These were purchased to complement the lighting for our band's small-club performances. I have some outdated American DJ lights that are too large to try to put up, consume 600 watts, and are glaring in confined spaces. I'm a little surprised by how intelligent these tiny fellas really are. For such a basic device, the range of patterns produced is actually quite good. They react to the music well without being annoying. The audio stream is decent but not particularly polished because of the haze machine we utilize. These are excellent as a low-cost dance floor party light or for DJs that need to complete light system gaps.The only issue we had was that even though one remote may operate both lights, if they are farther away than a few feet, the remote will not operate them simultaneously. However, since one could be tuned for one color or speed pattern and the other to another, this was not a negative thing. All in all, an excellent addition to the show for the money. Now, let's test if they can hold up without cracking.

After reading the other reviews, I was apprehensive, but I'm glad I made this buy! The mirror ball did have a few cracks when it arrived to me, but they were barely evident once it was hung up. The fact that some of the mirror pieces weren't exactly straight across, as some other people noted, wasn't either. The ball was very carefully packaged with loads of bubblewrap, so I was shocked that it wasn't in excellent condition. However, after an object travels in the mail, you can anticipate a certain degree of "damage." Three of the pieces broke off the bottom of the mirror after a few days due to a small bolt hanging out of the bottom, but I've had it for a month and none have since. Because it came from the bottom, it is hardly even noticeable. Just use superglue for an easy fix! Despite several flaws, I believe the product to be worth the price. It is larger than I anticipated, and I am quite pleased with my purchase. It seems to be rather durable and greatly improves a setting and a gathering! I'm delighted I opted against paying more for a product that would probably be same or even of lower quality. Despite the few "damages," I would still strongly suggest this product. As I already mentioned, the little flaws are hardly evident at all!

I'm returning a spinner with a 6 RPM and some LED lights integrated in (that were pretty but not bright enough to matter much). Although 6 rpm is too quick, it wasn't horrible, however it was made of plastic.I purchased this to replace another item, but after installing it and turning it on, I fell in love with this one because it was only half the price. It is entirely made of metal. The metal chain is thicker than the plastic chain I previously bought, and the "keyrings" (connectors) at either end are significantly thicker. The three-prong power cord is hefty. Heavy duty is accurate!The speed differential (6rpm and 1rpm) is comparable to that between a quiet, underwater excursion and practically warp speed.There doesn't seem to be a power switch on it. My old one had a power switch, but I never used it because I use a remote power outlet (my favorite brand is Prime) with two outlets and an extension wire to turn on the motor and any pinlights simultaneously (one button press).

I had very low expectations for this product because of the reviews on it and comparable products, and I believed it would break before the end of the night. it didn't, but! I purchased this disco ball to use as an accessory with my Studio 54 Halloween costume because it was the ideal size to tote around. I either spun the ball in the air or wore it around my neck as a necklace the entire night. It was fantastic and never broke!
