We have bought a number of Learning Resources food play sets, including this one, the bakery set, the morning basket, and the supper basket, and we are really pleased with all of them because they are so much higher quality than any other cheap plastic play food we have used. Like the others, this set is made of premium vinyl rather than inexpensive plastic.The components are quite realistic looking, vividly colored, and intricate, down to the lines on the lettuce and the seeds on the tomato slices. The quality of other play food is light years away! The set includes carrot chips, tomatoes, cucumbers, red and green bell peppers, tongs, light and dark lettuce leaves, four serving bowls, one large salad bowl, sliced bell peppers (the description states you get red peppers also, but they are all yellow peppers). When picking up and placing the pieces in the bowls, the tongs are an excellent way to practice fine motor skills. The pieces in this set can be used to practice identifying colors and foods as well as counting the pieces. It also promotes healthy eating habits. I adore this pretend meal. It's the most realistic content I could discover. Additionally, the toys are incredibly sturdy and simple for tiny hands to hold and play with. When I bought this set for my son's first birthday, I was already aware with the brand because my sister had many sets of Learning Resources play food for her kids. The sets that belong to my sister are quite ancient, but they're still in excellent shape (except for the ones the dog chewed holes in). The kids have not chewed through or torn off any pieces of the plastic, and the paint does not wear off over time. Little youngsters can easily grip onto them since they are hard but squishable and the material is smooth to the touch but not slick. The fruits and vegetables are a good size for kids, too, despite not being "life-sized"; they are neither too big nor too small to be a choking hazard. Although the shape, color, and details are all very true to reality, they are also not to scale (the head of lettuce is about the same size as the onion, the ear of corn is about four inches long, etc.). This package also includes a sweet small tote. It's the perfect size for my one-year-old and all of the fruit fits within without spilling out.My son will be getting additional playthings from Learning Resources in the future. This 16-piece set is the ideal beginner set for the time being. I don't need thirty or so pieces of play food scattered throughout my home just now.

My children are 3, 6, and 9 years old. We make more purchases from Amazon than all other brick and mortar stores combined, and we've been Prime members ever since the service was introduced. I have written so few reviews that I can count them on one hand, but this one is deserving. With regard to all three of my kids, this is probably the greatest, most thoughtful toy I have ever bought. When my daughter was 18 months old, I bought the earlier model of this toy, which was always her favorite. For her, it never seemed to become boring. She recently brought it out on the back deck to play when she was 3.5 years old and unintentionally left it there. I sent her this replacement sticker after a rain caused the stickers to become completely soaked. My three and a half-year-old and my six-and-a-half-year-old were drawn to it like magnets the moment I opened it. Everything they adore is in there. Perfect size, perfect loudness, and most importantly, the sayings and tunes are very beautiful. Sharing, teamwork, and carrying out daily tasks in a kind way are the key concepts. It makes what we teach our children fun. For parents, it doesn't get much better than that. I can picture myself playing for years to come because this is much better than the first one. I appreciate Fisher Price! You absolutely nailed it with this one!

The storage and size of this kitchen are its best features. It can store a lot of faux foods considering how thin it is, which is fantastic. It delivers all the bells and whistles of the larger wood ones yet barely protrudes from the wall at all.Constructing it was simple. It will take much longer if you don't have a power drill for two reasons: 1. You need to install approximately 40 screws, several of which are 1.5 inches long. 2. Using a standard screwdriver would be very challenging, in my opinion, because the majority of the screw holes are NOT pre-drilled. Order a Ryobi!

