Weber 50060001 Q1000 Liquid Propane Grill Review:

This grill is amazing; it's ideal for cooking for up to four people. This grill is also of the high caliber you would expect from Weber. This grill will work with either sort of disposable gas canisters, which is convenient if you want to take it to the beach. However, I also purchased an alternative hose so that I could connect it to a regular refillable tank. Although I already have a suitable cart, you may also purchase a folding cart. The finest part is the fantastic, two-piece, porcelain enameled cast iron cooking grates, which are of the highest quality and fit in your sink. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to adequately burn my steak with only one stainless steel burner at 8500 BTU, but there was no issue. You do want to follow the instructions and preheat for 10-15 minutes, though; otherwise, it's fine. I debated between getting an infrared grille and getting this one, but the clean up and the stated issues in the infrared grille reviews scared me away. I'm really pleased with my purchase, and I know that any replacement components I might need in the future will be available.

Weber 54060001 Q2200 Liquid Propane Grill Review:

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews regarding how much "construction" is needed for this. The "assembly" is simple if you have a Phillips screwdriver and know which end fits into the screw and which end you hold in your hand. Cooking over an open flame may not be a good idea after all, though, if you are the kind who will almost certainly poke their eye out with the screwdriver. The "assembly" entails: 1. Using 2 stainless steel Phillips head screws, 2 spacers, and the handle, attach the handle to the front of the lid. The nuts are integrated into the handle, so you don't need a wrench. Just keep in mind: Righty-tighty, lefty-loosy. Avoid sticking a screwdriver in your eyes. In case you unintentionally dial 911, have a phone-carrying friend or family member nearby.2. attach the temperature gauge to the lid. The attachment uses a wing nut and is keyed. If using a wing nut is above your skill level, get assistance from an expert.3. Place two pins in the hinge points that connect the lower part and lid. It's as simple as fitting a round peg into a round hole. Again, do not use matches or propane if you are having difficulties in this area.4. To keep the pins in place, insert "hairpins" into the holes on the ends of the pins. Don't use the pins to pierce your eye. Never ingest pins.5. Put the battery (included) in the device, then twist the ignitor button's top. The flat end of the battery's button is inserted into the BBQ's button. Avoid consuming the battery.6. Now comes the challenging part: take the two-piece grill top out of the package and set it side by side on the BBQ.It took me longer to chop up the box and toss it in the recycling bin than it did to put this thing together, guys. If you don't have two fingers that can turn a wing nut, don't own a Phillips screwdriver, or aren't even remotely mechanically inclined, you should probably either buy one already constructed from a nearby store or hire a neighbor to do it for you.—Regarding the comments about the "invisible flame," propane burns fairly cleanly. The flame is blue, not completely invisible, and not very large. If you light this and it becomes hot, then there you have it. You will be let down if you were hoping for the barbeque to burst into enormous yellow/red flames. These grills perform admirably. I have prepared a few tri-tips, skirt steaks, etc. with one that my dad has kept for years. They warm uniformly. Closing the lid will be beneficial. He actually bought a second one to keep with his camper because his functioned so well. After admiring his work for years, I decided to purchase this one. They are portable and reasonably light. They are also very well constructed. However, they do require the bare minimum of assembly. Find a nearby retailer that will construct it for you if you think you won't be able to do it yourself. It's not tough, though. If you genuinely don't have a Phillips screwdriver, allow me to look it up for you on Google: https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-60-002-Standard-Phillips-Screwdriver/dp/B00009V430/ref=sr 1 6?s=power-hand-tools

Char-Broil Performance 300 2-Burner Cabinet Liquid Propane Gas Grill- Stainless steel Review:

