This thermal bomber jacket is very cozy and has great reflecting and visibility qualities. I used to go through a lot of winter jackets as I was growing up because of puberty. Anyway, I purchased my previous jacket from Sports Authority* (this was before Dick's Sporting Goods acquired Sports Authority and permanently closed it.) The new jacket, the Thermal Bomber, is waterproof and great in extremely cold weather. I've used it in freezing rain, taking my dog for a walk, sprinkling salt on the ground, and shoveling snow. The old jacket also had some visibility and was quite nice; it was great in cold weather and light rain, but not in heavy rain. Additionally, I mostly believed that if the roads weren't frozen, I would ride my bike in the snow, but that didn't happen in 2019 at all. I am typically reluctant to purchase a jacket that isn't a well-known brand like Eddie Bower, Addias, Nike, etc. On my old jacket, however, the stitching that the zipper was attached to broke, and even though I tried to resew the zipper on, it was unsuccessful. On top of all of that, one of the zipper teeth broke, so I was unable to zip my jacket up. I was able to keep it on, however, with an expandable snap on the bottom, but that did no good as it did not keep me warm. In addition, when I first purchased my old jacket, I unintentionally purchasedSo, when I was looking for a new jacket, I kept in mind what my old one had, such as warmth in bitterly cold weather, visibility, and a brilliant color, as well as what it lacked, which was waterproofing. Therefore, I looked at a number of coats and worried that I might need to purchase a few sizes larger, so I browsed for a while before settling on this one.At least in my experience when it comes to winter gear, any clothing or sporting equipment, etc., regardless of the seasons or reasons for shopping for new gear, I always think what I might be buying is cheap quality, cheap stitching, etc. For now, will see how it holds up, for the price I was amazed, (hopefully more customers will be able to relate to me here).Nevertheless, if I spend $50 or more on something, I often believe it to be of superior quality and will last me at least a few years or longer, depending on its durability, stitching, etc. Since I usually shop this way, especially if you're on a budget, I always read both positive and negative reviews of products before I buy anything in order to make sure I'm not overspending. However, this jacket really caught me off guard, not only because of the price but also because of the positive reviews on Amazon.The small pockets are the only thing I don't like about the jacket, and it would've been nice if it was just a few inches longer, but then it would've been a coat since coats go past your thighs and jackets go to your waist, but that's okay, I can compromise. So when I got the jacket, I was excited. And after trying it on, I really like it. It's okay, I'll just have to keep that in mind when carrying my winter ski gloves or any other winter gear, and I may have to look for a coat something that goes to my thighs. The smaller pockets do worry me, but my old jacket did have pretty good size pockets even though it was a jacket and only went to my waist. I might or might not start looking for a coat in the spring so I can have something before next winter, but this jacket might be all I need to get me through the winter. Always remember to shop around before limiting your options if you're looking for a tough winter coat or jacket. Price is important, but so are reviews and, most importantly, the needs of the customer. Other important considerations include size and fit, comfort, height, width, durability, etc. If going up one size from the size you previously wore worries you, remember that it's okay to go two or more sizes up, if necessary. The last thing you want to do is get a coat that fits initially but then, after a while, merely feels tight and unpleasant. If you think about it, that is true of all clothing or ensembles. Remember that every person has a unique body type and level of autonomy, as well as unique needs and desires. So, just like with other clothing purchase, ensure that it fits well, is comfortable, and is in the style you enjoy. For instance, my mother had previously worn a jacket in size Medium, but over time it became too small for her. She had to order two sizes larger, in this case an XL, and she absolutely adores the coat she now owns. Although it worked for me, I still strongly advise you to try it.

For work, my spouse needs a new jacket. His clothing complied with the requirements for visibility because he works for the state road crew. He adores the coat. His shoulders are not pulled by it, and it fits perfectly. It has long enough sleeves that don't ride up. For his 6'3" body, the jacket's length is ideal. He believes that wearing a hoodie underneath will keep him warm enough for the winter. He really appreciates the variety of pocket options. The cost of this jacket was well spent. We ordered jackets for five of the guys on his crew.

