Over the course of the year, metal toys left in the bottom of the pool, wooden tables left on the shelf, and occasionally blue algae killer poured onto the shelf discolor the plaster of our pool. To get rid of the stains, we utilize citric acid.I focused on stains as I dumped the entire 10 pound sack into our 40,000-gallon pool. This is the ninth year we have done this, and I always end up adding the additional amount. I could have begun with half that amount and waited to see the outcomes.I perform this treatment once a year in February, just as the temperature begins to rise, to ensure that the water is free of chlorine and has a pH of 7.2 or higher. The procedure won't be harmed by the chlorine, but the citric acid will be destroyed. Because citric acid will cause the ph to drastically decrease, you want it to be high. You don't need to switch off the filter for 24 hours like we did. I stay away from rainy days to keep the water pure.We begin applying bleach (from the bottle) after two days in order to gradually raise the chlorine level. We begin reintroducing salt once the chlorine has reached a safe level. We turn on the chlorinator and begin progressively raising it once it detects an acceptable level of salt. When the water is at least 60 degrees, all of this is done. Despite having notes, I never add the 2 quarts of Metal Free by Natural Chemistry that I intend to after a few days. Our pool raises the pH level on its own and never needs anything to do so. Additionally, my notes advise against using shock for two weeks.The procedure restores the majority of the plaster to a brilliant white, but it was unable to entirely eliminate the rust stains at the bottom of the deep end.After a week of heavy rainfall, my pool's chlorine level decreased, and the bottom started to develop areas of algae. I doused each location with Clorox Control Bleach Crystals, Regular, 24 Ounce Bottle. The crystals took a time to dissolve after sinking to the bottom, killing the algae in a matter of hours. I won't stop using citrix acid in the spring, but the rest of the year, I'll switch to chlorox crystals.

What a wonderful find I am very thrilled right now because this is one of my favorite things. I purchased the 1 lb bag because it was beautifully packaged and the zip-resealable bag was substantial. If you want, you can also place it in a jar. Yep, I did well on my taste test. Freaky, huh? However, I'm a tartness crazy.Uses1 When I was out of lemon juice and really craving a glass of lemonade, I improvised and mixed about 1/8 teaspoon of the powder with a few drops of lemon oil to give it the flavor of real lemon juice. Add ice, mix, and you're good to go.Two sticky messes This product, when combined with liquid dish soap, zaps the dickens out of the icky grease, making cleanup much quicker and simpler.3 Laundry Occasionally, when there is stubborn dirt on your clothes that is difficult to remove, I will combine 1 tablespoon of this with laundry soap for 1 load. This provides the soap an extra push and, in most situations, doubles the cleaning result.4 As others have stated, rust is also removed.5 I occasionally create soap with a terrible hue, but I've discovered that adding a few pinches of this lightens it. However, you should be aware that depending on the quantity used, it might also thicken the soap.6 Excellent skin cleanser, particularly for oily skin when combined with soap and used as a facial wash in baths and showers. Best of all, it is all-natural. So happy reviewer is going to go play right away because we have adventures ahead of us with the acid. I hope this helps.

Everything is bigger, as we like to say in Texas! Considering the enormous roaches we see in South Texas's semi-tropical environment, that is unquestionably the case. I reason that if pesticides (or herbicides) can kill living things, they can't be beneficial for my family and I, who own animals. I've tried utilizing borax in the past, but the results were meager. I've been given the Silver Bullet by Florida Laboratories! I quickly made a paste by combining equal portions of boric acid, sugar, and maize powder with just enough boiling water. Out of corrugated cardboard, I created my own "Texas size" roach traps, leaving two ends uncovered. These were put in the garage, restrooms, and kitchen. I distributed invitations to the massive roach party! One night was all it took for a significant body count!! Amazing is the only word to describe it! The customer service at Florida Laboratories followed up on my order with emails to make sure I had received my boric acid and was satisfied with it. I wholeheartedly endorse this stuff!ADVANCED: March 2019. Two years have passed since my first roach sighting. It's time to prepare some of my special boric acid snacks for yet another roach party!

Outstanding, as I anticipated, this product eliminated rust from areas that others couldn't reach. I gave this product a bad rating because of you, the customer, rather than the manufacturer, seller, or the efficiency of oxalic acid. Read about how you are solely responsible for maintaining your safety.One of my stains, which wouldn't go out with anything else, was in a wall-mounted plastic (perhaps made of thick 1/4" ") sturdy laundry sink made of white plastic that is worth preserving. The ugly stain has been completely removed. Additionally, a 2 foot arc of rust that was about 3 "even the previous owner had given up trying to remove the concrete in front of our garage, which is broad. In each instance Although I don't know if that can be true about all the surfaces you might apply this to and the bottler didn't provide a list, I saw no collateral harm to the materials the rust was on after applying Oxalic.This product can significantly burn your eyes, and in the worst scenario, it could even cause you to lose your vision. Your skin may potentially be severely burned. As a result, I ordered long sleeve, sturdy, rubber, multi-layer gloves from Amazon that can withstand acids. However, because the gloves are long, it is IMPORTANT to fold some of the extra length into the cuffs while you are elevating your hands while wearing wet gloves. The best first aid is YOU FLUSHING your eyes (with them wide open and that's hard to do) for minutes, maybe as many as 15. Always wear eye protection, the wrap-around kind like you might wear swimming, and know where the nearest water and on-off valve are and how to find them without being dependent on vision. It's also a good idea to have a cheap eyewash cup on hand, but that serves no purpose if you can't get water to put to your eyes very away.You must rinse surfaces (as I did with the concrete) until the concrete and the discharge from that washing are sufficiently diluted to not harm bare feet or pets. This container is 99.6% pure as given, so it cannot get more deadly. For whatever reason, this powder does not homogenize (blend thoroughly into a suspension) with water. It won't be simple to solve, but you can manage it. It also refused to become a paste. After flooding the surfaces and applying the powder, I stepped away. I went back and kept applying until the task was finished. To extend the amount of time it would be damp and to help turn it into a paste, I covered the area with paper towels. I had to lift off the shaker cap after removing the lid in order to efficiently get granules out one at a time, some of which had formed marble-sized lumps that needed to be crushed