My friend once said that since you already have something, you end up using it. That certainly applies to the old BBQ that I endured for a very long time. This time, on what would have been the universal fit grill's twelfth burner replacement, I determined it was past time for a new Q. The burner rusted out yet AGAIN, and this time, I went browsing on Amazon as flames were shooting two feet high on one side. Why did I hesitate to get this new Q for so long? The cast iron grill is just the correct size for the two of us at 18 x 16 inches. If we have guests over, I can still make eight or ten hamburger patties. The heat distribution on the cast grill is quite even, so there won't be any raw meat or burnt briquettes like there would be on the wire grill on the old BBQ. Which (every six months) corroded. The burner tubes, burner shields, and other pieces that are located underneath the grill are all made of stainless steel. I don't think I'll be noticing rust on this BBQ anytime soon.Pushing the lighter button instantly turns on the light. I was anticipating a Piezoelectric lighter that snapped like a snap, but this one utilizes a AAA battery that machine-gun snaps as you press the button, and you just let go of it when you hear the burners ignite. If you unintentionally place your hand on the top, you won't immediately suffer a second-degree burn because it contains an inner layer of metal (heat barrier). That is definitely a plus. The simplicity with which it came together shocked me. I only required a #2 Phillips, and I already had the necessary tools. Most sites use nut-serts, and everything is aligned properly. There are no half-moon holes, as there occasionally are when constructing a certain type of flat-pack furniture. Everything is labeled, and the hardware is packaged in blister packaging on a piece of cardboard. Four of the required screws are contained in a blister pod where they are needed in a certain stage. Want eight? There are eight of them in their pod, so you only need to cut open the one you need at a time.

Royal Gourmet 22 Inch Tabletop Grill, Portable Propane Gas Griddle, 2-Adjustable Burners, for Outdoor Camping or Picnicking Review:

Ugh!!!! If it weren't for our pressing need, it possibly would have scored higher. Orland, Florida Griddle showed up on Thursday as scheduled. BUT!!!.... As soon as we got home from work, we opened a gift in preparation for Hurricane Irma's inevitable power outage! Styrofoam was used to securely pack the product. We first observed that the stabilizing feet were missing. My husband calmed me down by telling me that he can adapt and succeed! The grease cup was then discovered to be missing! That will also require improvisation! Customer service is obviously closed. We would not receive the missing parts in time even if the department were open. Before settling on this product, we did a lot of research. We were quite pleased to see that the company representative had responded to a few of the posted reviews. But this is such a tremendous nuisance! We can only hope that the quality control safety standard is higher than the packing standard. The details matter. Horrible days are bad days.CHANGING OUR "Ugh" REVIEW AS OF 9.8.17. The fundamental reason we bought this griddle continues to hold true. Excellent customer service is provided. Even though yesterday's frustration was intensified, this company has really improved our opinion of them and their offering. We're improving our rating! I'm grateful to Royal Gourmet!

Blackstone 1554 Station-4-burner-Propane Fueled-Restaurant Grade-Professional 36 inch Outdoor Flat Top Gas Griddle Station-4-bur, 4 Burner, 36" Grill Review:

