About seven of them were ordered by my son for his growing collection of die cast cars. I got one to protect a model of the Batmobile from deterioration. The 1/25th scale automobile fits in this area just well. They appear to be strong and enduring. The initial one was bought over a year ago. There are none to report. Although they are not particularly elegant displays, they function well and are manufactured well.

These are still excellent, albeit a little bit smaller than I had imagined. They are simple to erect. The plants I've put on them make me feel like I'm pushing the weight limit, but thus far everything seems okay. Two of the pots are about a cm too big and slightly protrude over the edge. The plants weigh about three pounds each. Without a doubt, I wouldn't add anything heavier. I know it's intended for exhibiting lighter items, but they look secure. If it's necessary, I might look into adding a little extra security to the wall.

They were bought to hold pinned insects, and they are big enough to hold 8–10 medium butterflies or more than 20 small ones. It worked perfectly when I switched out the polyester for a thin layer of foam to hold beetles (their feet get tangled in the threads). The price is incredible, and it's strong enough that you don't have to watch it for it.EDIT 8/26/15: Of course I can include pictures for my fellow bug enthusiasts! Check out these critters; once more, I advise removing the batting for species of Pieridae, Lycaenidae, and Riodinidae beetles and butterflies because their tiny legs can get tangled in it. Everyone is on the batting in these previous pictures, but I've subsequently moved some people around and eliminated others. To prevent your specimens from catching, you can also put a thin piece of cardboard (or printer paper, so paper towel roll) under them.

We enjoy preserving a lot of the things we find in nature as a home-schooling family. These display containers are ideal for carefully showcasing any interesting insects, butterflies, or other creatures we come across and want to save for future use. The glass is substantial, and the casings are robust. The dense cushioning, which feels like cotton, keeps specimens in place. These boxes are shut with two clip pins, which clamp the lid in place, even though I would prefer push pin closures. The push pins are really a matter of personal preference for me; these do maintain closure. We are really happy with our purchase and will probably place additional orders in the future.

I ordered 4 of these and found that 2 were perfect and 2 were broken. The broken area was the weakest spot of course, which is the hinge area, so they must have been tossed hard and the shock broke the hinge area. I absolutely LOVE these and they are packaged beautifully to prevent damage, but UPS and FEDEX have ways of damaging things that are unknown to man. They are beautiful and quite practical, therefore I was very irritated and disappointed. I've returned the two, am awaiting the replacements, and am crossing my fingers that they arrive undamaged. The bottom section has a larger opening than the two upper shelves, which are the same size but the bottom section is taller to display taller items. These cases are large; I purchased the 12x12x19-inch model. The shelves are stationary, so make sure the items you need to store will actually fit on them. I have things stored in mine so that if the hinges ever break, the cabinet sides won't be damaged. Instead, I'll just leave the door off and enjoy the clear acrylic shelves. I can't wait to have my belongings exhibited in these cabinets. Keep my stuff under glass is vital to me since I have cats and my neighbor blows dust over here every day with her leaf blower, and this accomplishes that goal without causing me to worry that there would be broken glass all over the place if a cat knocks one to the floor. These come highly recommended, but be prepared for UPS to muck things up.
