The stethoscope is excellent, and the cuff functions well. When performing another person's pressure, there is no tab to attach the gauge to. It doesn't have any assembly instructions either, but it was simple to figure out. I doubt that someone with weak finger muscles could successfully attach the tube. There were no instructions on how to position the stethoscope so that the tips point forward into the ears, which is necessary in order to hear the heartbeat. They were in the same range when I measured my pressure with a different instrument, indicating that it was well-regulated. It will be useful for testing my husband's blood pressure because the automatic self-inflating devices don't give an accurate reading.

I recently had to get a new BP cuff to replace my old, outdated one. I choose this one after perusing the options on Amazon and reading the reviews. It is a wise decision. Something a touch "below" my old, worn-out cuff that cost about $75 was what I had anticipated. Wow, was I ever delighted! The cuff is quite attractive and sturdy. It also comes in a lovely zip-up bag that could be put in a purse or similar container. The dial may be moved from the cuff to a table, etc. for easy reading while you are taking a blood pressure reading, and the readings are accurate. I am SO happy that I went with this BP cuff because I believe it will last for many years.

As a nursing student, I got this cuff merely to get more experience. I wasn't planning to purchase a cuff until I discovered one at a reasonable price, as $40 was the lowest price anyone could locate for one nearby. It functions exactly as it should and the price was very reasonable. I chose this item since it was the lowest when I quickly made a purchase by looking up product names and pricing. Since I hadn't read any descriptions before purchasing the item, I was shocked to see a stethoscope in the box. Although it isn't a particularly good stethoscope, it allowed me to hear what I needed to in order to take my blood pressure. My 2-year-old daughter already has a good stethoscope, but I was considering getting her her own so she won't play with mine. She enjoys using the blood pressure cuff and stethoscope. She despises going to the doctor, but she enjoyed having the cuff placed on her and trying to listen alongside me. As a result, I am truly hopeful that this impulse purchase may enable me to treat my daughter's White Coat syndrome; in that case, it will have been worth twice as much as it did! This was the perfect size for my thin arm, which was about 6-7 inches in diameter. Anything larger than 8 inches is most likely too large for a reliable reading.

I calibrated my older blood pressure monitor at my medical institution. I checked it five times before throwing it out. The three main components of measurements are accuracy, repeatability, and resolution.