The 36" Blackstone griddle (model 1554) that I have been using for more than a year is the subject of this article. Overall, I think this griddle is a fantastic value, especially considering the price. Although it will cost you a LOT more money, you might be able to find a better griddle.Simple assembly is necessary. A single crate contained my griddle. The box lid immediately pulls off when the two plastic straps are cut. The parts appear to be securely packed. To assemble, I used a Philips screwdriver, an adjustable wrench, and a 10mm wrench. Once I had it opened up, assembly just took a few minutes. We probably would have finished in 10 minutes or less if I had some help. On Blackstone's website or on YouTube, search for "Blackstone 36" Griddle Assembly," and you may get an useful 3 minute assembly video. The griddle top tipped the scales at 55.5 pounds. If you're not confident lifting a heavy object this big on your own, ask for assistance.Send Blackstone an email or give them a call right away if you find an issue with your new griddle. My handbook listed their phone number and email for customer care on page 23. When I had a minor issue, their customer care was quite helpful. Email responses were rapid, and when I called, I quickly spoke to a live person (a real human being who spoke American as a primary language). Remember that customer service is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.Rust prevention oil is pre-applied to the griddle top. After installation, you should wash this oil off as directed in the instructions. I used hot water and dish soap. To remove the soap, I used plain hot water after that. I used a towel to dry the surface before turning on the grill to cook off any moisture. The top is made of carbon steel, not Teflon or stainless steel, and will rust if not well-seasoned. Many griddle users will now quickly start cooking by slathering on some bacon or oil. They develop the seasoning over time, preventing food from sticking and the griddle surface from rusting. In my situation, I wanted to season more deliberately.Similar procedures to those for seasoning cast iron cookware are used for a meticulous, long-lasting seasoning of the griddle. "Blackstone Griddle Top Recovery" is a Blackstone YouTube video. This video was created to demonstrate how to fix a rusted griddle top, but about 2 minutes and 39 seconds in, they discuss seasoning.Several articles I read about seasoning cast iron cookware with flax oil agreed with the Blackstone video. Ensure that the flax oil you purchase is organic, cold-pressed, unrefined, and chilled. Other than flax oil, you don't want any other additives in the oil. Before using, be sure to shake it properly and check the date. Although the oil is pricey, a large bottle is not necessary. I applied 6 applications to my griddle, using just a little bit more than 3 ounces of oil overall. There was less oil in each subsequent stratum.1. Applying a thin layer of flax oil to the cooking surface served as the seasoning coat or layer (I applied with a paper towel).2. remove surplus oil (I used paper towel).3. essentially burning the oil in the burners by turning on all of them for around 30 minutes (I ran a little longer than 30 min).4. Switch off the burners and let the griddle to cool.Repetition is required. Blackstone advises applying a minimum of 4-5 coats. Six coatings were advised in the cast iron cookware seasoning literature I studied.Your cooking surface should be lustrous black after the ideal amount of seasoning. I was getting close to the ideal lustrous black surface after applying six layers of flax oil.Check the level. Examine the level of the griddle before beginning to cook. Use a marble, a building level, or whatever else you can find. Make certain that liquid will flow in the direction of the drain. My patio slopes away from the house, so in order to direct the grease into the drain hole, I had to place the griddle's left wheels on a piece of scrap plywood.Cooking. Even with a superbly seasoned cooking surface, I still add a little oil to many of the dishes I prepare (for example, eggs).Cleaning the griddle is simple for me, helped along by my well-seasoned cooking surface. I usually need three to five minutes. On YouTube, I came across a video from a griddle user that was useful. Look up "Easy way to clean the Blackstone Griddle (Revised)" on YouTube. I use liquid oil, but the guy in the video uses spray.

GasOne B-5300 One High-Pressure Outdoor Propane Burner Gas Cooker Welded Frame No Assembly required 0-20 PSI Review:

Strong burner that can easily boil eight gallons of wort. Solid construction; no flex or wobbling at all. Simple to assemble, use, and store.Cons: When the package was opened, the bolt holding the burner was stripped and bent, and it was hanging. When I went to replace the bolt, I discovered that the burner bracket had been soldered on incorrectly. My 10-gallon kettle's flame now favors one side since the burner is slightly angled. It still works, but eventually I'll have to cut the bracket off and weld it back on square to the frame. The tension spring that connects the orifice and the air damper was also missing from the burner. In any case, it's not actually necessary and functions quite well without it.Overall, it's a decent burner that works well for the price. This burner is not for you if you're searching for high-quality materials and workmanship. Additionally, be ready to spend some time burning off painted surfaces that come into touch with the footprint of the flame. Once more, it's still a good deal given the price.

