I appreciate this oddball desktop organizer for a number of reasons. It contains several different-sized storage compartments that are appropriate for pencils and pens, a phone, and desk accessories like rubber bands, thumbtacks, paper clips, erasers, stamps, etc. It's practical for having often used minor goods close at hand and can even be a convenient location to charge my phone. The building is sturdy yet has a slight artisanal irregularity that gives it a more handmade than machine-made appearance. It is made entirely of metal, has four non-slip rubber pads on the bottom, and appears to have a decent covering of enamel or another durable finish on every surface. It's the right size for the typical desktop—neither too huge nor too small.

For what it is used for, everything works excellent. The file stand component with the three spaces on it is the one thing that really bothers me. That is relatively small, and all I have in it is a small amount of paper, yet it keeps toppling over. Although it's a touch wider than is necessary for sticky notes, they fit in the note holder. A good number of pens fit in the cup.

I used it to arrange writing instruments like pens and pencils on the desk. I don't remember what it was wrapped in, but the item arrived in fine shape and undamaged. It is a black wire mesh, as per the advertisement, and is, in my opinion, somewhat glossy. The top try is made of plastic. appears to be solid and well-soldered. The device held up well when I tried to twist it. The bottom includes four 1/2"-diameter rubber anti-skid pads and is made of thick solid metal at the elliptical ends and mesh in the central square. I briefly moistened one and rubbed it on white paper, and there were no stains. They seem to be silicone-like. It weighed 15.6 ounces on my digital scale.To give you an idea of the sizes of the various compartments, I've included photos using a ruler. The device is elliptically formed overall, measuring approximately 9-1/2" long, 4-1/2" broad, and 3-3/4" tall.I use the 4 compartments at the elliptical ends of the unit to separate pens, pencils, highlighters, and other writing implements. The perpendicular measurements of the compartments are 2-1/2" with the rounded portion looping around. About 15 pens or pencils of the same size might fit in one compartment. It should be noted that my Dish TV remote does fit with a little room in this compartment, but I don't use it for that.The plastic top middle tray has three sections that measure approximately 2 x 3", 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 x 1", and 1-1/4 x 4 x 3-3/4 x 1" (L x W x Depth). In these, I store a 12-foot tape measure, a staple remover, and paper clips, but I might create room for earbud headphones. The plastic tray is detachable, creating a compartment with the specified dimensions and one inch of depth.The box in the middle of the table measures approximately 3-3/4 W x 4-1/4" D x 2-1/4" H, and it has a smooth metal aperture that you can use your finger to open. It can accommodate conventional business cards and/or Post-its that are 3 x 3", but 3 x 5" cards will not fit. Index dividers for the business cards probably won't fit. For ten years, I've had a black version of this. They are therefore exceedingly strong. I recently changed the colour scheme of my office to gold and white, so I was happy to find this exact pencil holder when I went hunting for one. All of my scissors, box cutters, pens, pencils, and sharpies fit inside one bag. This organiser looks fantastic. I strongly advise. It had some glue on one of the seams when it arrived, but I removed it with a knife. It's amazing except from that.

These were supposed to last me for one trip. The mesh plastic material turned out to be stronger than it appears in the picture, which surprised me. comparable to a conventional (not sturdy) shower curtain. The plastic doesn't smell bad! With its attached toggle, the smooth zipper is convenient when your hands are wet.Six individuals will be traveling with us as a family and will share two large suitcases in addition to carry-on luggage. I will name-tag the two largest bags and use them to store a week's worth of socks and underwear. Those things shouldn't be mixed up! I'll use the smaller ones to store snacks, earbuds, makeup, toiletries, and charging cords. To arrange the massive mess, these would also be useful in a handbag or backpack.
