapter even though I have another Thunderbolt 2 adapter for USB and HDMI. When I needed a VGA adapter for a presentation in a room with just VGA, a colleague lent me their Benfei VGA device. Perfectly functional. I placed separate orders for myself and my assistance. At such a low cost, it delivers excellent performance. Why not adore it?

25-75% of the time, I work from home. To be able to run two displays off of the work laptop, I would bring the docking station home with me. I ultimately made the decision to test the laptop's ability to drive two monitors without a docking station. It has a Display Port and an HDMI. Therefore, all I needed to do to be good was convert Display port to VGA. Without a Docking station, I was able to use the laptop because it recognized the VGA monitor through the adaptor. It is much more practical for my home office to run two monitors without the large docking station.

Update #2: GIKERSY customer service contacted me after I downgraded my initial review to one star because the equipment failed to reliably maintain connection between my laptop and display. They offered to replace the goods or give me a refund. I have bought a comparable product from another company before this communication, and it's working out great, so I asked for a refund, and it was granted right away, no questions asked. I would think about making another purchase from this company since it seems to stand behind their goods completely. Updated rating based on the professionalism shown by the business in resolving the issue and making things right.Update:A few weeks later, the product stops functioning reliably. It now occasionally loses connection when plugging in a second monitor. Previously, I could simply unplug the monitor and replug it in to fix the issue, but now it doesn't always work. This has undoubtedly led to a great deal of frustration. I wished it had occurred earlier so I could return the item.Since my computer only has USB C and no display ports, and my older monitor only supports VGA connections, I bought this. This can be used with both the older and newer HDMI monitors. It connects easily to the Nintendo Switch and can operate simultaneously with both VGA and HDMI. Works flawlessly!

In order to use my new MacBook Pro's USB-C connector with my old Dell monitor's VGA port, I recently acquired a new MacBook Pro for business. At a church, I provided system setup assistance when they needed to connect an iPad to a projector with a vga input. This worked and still works every single week.I did test it, though, and you cannot use that projector or vga input display to view copied movies or other media. However, that is not the adapter's problem; rather, it is the responsibility of good old neighborhood buddy Apple. I guess it functions if you send the output over Apple TV, just saying.Anyway, this converter works fantastically, and I appreciate that it can still receive a charge while in use.

Mini PCs at my place of employment only have one VGA port. I requested a second monitor and was informed that they needed to approve it since the cable they need cost more than $75. Knowing that this wouldn't be accepted, I made the decision to look for an alternative. I learned that the active display port cable my coworkers were using was manufactured by EVGA. It was entirely unnecessary to purchase such a costly cable from EVGA. I chose to try this because tiny PCs do in fact have display ports. Sure enough, it functions and I haven't had any issues. If they had known better, they could have saved a ton of money given how many people in the office used multiple monitors.

Purchased this to connect an Asus UX501VW high-end laptop to a 1080p display. I needed to use a second external monitor with a DVI connector because I was already using the laptop's HDMI video out port. I purchased this Thunderbolt 3 / USB 3.0/3.1 Type C video adapter rather than one that uses a USB 3.0 Type A connection. It simply worked, and I didn't have to do anything. No drivers and no tinkering It worked after being simply plugged in. It seems quite high quality and, if not the Type C plug and adapter body are made of aluminum, it feels like it. This is in keeping with the product's advertising. I like how they look because they match the color of my brushed aluminum laptop case. Although the connection that links the Type C plug to the DVI converter is a little stiff, I anticipate that it will become more flexible over time, as computer cables frequently do. It also resembles a lot of factory-made Mac products, so someone who owns a Mac laptop would likely also enjoy the design.I've tried it with two separate 1080p monitors and there is no flickering, so I'm pleased so far. decent bargain. One of the most affordable items I could find of its kind. I'd most certainly repurchase it and suggest it to everyone.

I bought this so I could use my MacBook Pro to deliver presentations in several classrooms (2016 non-touchbar). I've had success with this thus far. For 1 hour and 15 minute lectures, I use it four times a week. I attach it to my computer using VGA half of the time and HDMI the other half. Under my use (at a podium), the plugs are secure on all ends, and I haven't experienced any connection issues in more than two months. I enjoy how compact the USB-C end is since I frequently use my second USB-C port as a presentation controller. For the money I paid, I'm really satisfied with this.
Adding a VGA port to your computer is a simple process that can be done in a few minutes. First, you will need to purchase a VGA adapter. These can be found at most electronics stores. Once you have your adapter, simply plug it into an available USB port on your computer. Then, connect the other end of the adapter to your monitor or projector using a VGA cable. Finally, power on your display device and you should see your computer's desktop.
There are a few ways that you can connect your computer to your TV without a VGA input. One way is to use an HDMI cable. This will provide both audio and video signals. Another way is to use an S-Video cable. This will provide video signals only. Finally, you can use a composite video cable. This will provide video signals only.
If your laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, you can still connect it to a monitor using a DisplayPort, DVI, or VGA port. To do this, you'll need a cable that matches the port on your laptop to the port on your monitor. For example, you can use a DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, a DVI-to-HDMI cable, or a VGA-to-HDMI cable.
The most common way to connect a laptop to a monitor is through an HDMI cable. However, if your monitor does not have an HDMI input, you can use a VGA cable. To connect the two, you will need an HDMI to VGA adapter.
If your computer isn't recognizing your VGA monitor, you may need to adjust your display settings. To do this, open the Control Panel and click on Display. In the Display settings, you can choose to extend your display to a second monitor or duplicate your display on both monitors. If you're still having trouble, you may need to update your graphics drivers.
If your computer doesn't have a VGA port, you can use a USB to VGA adapter to connect it to a monitor or projector with a VGA input. To get started, just plug the adapter into an available USB port on your computer. Then, connect the VGA cable from the adapter to the VGA input on your display. In most cases, your computer will automatically detect the adapter and configure itself for use. If it doesn't, you may need to adjust your display settings manually.