This kitchen is fantastic. After inspecting other kitchens, my husband and I chose to purchase this one for our son. This little kitchen is a hit with everyone. On the stove top, there are two frying pans, two pots, and one kettle that are all in use and are creating the necessary sizzling or bubbling sounds. It's a lovely touch that the bubbling sound is actually getting faster and quicker. The grill is great and includes two knobs and a button that light up with the appropriate noises. Also included are a ton of accessories, such as play food, five spice bottles, two plates, two cups, two forks, knives, and spoons, as well as a colander, a ladle, a spatula, a serving spoon, and a pasta serving spoon. Despite the fact that this kitchen is great, for about $200, I would have preferred to have working buttons on the microwave, refrigerator, and oven. You have to hold the phone up to your ear to hear the buttons working because it is so silent. The kitchen now has lights, which my husband and I put to make it even more authentic. To allow you to see inside the grill as it begins to light up, we might even tear out the grill window and replace it with clear plastic. I think there is a ton of storage in this kitchen, but I noted that at least one reviewer didn't agree. The plates, however, do not fit within the cabinets.Since I prefer Learning Resources' quality and variety of foods more, I threw out the majority of the pretend food and replaced it with theirs.

I anticipated it to be compact. Nothing major. Even though the instructions weren't in English, they were essentially self-explanatory. Putting it together wasn't that difficult. Just a short while. I believe this design might use some work. When you attempt to open the microwave door all the way, it pops out. The door's top "peg" is constructed strangely and won't stay in place when the door opens. Yes, everything was firmly and neatly put together. For screws to fit in the plastic, you must to drill holes in it. They are only being held in by this plastic, which indicates to me that after a few months of play, they will likely fall out. I hope I'm mistaken. All to secure her a good acquisition, which I will unquestionably maintain for my son. He adores it. I simply hope it endures more robustly than I anticipate.

I was seeking for a walk behind toy for my 6-month-old baby, and this shopping cart is just what I needed. For his age, my son is incredibly powerful and can pull himself up on anything. He was thrilled to get a VTech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker for Christmas. Although the idea behind it was great, the fact that he was continuously leaning over it to try to interact with the toys on the front while standing behind it made it unstable.The first time my kid used this cart, he was cruising along, thrilled to be walking, when he lost his balance and fell while still clutching the handle. This cart is a little on the light side. He was hit in the face by the play top after the cart overturned and fell on top of him. The components are so light that he wasn't even wounded, but he was nonetheless surprised by everything. Since then, I have strengthened the carriage's weight by drilling a few holes and zip-tying a few little weights to its underbelly. In this manner, they take up little room in the cart and have no harsh edges for curious fingers to investigate.For the top, I put some hardware as well to stop it from coming off so easily. For the top to be removed, the metal tabs I added that catch the lip within the cart may be twisted out of the way. Although at the time it was the simplest option, I would have preferred not to use metal. I might replace the metal tabs with wooden ones when I get time (not that I ever have time with a baby).We adore this item to the hilt, but I did deduct one rating for the required adjustments. Since our son is unusually tall and robust for his age, it's possible that your child may love this toy just the way it is. The toys may be accessed (but not triggered) from behind the cart, which also features locking back wheels. When my son is standing behind the cart, we like to push the button to turn on the popcorn popper for him because he loves it.fun to develop into. Although I'm not sure if we would use them, it's wonderful that there are options for English, Spanish, or French.

This ramp was ideal for our 2-year-old. Every day he plays with it and always requests that it be set up in the morning. He appreciates the many ramp types and the fact that most of his cars fit on the circuit. It works with Hot Wheels, Little People, and other similarly sized vehicles. The bigger than the VTech cars cars we have that are intended for babies don't fit.I've read reviews that claim this track isn't particularly durable once it's built. Both are true and false. This doesn't bother me for two reasons:1. You should be able to disassemble the tracks and reassemble them in one of three different ways. The joints being looser therefore makes sense. The tower components are highly strong and are not intended to separate from the start ramp at the top.2. It is loose enough for my toddler to assemble and disassemble the parts. He enjoys working independently and on his own. If he couldn't put the track together by himself, he would be very frustrated.Finally, this song is excellent for people who live in cramped apartments. When we're finished, we simply disassemble it and store it in one of our toy bins. We are really happy to have this toy.