I'd like to thank everyone who gave up their time to write such thorough reviews for people like myself.For nearly four years, I've experienced recurrent yeast infections. I only recently became aware that I was also experiencing BV about once a month. I would experience a YI after every sexual encounter with my boyfriend, who I have been dating for about 4 years. I feel as though I've tried everything because I've had the yeast infection for such a long time: Nystatin pills, fluconazole (which never helped; I don't know why they provide this nonsense), and anything in the "nazole" family; garlic; yogurt; hydrogen peroxide; you name it, I've done it. It will disappear before returning immediately. I really started to feel down when I started getting BV infections. I used to sob in the shower and then weep myself to sleep. Why me, why me questionsBoric acid is something I've heard of for a very long time, but there hasn't been enough research done on it for me to test it. I didn't want to put any acid there because that would have affected my PH even more. While on the train in New York City, I googled "boric acid" and found this. I'm pleased I clicked on it and started reading each and every review. I bought some organic coconut oil and some veggie 00 capsules on the same day. I filled up around 70 capsules after receiving my box in about 30 minutes, and I put one in at night (I rub the coconut oil on the exterior of the capsule and on the outside of vagina). The following morning, I was drenched! I should have used a liner, actually. I'm still in disbelief that I feel this good four days later. I feel clean, lovely, and refreshed. I usually repeat myself because my lover and I just had sex, but not this time! I'm tidy! I'm going to keep doing it for the next seven days even though I feel terrific, and then I'll start adding 1-2 per week. Even with Prime, the product arrived 3–4 days earlier than projected!TMI AdvisoryNo one likes to discuss about acquiring YIs or any other diseases in/on their lady flower or disco stick, but life happens, and you deal with it when it arises.When I don't get enough sleep or if I don't drink enough water for more than a week, I frequently have YI. Gives your feminine PH imbalance a real knockout two-punch. Probiotics do aid with that, contrary to those research that claim they don't. along with rest and water (at least in my personal case).When using this as a suppository, a word of caution: you will need to wear a cotton panty-liner or light colored underwear for a while during use- and change them 2-3 times a day. White discharge will eventually result from the powder's final release. Put it in before bed after you've cleaned up so you aren't moving around too much, check things there in a mirror (body shy be damned), and then hit the sleep in cotton underwear. Be careful to clean up a little extra in the shower if it doesn't all come out in underpants (if you get my drift).When you're not wearing this, it's okay to occasionally go to bed naked or bottomless to let things out (always go to bed clean). This is not me being kind, but this stuff works so well. I combined part of this with sugar water and cotton balls to treat a severe ant infestation, and a few days later, all of the ants were gone. The food we leave out for the squirrels was being eaten by a rat that I also saw in my backyard. I mixed some of this with some peanut butter and put it in the hole where the rat was coming from so the squirrels wouldn't eat it, and we haven't seen it since. This is a really effective pest controller; although I haven't used it for anything else, I'm very sure it will get rid of roaches as well. However, I can't speak for that one because I never had a chance to offer them to a friend who had that problem before they left the property. 10s all the way around

I'll be upfront: I don't have much experience buying and using boric acid. Recently, my husband's employer determined that it would be a good idea for us to relocate to California. However, California is currently experiencing an extremely severe drought. Fleas are apparently a year-round annoyance in California due to the climate, but they are a billion times worse now because of the terrible drought. Because we Midwesterners are unaware that fleas actually exist, we do not consider monthly flea treatments for our pets. Fleas do, however, occasionally appear.I made my first ever purchase of boric acid since I had read online that it often aids in the killing of fleas in rugs/carpets and on upholstered furniture. I used boric acid on the carpets in my home because it has wood floors and numerous area rugs covering them. I shook the acid around on the carpets and then swept it in with a broom to work it through the fibers. I left it on the carpets overnight before vacuuming it up. Although I have read that one can also use it to create a liquid solution to apply to solid surfaces, I didn't try it this time. I believe that the use of boric acid treatments, flea treatments on the animals, and washing all of our bedding and clothes in extremely hot water has successfully eliminated the majority of our flea population. Technically, the boric acid is supposed to do a pretty decent number on them, but we'll have to wait and see if any more eggs hatch and try to re-infest our home. I will update you. If there are no further updates, you can assume that everything worked fine and everyone is content and flea-free.

I enjoy it. was used to thicken a hand cream that had become too liquid over time. Typically, 2.4 tsp are required for an 8 oz cream. But be careful—it doesn't thicken right away, and adding more isn't the right move.Two grievances:1) Made the cream a little bit scratchy. I had to repeat it twice more before I got it right.2) There are no directions for "melting" it into a liquid to use with hand cream. Although it produced #1, I can see how people might utilize it for other things.

We never imagined that a physician would recommend boric acid powder for a medical purpose. Irrigating my husband's inner ear with a boric acid solution twice a day for at least a year is required by an ear-nose-throat expert who performed delicate surgery on that ear. Imagine how challenging it was to follow the ENT doctor's instructions since we only knew boric acid as a roach killer! We like being able to purchase this powder in large quantities from Ecoxall. We must dissolve the powder in warm water because it is very fine and simple to do so. Overall, we are content.
