It's a very amazing thing. has excellent MPP capabilities, and I have 3 of them connected in parallel to give me 7200 watts at 120V in my RV. They effectively share the workload while operating in parallel. Almost always, one inverter will have approximately 40 watts greater capacity than the others, but I can handle that.The screw terminals are fairly delicate, if I had to pick something. I've already broken two of them, so I had to drill and tap new connections into the bus bars.I'm charging a lithium battery and a custom lipo battery that I made myself, and programming them is quite simple.

I've been waiting for someone to create this for years, so it's a good thing I already have a lot of Greenworks 40 volt G-MAX batteries. Up until recently, the only options for portable power inverters were bulky, pricey models with internal batteries. This device's operating period is only constrained by the quantity of batteries you have, and because it is so small and light, you can easily throw it in your backpack when you go trekking or traveling. It is fan cooled, appears to be strong, and features fault protection. To test the AC output's operation, I plugged in my battery charger and made sure the red power light turned on, even though I've only used the USB outputs so far. One thing I discovered is that even when the inverter unit is off, the battery continues to drain power, therefore the battery must be unplugged whenever the inverter is not in use.

With this inverter (PST-300-12), you may change 12 DC volts into 120 AC volts. I intentionally bought this inverter to build a DIY battery-inverter box utilizing a 33 amp-hour battery (modeled after the Goal Zero 23000 Yeti 400 Solar Generator).An LED bulb or the chargers for tiny devices can both be powered by a 300 watt inverter. The biggest error individuals make when using a 300 watt inverter is overloading it.You should be aware that this inverter can only output up to 150 watts (most likely, 100 watts) while using the cigarette lighter in your car as a power source. A lower-capacity pure-sine wave inverter, such as the 150 watt Samlex PST-15S-12A or the 180 watt AIMS Power (PWRI18012S) 180W Pure Sine Power Inverter with Cables, would be a better option for these people.Depending on the length of the line, you will need to run wire of the right gauge (8 AWG, 6 AWG, or 4 AWG) if you want to wire this inverter for functioning above 150 watts (3 feet or less, 3 to 6 feet, 6 to 10 feet, respectively). Unit bought = 4000 watts. usage for RV and fifth-wheel propulsion.Received via Amazon two days after purchase in fine condition, but remote is missing.Three days after customer service contacted me, I received the lost remote.Works as expected. I intend to use it to power my fifth wheel when traveling. Before placing the unit in my fifth wheel, I tested the unit to make sure it could bear the load. Using two strands of 4/0 wire for both positive and negative, I connected it to four 300amp AGM lifespan batteries (the four 8 gauge wires provided were too short and did heat up on heavy usage).. When tested with two 1500 watt heaters for a 3200 watt load, it ran smoothly for nearly two hours until draining the batteries to half their capacity and below 10 volts, causing them to automatically switch off. Recharged batteries were used for the second test, which was completed while installing a third 1500 watt heater. went into overload mode at startup, using 6200 watts, then dropped to 4200 watts and continued to perform well until the batteries' voltage dropped below 10 volts, at which point it automatically shut off.Despite drawing power, the device still supplies what is required. I then put it to the test in a microwave and an RV refrigerator. There were no strange noises or problems, and the electricity was plenty. Although I haven't tested the pure sine wave power yet, running heaters and motors with it hasn't caused any problems.The unit may be fitted easily within a 5th wheel front storage compartment despite its good size (generally=length around the size of ordinary man's chest and half the breadth, therefore it is pretty huge).The remote switch performs admirably.My unit didn't come with a remote at first, but that turned out to be a pro. The business actually got in touch with me via Amazon email to see if I received the device and how it was functioning. Three days after I notified Elsa (Customer Support) that I had not received a remote, she gave me one. outstanding customer service. Excellent client service and the unit operates as stated.(02/10/2019) Update - Although I haven't yet placed it in my RV, I tested it for pure sine wave electricity and found that it complies with specifications. I've never experienced any problems powering my laptops or delicate electronic parts. On full power, this device will draw more than 600 amps (12 volts), so I strongly advise owners to replace their wiring and use numerous stands of heavy gauge wire. I chose to use four strands of 4/0 wire because I had extra from a previous solar project (two strands of 4/0 work just as well). The more strands and the bigger the wire, the better. We needed the Pure Sine Wave 110 electricity to ensure that no electrical device we power would have any problems. if you want to draw more than 9 amps, you can directly hook it into the system, which is what I did at my cabin. running two massive 12VDC Group 31 Solar batteries and two 315 Watt solar panels. I'll upgrade my grid with at least two more 12VDC batteries. very good, using a Renology controller Excellent inverter. Happy I purchased it.

800W of solar panels power this inverter for me. It fluctuates throughout the day from 0 to roughly 500W loading. In a room with a temperature of 75°F, internal fans above 300W occasionally turn on and remain on above 400W. I installed an external computer fan, which pumps air onto the cooling vanes and largely turns off the internal fan even when the system is under heavy stress. I am averaging 92 percent efficiency under a 125-watt load and 94 to 95 percent efficiency above that, according to numerous metres measuring the DC in and AC out. has performed admirably thus far, and I am curious to see how it will fare under the summer sun when the solar panels will maintain a longer and larger loading pattern.

I placed my order for this back in December, and as of January 2nd, it is connected and in use. I wanted to wait till I had given it a full test before writing a review. So far, I've had success with it. Additionally, the tech assistance is not that bad. They will communicate with you via email, which can be challenging when you're waiting for a real-time response, but they are eager to thoroughly troubleshoot every installation step. Because I have seen many unfavorable reviews, I want to be sure to provide a brief explanation of how Solar operates. This inverter can only output power into the grid in proportion to the amount of energy you feed it through panels or another energy-harvesting equipment. You must calculate the loss if you have ten 100w panels. You can only generate a maximum of 850w with most top-tier panels because they typically only have an efficiency rating of 85%. Additionally, it would be important to consider the shade, or making sure that all of the cells are getting enough exposure. You must consider how much direct sunlight they are receiving even if you are unprotected by any shading. You can't anticipate a big wattage to be generated if you check at 9 am and it's only dimly sunny and warm outside. Make sure your equipment is properly configured before taking measurements at the right times of day. I use 2 rather good 280w panels, averaging 420-460w for roughly 5 hours each day.

I loved the battery, but the on/off button broke off the first time I used it while traveling. The wire on the 30 foot line I also bought for the solar panel entirely pulled out of the plug. Lack of quality. after having a conversation with customer service. They gave me advice on how to resolve the button issue and are sending me a new cord.