The materials used to make this coat are of high quality, and it is sufficiently warm for winters in New England. The outer shell nylon is what I would describe as medium weight; it's not as hefty and robust as you might see on a high-end coat, but it's also not as cheap and fragile either. The coat complies with ANSI class 3 and the reflective material, while not 3M Scotchlite, is still respectable. The hood is water-repellent but not removable, lightweight, and uninsulated.However, you cannot go wrong for $40 and the lighter weight cloth is, in my opinion, better anyhow. The overall quality is not what you would get in a $350 or $450 coat. Very thin jacket, however it keeps sparks off my regular clothing while welding and grinding. Even though I have long arms, the jacket arms are still rather lengthy, and when worn with welding gloves, my flesh is completely covered. Jacket packs up quite tiny, making it convenient to travel with. I can fit it inside my welding mask, which offers the mask a little amount of protection and gives me somewhere to store the jacket.The jacket is cozy, and I purposefully got a size larger to give me a bit more room to walk around. It's been wonderful and not at all too baggy. The jacket appears to be well-made; there are no loose threads or other signs of shoddy construction like I've noticed on other, lesser welding jackets. It might not provide adequate protection for large welding operations, but for minor stick welding jobs in my garage, it's been a perfect alternative to a leather apron. It could be useful if you need to weld while still interacting with customers or clients without taking off a bulky apron because it resembles a regular jacket.

I bought this because I'm sick of short ponchos drenching my pants and the inside of my boots. I'm 5'7 "I decided to test this poncho because I am tall (? ), light, and athletic. Wow, is it large! The poncho was a bit closed up by the snap, so I added some self-sticking Velcro to the open sides to close it up. I put on my 16-inch boots during a windy rainstorm (mother nature, not me) "Mucks and I strolled through our neighborhood park for two miles with my two black Labradors. The poncho kept the rain away, and I was dry and comfortable—exactly what I've been hoping for. Although they were a mess, dogs liked it. I'll get a second one as a backup. A nice product thus far. Thanks.

I bought it so that I could take my dogs for evening walks in a suburban neighborhood without sidewalks and with neighbors who think it's okay to travel at 40 mph through a neighborhood. Since the dogs dislike being forced to walk in the rain, I haven't had to use it in severe weather.Positives: 1) The jacket is fairly warm.2) The lined hood is really excellent, and it was what really set this product apart from the others.3. It reflects light a lot!4) Size corresponds exactly to the table given. I measured a jacket I already owned to make sure it was what I wanted. It arrived without any surprises.Cons: 1) The "hand" pockets are oddly designed and should only be used to store tiny items like light gloves. They ought to move the pocket openings and have someone wear the jacket.2) The left edge hood snap is prone to un-popping when I tighten the hood because it is very light. I would suggest utilizing a zipper to fasten the hood if they were seeking for a better solution. I have no issues with a similar jacket I own that does that. To better secure it, I'll probably sew a couple Velcro buttons onto myself.3. To prevent having to tie knots at the end or a bow beneath my chin, I installed cord locks on the hood strings.If my friends desired a hood and were looking for a similar item, I would suggest they buy this jacket.

Sweatshirt that is lightweight for the workplace. I really like how the arms and tummy are all black. You know the sleeves and stomach areas get pretty nasty from the grease, grime, stench, or whatever when you work around machinery, just like I do. We don't appear to be slobs thanks to those blacked-out sections.It's a thin sweatshirt like this. beneath this sweatshirt with a long sleeved shirt on. You should be fine down to 50 degrees, in my opinion. The major problem is how readily the wind can tear through it.Since I have broad shoulders (48") and am 5'9" and 210 pounds, the XL fits me perfectly across my shoulders but is a little big in the arms and waist. I'll get at least two more years out of it for the price. I'm not really pounding it up because I'm a Vibe Tech at work.
