One of the covers I have dealt with that is easier to install is this one. Every tangent of your coils can be readily tightened by applying the necessary pressure, resulting in a correctly tight wrap that increases its longevity. Additionally, it frays considerably less than other materials I've used. I can't be sure that it will survive the "life of the car," as they say, because it's a little fragile and I just installed it.The drawbacks of this type of fiberglass material are that it will itch for at least three days after you are pierced by it. I discovered that I still experienced itching on my hands, arms, and legsââŹâbasically anyplace I had the pipes resting while handling the materialââŹâeven with long jeans, long socks, and a long shirt. I believe that there would still be a problem even if I pre-soaked this wrap in water. If you don't obtain a wrap made of silica, I guess you can't get around this (which would still prick you but not nearly as much). Pick your poison, however keep in mind that you can spend hundreds of dollars on wrap that will only cover a set of longtubes as opposed to this, which can offer the same coverage for a quarter of the price.I give it a total of 4 stars and believe that this is a fair grade. For the price, it's a decent wrap.Simply remember to wear eye protection, protective clothing, and if you can, a surgeons mask or dust mask. And even better, a face protection.

I wrapped a Harley with pipes of normal length with this product. To complete the task, the 50 feet 1 inch was hardly long enough. Before installing, they advise taking the pipes off the bike. The gasket between the engine and the header should also be replaced, according to them. I decided to install on the bike because I didn't have replacement gaskets. If you install it on the bike, it is advised that you calculate how much material the first pipe will require and cut it off so that you do not have to deal with fifty feet of material each time you wound it around the pipe. It gets tighter and prevents slippage during installation with the help of a soak in water. Wear gloves since handling this substance is similar to handling fiberglass insulation. The stainless ties were provided.work but are more challenging to cinch down than electrician ties. I've successfully used hose clamps in the past. Be prepared to notice smoke when you start the bike because it burns off the manufacturing materials. I would hold off until the next day to give the water time to evaporate.

arrived earlier than expected by several days. For any starter, the wrap and metal ties are more than adequate. The wrap was more than big enough to fit around my 1970 Ford big block starter, which is the size of a coffee can. The self-locking metal ties are a little bit simpler to use because they are self-locking. Even while it still gets heated, it keeps my starter significantly cooler and no longer struggles to crank the engine. It is also shiny.

In order to repair two damaged intake houses in my automobile that had developed holes and cracks due to heat, I bought this silver heat reflecting tape. There are two intake hoses, each costing $80, so replacing them would cost quite a bit of money and might have the same effects. So I bought some tape to hide the holes and wrap the plastic parts of the hoses. Overall, the tape has been holding up really well for more than a month. I've noticed greater throttle response and airflow, and my gas mileage has improved back to normal after initially losing one or two mpg. I did use the entire roll, but it wasn't sufficient for my use; therefore, I also purchased the 30 foot roll.

The length and size were good. The fibreglass fraying bothered me. It became quite irritating. It was simple to install, however it took some practise to get the hang of it. I completed installing a set of shorty headers in a 351w. The dei silicon paint that I used did assist with the appearance. I purchased too much because I only utilised approximately 30 feet.