Weber 45010001 Spirit II E-310 3-Burner Liquid Propane Grill, Black Review:

In order to replace a Weber that I owned for more than 25 years, I purchased a 3-burner Weber Spirit II E-310. I use the grill at least twice a week during the summer, so it will get lots of use. A Weber costs more, but you have to replace other inferior grills every three to five years. Although this grill has a 10-year warranty, I believe it will last much longer. Several things have changed in the past 25 years: 1. Since the hood is not as deep, I doubt I will continue to cook any 12-pound turkeys. 2. There is only one flavorizer bar, rather than the usual two, and I believe this effects how evenly the grill cooks. 3. It's good that I finally got an electronic starter after 20 years without one, but we'll see how long it lasts. 4. The propane tank's gauge is less precise. There used to be a sliding scale, but there are now buttons of some type. Jury is dead. 5. The temperature appears to be higher while getting the same outcomes. Whereas earlier I would set the grill to 350, I now set it to 450 to obtain the same results—see the discussion at the flavorizer bar. Comparing a new Weber to one I adored from 25 years ago definitely isn't fair. I already enjoy the following: 1. Sturdy, strong build 2. Before cooking, oil should be applied on excellent grill grates. 3. The new spider prevention guard—those creatures can sneak inside very quickly. 4. If you like to cook in different areas, you must always have three burners. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the purchase. I'm confident that once I understand its peculiarities, my output will improve. I know for a fact that my Weber grill is superior to every other grill available on the market. I anticipate using it for many years, so the larger upfront expense will be justified.

Char-Broil 463377319 Performance Stainless Steel 4-Burner Cart Style Gas Grill Review:

On paper, the Charbroil model I ordered—apparently an Amazon exclusive—perfectly met my requirements. I was replacing (upgrading?) an old Ducane 3 burner that was completely rusted out and unsalvageable. The grill was shipped to me in a big box that was just partially open.Unfortunately, I had to wait a few days before starting to construct it after loading it into my hand truck and wheeling it out to the backyard.I was eager to begin the project after opening the product and finding nothing amiss. The left support frame, one of the MAJOR elements, had been bent during shipping, and there was no way to continue construction, I discovered after opening the manual and going to step 1. Very depressing. Even though it was after business hours, I called Charbroil and left a message for customer support, fully expecting more annoyance to follow. They contacted the following day, which surprised me, and we worked out a plan to register the goods and send me a replacement part.Wonderful, more waiting. After 3 business days, the right part was delivered.I've finally had a chance to put this together, and I have two initial thoughts compared to the Ducane it's replacing:The firebox and shelves are significantly more fragile because to the steel's smaller gauge. To the extent that, if your utensils were on the shelf, I'd say they probably couldn't support much more weight. Your results may vary because the instructions state "do not use more than 10lbs on this shelf." This disappointed me because I am used to some really strong shelves.I eventually found out that the firebox is also bent. most likely from shipping In actuality, the grill cannot close flush with the base due to the torsion in the stainless steel. Is that making me crazy? Absolutely, it is.Does Charbroil need to make any packaging improvements to stop this? It does, indeed.Would I spend a little bit more on a shelf unit with nicer design? Probably. The fact that the grate warms up quickly and cooks food uniformly is its saving grace.I therefore rate it overall with 4 stars. I feel like I am receiving a good value for my money. Go for it if this is all your money will allow.Again, the components may have been a little bit more durable, but for the price, I enjoy it. Simply don't love itGood fortune.

Cuisinart CGG-059 Grillster 8,000 BTU Portable Gas Grill Review:

Me: I'm a food-loving father from the United States with years of expertise grilling, smoking, and roasting outdoors, including whole hogs. In addition, I'm an engineering nerd who pays attention to details that many less technical people miss. You: The person who is unsure whether owning a portable barbecue is worthwhile.(I have owned the grill for a week and have used it multiple times before writing this first review. I commit to posting updates regarding durability or other new problems.)Here's why I enjoy this grill:It's well-made. A heavy gauge propane fitting is among the high-quality, all-stainless fittings (note: uses a standard 20lb propane tank, not a camp bottle). After I switch it off, it heats up to 600 degrees (F) in less than ten minutes and cools to the point that I can remove the grate with my bare hands in twenty. The internal thermometer is precise and quick (it reflected with perfect accuracy that it was 100F in the Carolinas the first day I set it up). Initial setup took no equipment and was as simple as unfolding the box, positioning the burner covers, and positioning the cooking grill.I made some enormous boneless chicken breasts that I purchased from Sam's for my first meal. Although I had assumed they were large when I bought them, when I took them out of the packaging to marinate, I made sure they weren't turkey breasts since they were still more than an inch thick at the wing-turn even after I had broken them out for grilling. By paying attention, even with veggies on the grill next to them, I was able to cook them to perfection with just the correct amount of char. After preheat, I moved on to steaks, and in 8 minutes I had a flawless medium-rare NY strip. The bottom of the oven and the burner shields are also made of stainless steel, making cleanup simple. To carry the grill like a suitcase and store it either horizontally or vertically (like you would store a luggage), the legs fold up, and the lid latches to the side.Tabletop is exactly what they mean when they say it. After preheating the grill, I placed a thermometer below it to measure the heat transmission. Only 5 degrees were added to the ambient air temperature, and my fingertips couldn't feel the change. There is no way you could reasonably overflow onto your tabletop unless you were cooking more than 50 inexpensive burgers at once because of the sealed bottom construction and big capacity, removable (slides out to the side) drip tray, both made of stainless steel. If you turn off the smoke detectors, I'm sure you could cook four steaks and eight pieces of chicken indoors on your dining room table without causing any damage. What you should know is:The dome is relatively shallow, for one. A pork shoulder will fit, but a complete ham won't cook in this space.2. The stainless steel is light gauge yet highly built. This will improve portability and unquestionably save manufacturing costs. This indicates that it heats up and cools down quickly, which is practical while moving the grill around and cleaning it but problematic when you want the grill to heat up and maintain its temperature, which brings us to my next issue.3. Opening the grill top to turn or braise will cost you at least 50F, and sometimes 100F, due to the light gauge steel and shallow dome. Heat can be restored in just one minute, but purists should be aware of this. Due to this, I refer to it as a performance bike.4. I was able to serve supper, eat, then take the cooktop, burner covers, and drip tray off and put them in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes because it cools rapidly and all the surfaces are stainless steel. This was the grill's best feature because I had never owned one that could be cleaned in the dishwasher and according to the same schedule as the kitchen after supper. Nearly as much as the grill's purchase price was represented by this one feature.5. The shallow dome and two burner layout made indirect cooking incredibly simple. Meat can be turned over, seared on one side of the grill, and then moved to the other side to finish cooking. In comparison to a Coleman kettle grill, this functions better when the shallow dome lid is closed.Posting updates.

Char- Broil Standard Portable Liquid Propane Gas Grill Review:

Over the years, I've owned a lot of these, and they usually last me 6 to 8 years before I need to replace them. I take it with me when we go skiing, to sporting events, and camping. It's wonderful to be able to fire up the grill and have dogs or burgers ready in 10 minutes, use it to cook garlic bread (wrapped in foil; remember to turn it every few minutes cooking on the "low" setting), cook up a tri-tip, chicken legs, or rib eyes (up to four Costco steaks on the grill at once), or even wrap the grill in foil and use it to cook marinated boneless, skinless chicken thighs. If you utilize your imagination and keep an eye on it, you'd be surprised at what these grills are capable of.My family and I make a lunchtime agreement to meet at the car when we go skiing, where we grill dogs and enjoy them with chips and beer. In comparison to purchasing lunch for five at the lodge, I estimate the first lunch we had with this new one paid for it.Please understand that I'm not saying this is as handy or as excellent as my full-size Weber, but for the price, it's hard to match. It took 30 to 45 minutes to put it together, as others have stated, and a reasonable set of tools. Don't expect to put this together at the park 10 minutes before starting to prepare lunch for your family; it shouldn't take hours or require an MIT degree. It was docked one point since I had to go to the hardware store to purchase longer bolts to connect the handle to the lid.

The top 5 gas grills, in my opinion, are the Weber Genesis II E-310, the Broil King Regal 490 Pro, the Napoleon Prestige 500, the Camp Chef Smokepro DLX, and the Char-Broil Performance 475. All of these grills have their own unique features that make them stand out from the rest, but in my opinion, these are the top 5.
