I bought this bag because I don't like having numerous bags and I need something to carry things when my family travels away for the weekend, specifically clothes for my husband, myself, and my child. Unexpectedly, I only own the large, cumbersome bags that you use to travel by plane.Regardless, it is of excellent quality and is a good size. Although the long handle is simpler to carry about, I like the side handles.The color is neutral and not awful at all. I chose the gray one because I don't particularly like brown, and despite the fact that it still contains some brown, I think it looks fine. There are two side pockets with zippers and one inside. UPDATE: I completed my journey. I purchased four of these duffel bags in total, but I only used three, along with two smaller bags. They have already taken a truck, two Ubers, a hotel shuttle, two airlines, and passed through baggage claim in addition to a yellow cab, and they have all arrived in Mexico City without incident. No rips at all. I'm awestruck. More pictures of the bags in their packed state have been included. At the airport, they all weighed around 40 pounds. They were quite tightly packed, and based on my measurements, I'm certain they surpassed the size restriction for checked baggage, yet I didn't have to pay an overweight fee at the Delta service desk. I made the decision to buy the Wandf after looking at pictures and reviews of all the other travel duffels that were quite similar in size. Only on the Wandf does the nylon strap completely circle the bottom. This is crucial for a purse made of such flimsy, light fabric. Additionally, a form of fabric bias tape that covers the raw fabric edges of the seams reinforces every seam from the inside. I examined every seam from top to bottom, searching for even the smallest weak areas or holes, but I saw none.Although I haven't used it as an under-seat travel bag for an airplane, I am confident in its durability.The only one that is near to 8 is this one "the one that comes closest to the Frontier Airlines "cabin bag" limit dimensions is deep.Update: I used this bag four times as an underseat bag on Frontier and United flights and had no issues with the quality. It is very astonishing how much can fit in the rectangle shape, which totally occupies the underwear area! A shoulder strap would be good, but that would add weight, and it already functions well.I did, however, tear down a cardboard box and use it to partially line the internal walls of the bag. Since I've only used it once, I may be rating this bag too highly, but since it held up well and fulfilled my expectations thus far, I've chosen to grade it accordingly. Whether to get the large or extra large, I wasn't sure. I ultimately chose the large, and there is plenty of room. I train in MMA, and this bag is perfect. Jump rope, jiu jitsu gi, gloves, shin pads, hand wraps, and still have room for a change of clothes. There are several pockets where I can keep additional items, such as water bottles, my phone, mouth guards, or sweat-soaked clothing, and keep them separate. You probably get the general concept that the huge has lots of room and pockets. However, you might want to get the extra big or just use a duffel bag if you want to use this for carrying items like football pads.

My husband and I ALWAYS travel light and just use carry-on bags. This duffel is PERFECT for packing laundry or any other goods we might pick up on our trip. June 9, 2016 Product Update: I wanted to add one more image to the collection after reviewing the Duffle below. I've gathered 27 pairs of running shoes to give to the mountain running community before I go for Nepal tomorrow. There is a group that collects new or lightly used sneakers to give to mountain runners of all ages. People in Nepal make less than $2 a day. The little settlements that have been ignored by the government are still feeling the effects of the earthquake. You'll be able to see how many sneakers I can carry with this duffle, though!Backpacks can be protected while flying to your destination in a packable duffel bag made by EMS and REI. They are roughly 8x10x2 and fit within a person's pocket. The cost of EMS's bag is $49.38 "long. Bag from REI is $29 and 36 "length. I found the Samsonite Tote-a-Ton after buying both and gave the more expensive bags back. However, the tote-a-ton is not cheap in terms of quality. With two strong handles to lift, the robust material is the same as the more expensive duffles. Both an inside and an exterior pocket are present. I own a 65L Osprey Aura AG. The pack measures about 31 inches in length. It fits into the duffle with plenty of room to spare. The backpack isn't actually packed yet, but I'm sure it will still fit in the duffel. This summer, I'll be packrafting in Alaska. I need a means of transporting my stuff and backpack to Alaska safely. After going through security on the plane, it was quite nasty. It might be some time before I use it again because I don't travel frequently. However, if you're hiking and need to store the duffel in your pack, the duffle's modest weight may be a benefit. I still think it's fantastic!
